Salad was good, but everything is very expensive. But I think I need return for more objective review

This tiny eatery not far from downtown sports a cozy and warm interior, nice food with a great presentation. Expect a little longer wait at peak hours.We tried among other things their fish soup,, the duck fillet, Zander, veal Dutchman style. All good!

I adore this place, Amster Damster. Their mini pancakes are superb!🎆☀️🌟Wonderful ambiance with an extremely friendly and helpful wait staff. Great music 🎶 and fun travel and adventure videos. I love the color scheme and the interior design. Plus the music 🎵 was pleasant.

The place was highly recommended to me, but our experience wasnt the best. I ordered lunch and a glass of water. My salad was never brought to me, and I had to remind about the water 3 times at least. It was finally brought when I finished eating (the idea was to drink it before eating).The food was nice, but nothing special, as you couldve expected reading the menu with some beautiful names on it. The salad still was included in the bill, so I had to ask to change it.The service was really poor, we had several waiters, they couldnt explain what are the ingredients, and we had to repeat our requests.Hardly would recommend coming here, sorry.

Wow. Been coming here about once a month for 4 years. Service has really gotten bad. Not even busy and took 20 minutes to get drinks. Continually ignored by the wait staff. Just generally disappointing to see a place with such promise fall so far.

Place is nice, but the stuff is extreamly slooooowww... we had to wait 15 minutes in the morning (!!! just to make our order. There were just about 10 customers in there...

The best part of this establishment is the small but cozy terrace-- the garden is very nice.The food is alright, not a place to go to just to eat, more a place to hang out, have a few appetizers to share with friends and chill. Its a nice place for young friend groups or couples looking for a quick bite.The food is varied with various European items, with an emphasis on Dutch cuisine.

It might seem as just another cafe. But its atmosphere facilitate very intense gatherings and talks. Whether they are business or festive, they leave a lasting impression rhen done in here.

Interesting and cosy place in the city center, specialized on dutch cuisine, thats quite unusual. It has a pretty view on the park, if you are sitting on the terrace. Prices are higher than average. Dishes are delicious and tastes like home made. The best beef, that Ive eat, well-cooked and really delicious on "smoyarbrods" with beef and chili. Tasty crockets, and graten like at home. Quite strange but still delicious beef in a cream sauce. And rice with curry chicken, its well-cooked and tasty, but its not curry. It has a lot of French mustard, I dont understand, why its called curry. So main dishes are tasty, but for their prices, they can be better.A most refreshing and tasty lemonade with the peach and mint. Top 1 to order in a hot summer day.Really various and interesting cocktails menu. But be prepared for the huge ice cube in your 300ml delicious cocktail, so as result, you only have 100ml of it. Its a bit frustrating, when the prices are quite big.So I will recommend to visit it, to taste and see something new to feel this cosy atmosphere, but cannot say, that its place where I want to come again and again.

Business lunch - EUR 4-6. Tasty. Quite a quick service - it took about 15 minutes to start and finish the lunch. But later a was waiting another 10 minutes for the bill:(

Waiter forgot about my appetizer, asked to have our food served at the same time, and they gave me my dish cold and my companion received food only 25 minutes later. They didnt had the dish I wanted available. The food was extremely DRY after all the waiting. And serving FIVE fries to my schnitzel is an insult I cant take, because waiter recommending me to order more fries to a dish with a side of fries is out of this world insulting. Avoid and boycott this place.

10 of 10. Situated in the nice and cosy place, very positive atmosphere. Wide Smørrebrød menu, tasty salads, astonishing hummus set. Everything was served immediately "right from the fire".And overwhelming chocolate fondant for desert.Cant wait to come back again.

Breakfast was extremely poor and not tasty. One vold toast bread with 2 cold sunny sides up and precisely 1 spon of beans is called an english breakfast for 6 eur. Went the next day to Mama Manana and ate CHEAPER and incomparably better food.

One of my favorite places to have breakfast. Good food, rather quiet, well located, you can always park a car nearby, and they have BIG tables, you can comfortable sit with all food, coffee and a laptop :)

Its kinda expensive and small but you shoukd try lemonade with lavender. It tasted really nice!

Great lunch here. Loved the Dutch herring sandwich with onions and pickles. All the dishes we had were great as well as the service. Definitely popping by here again some time.

Well, its a Netherlands-themed place, and its nice in every way. An interesting menu, and a good variety of alcohol. The wine selection is small, but good. As a fan of Penicillin cocktail, I can recommend it here.

Food was interesting and excellent. We just stopped for a late evening dessert and I had lemonade and a freshly baked brownie that was filled with melted dark chocolate and served with vanilla ice cream. The lemonade was very sour as the sugar was on the side, excellent choice as the dessert was very sweet. I cant tell you how good that chocolate dessert was, try it yourself, you wont be sorry. Only issue was the terminal would not take my American Visa credit card, so I had to pay in cash.

Cozy interior, food is just ok, nothing extraordinary but very very bad service. We waited for an hour or so. Waiters are friendly but inefficient. They take dishes you have not finished but bring one dish per hour in a strange order. I dont know who to blame for that - whether it is the cook (do they have the only cook for the restaurant?)or waiters. We will not come here again...

Shockingly bad "English" breakfast. Served with raw tomatoes, kidney beans (yes, seriously!), disgusting sausage and God knows what kind of ropey ham. Had been in before for drinks and had to wait over 15 minutes after ordering and it wasnt even busy. Wont be going there again.

One of my favorite spots in Kyiv! A must visit every time I am in town. Amazing, friendly staff, warm reception and great service overall. I’ve tried every single dish on the menu and can attest to its deliciousness (my personal favorite is croquette mix plate). The vibe is a unique Holland-Ukraine combo, which makes this place so unique. Highly recommend!

This place is exceptional! Such a wonderful friendly environment. The staff is professional, warm and inviting. We wanted a place to relax and enjoy authentic food from the Netherlands and that is just what we got. You must try the bitterballen and the sweet chili chicken my absolute favorites My husband and I enjoyed the Dutch Cheese platter and fine red wine for starters and it was so delicious! We went out for a night on the town for our anniversary and they sang us a song! We will definately return with the kids to try the waffles with carmelized apples and the chocolate fondant. So pleased to find a traditional hotspot, with real Netherlands food!

In general, place is nice: good service, cozy terrace, nice location in the city center, but not so close to the busy roads. Food is ok, nothing really special and for its price ( for Kyiv these prices are above average), you expect something delicious and you get just ok food ( we ordered forshmak, fish soup and chilly chicken).p.s. if you are in Kyiv for the weekend not recommend to go this place, there are better restaurants to visit

This place is amazing! The menu has a lot of unique dishes, which are soaked with Netherlands authenticity. There are different kinds of herring sandwiches, different snacks and interesting main dishes. Spirits and cocktails are stunning. If youre lucky you can grab a seat in the outdoor seating and spend some really good time there.

One of the very few restaurants in Kiev where they have Dutch food. Whilst the dishes are loosely based on Dutch cuisine, the cook gives his own twist on it, making it truly much more delicious then how the original dish tastes like in Holland

Place with great atmosphere and super-tasty food. Amazing herring and other kinds of fish. Ordered a shark and it was delicious! The place serves several kinds of beer and quite a number of cocktails. Very nice place to spend an evening.

Nice cozy place with delicious food! Kids will also love it! You can also chose it for breakfast. My kid was mad about this tiny pancakes! Waffle with salmon was good.

One of the coziest restaurants as for me, a big screen walking you through Amsterdam contributes greatly to this. Food is very tasty and I also liked the service. Highly recommend.
