Vegan takes on classic comfort & soul food in a modern setting with buffet-style lunch & dinner.
I had a birthday meal at the Amrutha lounge on Saturday 29th of October. The food was incredible, the nuances of flavours was out of this world. My partner is an accomplished vegan cook, and l have to say that we could not fault the food.On top of that the staff were incredibly friendly as well as informative. The fact that you can bring your own alcohol really added to the great atmosphere, as in my experience so many restaurants are let down by over charging for their drinks.I will be booking a table again soon, a great experience!!
I loved it. I dont eat vegan food but it was the tastiest Ive tried ever. Everything was delicious. You can bring your own drink. Id recommend to book a table in advance. Highly recommended. 😋
Really delicious food, so opt for the £25 or £30 option as it’s bottomless.Only making an effort to leave a review because of the service, as it was excellent. Our Waiter was Zack and he was top notch. Not only did he ensure we were constantly topped up with food, he was considerate of our party (an annoying and loud group of 6and he always approached the table with humour and charm. In a time where people seem to complain more about the lack of good service, Zack & the restaurant are examples of exceptional hospitality.Thank you Zack, you enhanced our brilliant evening 😁
I love this place .I am not a vegan but wow I cant get enough of this place .The best restaurant ever !!!Full of flavour, I love everything on the menu and the service is out of this world.Every time I go to this little gem of a restaurant I get so excited. They treat you like a queen . Going again tomorrow and cant wait!
THE most incredible restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious (and it’s all you can eat!and the environment is so wonderful. Also, the best mango lassi ever (and vegan)! We were able to bring our own bottle of wine, which was really lovely. I would recommend this place to anyone and am so looking forward to coming back!
Such an amazing place. Great food, absolutely adorable staff, awesome vibes, and a sense of community. Every time I go in, the members of staff remember me, they ask about my husband if hes not there and I always get the feeling they are really happy to see me. We went there for a celebration once and they gave us free dessert and seemed genuinely happy for us.The food is top notch, too. Delicious plant based recipes, the pakoras are to die for! Definitely recommend. Bring a couple of friends, some bottles of your favourite drink (theyll keep them cool and charge no corkageand be ready to be amazed.
Not a vegan - but had family come to stay who are. Delighted I brought them here. An extremely creative menu (not your usual vegan fare), beautifully presented and waited on by extremely personable staff. Would highly recommend the pakoras, the udon noodles and the chocolate brownie!
The mood and environment of this place is good and the staff friendly. The food is okay but nothing special and about half of the items I didn’t enjoy in the all you can eat original selection so only had a mouthful then didn’t eat any more. Given that I got full quite quickly, I didn’t think the £25 was worth it. They say you can only pay what you feel like, but human psychology made me feel guilty to do this! Not special enough for repeat visits.
Such a lovely place - incredible staff excited by the food they’re serving. Delicious food with lots of options. They are also are incredible at catering for GLUTEN FREE people! (i am a coeliacHad a brilliant night thank you
I am personally not a vegan, but that did not stop me from absolutely loving this meal. For £25 each we received unlimited all you can eat top ups of amazing food that I could eat for days. We also tried the cheese cakes which tasted great. I would highly recommend coming here, and my friends have visited several times already. Staff was also incredibly friendly.
Great service, good value for meal. Had Thai box (requested pakora as gluten-freeand lovely herbal tea, before divine dessert of chocolate & cardamom cake. Highly recommend - book ahead!
Heaven for vegans and who like healthy food. We tried original selection menu and loved every dishes. Every dishes were delicious, healthy and good portion. Staffre amazing.
This was my first visit to a vegan restaurant in the UK. I loved it! The food was amazing: healthy and flavorful. The staff were extremely nice and genuine. They offered me free things to try, and I liked every item I got! Definitely returning soon.
Used them via Too Good to Go App. £4.50 for curry, separate rice, salad, slaw, split peas, and a brownie. Everything was utterly delicious and felt super healthy after my meal. Saw when I was there that it is also a BYOB restaurant and doesnt even charge a cork fee. Will definitely be dining in.
I recommend Amrutha Lounge to everyone. Any, non-vegan mostly, friends I have brought along have loved it! Their food is delicious, having visited for dinner and brunch, and they never let you leave hungry. They are welcoming and accommodating, making you feel more like a friend they’re cooking for with love than an anonymous customer. Tried take away recently and was equally delighted. I cannot praise them enough!
Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in London. I went with a friend but it would be the perfect place for a larger group or fun date! Exceptional service, absolutely delicious (and exotic!organic food and three absolutely delightful people checking in on us and making conversation during the meal.Love the BYOB policy too - helps make it a very reasonably priced meal.Thank you, I’ll be back!
First time here and cant fault a thing. The food was delicious and the service was first class. Arvin, the owner, came to deliver some of our dishes. The enthusiasm with which he speaks about the food is heartwarming. Excellent value for money. I will definitely go back, and highly recommend the little eaterie.
The owner was super cool, really accommodating and can completely understand why the restaurant has such good reviews. Food was really tasty and really made me appreciate Vegan food. Unfortunately I suddenly got really ill (nothing to do with the foodand was not able to say my thanks to the owner. Thank you to the restaurant and the staff that made the visit so pleasurable.
One of the best vegan restaurants I’ve ever been to. Loved the concept, service and food! Be sure to make a reservation because it’s a smaller place and tables fill quickly. Highly recommend getting one of the platters with unlimited refills - we could not stop eating. Everything was so comforting and fresh. This restaurant is worth the trek because it’s in zone 3 of London.
We went a few weeks ago because of the reviews. The service is good and the BYOB is great. Just was a little disappointed with the Original Selection we had at £20 each. It did lack flavour and was mostly things that could be made at home. Only the pakora was good. Maybe i’ll need to go back
Moved house nearby recently, every time I walked past it I saw that it was often very busy and full of diners enjoying themselves, so decided to give it a go. Very glad I did! We were very well looked after by Emily and Tash, who were able to provide us with a nice table at very short notice and were really pleasant and helpful in guiding us through the menu. The atmosphere inside was delightful and the food absolutely exquisite. Very fairly priced with large portions and a nice selection of offerings. I am not vegan myself but was blown away by the delicious and creative dishes on offer and the cosy ambiance of the restaurant. I will certainly be returning and would recommend visiting Amrutha whether youre vegan or not!
Amazing food! The flavors were unbelievable! The service was 10/10I truly recommend this place for everyone
Amazing experience at Amrutha. Regardless if you are a Vegan or not, this food is amazing! Arvin and co are amazing - lovely to chat with, your enthusiasm is infectious. Only thing to watch out for is leaving too full - those Pakoras are sensational. Definitely worth checking out
First visit and certainly not the last. Blown away by every dish and fantastic friendly service. Converted carnivore! Didnt miss the meat , every dish was different and great spice levels to suite everyone. The vegan ice cream from virtual gelato was lush. VERY REASONABLE
Honestly probably the best meal Ive eaten in London. Incredibly quick and personable service, fresh delicious food, tasted so fresh and everything was perfect. Ive never had falafels like them before. Great atmosphere and great staff. BYOB is a great addition too so everyone is happy. Incredible value for money and I can see myself coming back here and bringing all my friends. Perfect for larger groups and small parties!!!! Couldnt recommend enough. You dont even have to be vegan to enjoy this place, the food is too good to even matter if theres any dairy eggs or meat in the dishes!!!
Amazing food at such an affordable price. Staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Great experience all-round
Ive been wanting to go for a while but it was always fully booked. Now I know why! It is absolutely fantastic! The staff, the service, the food, the FLAVOURS! I was amazed about the experience. I recommended it 100% and I would love to go back (and I will many many times!! The chef is wonderful, so caring and enthusiastic!
Amazing food and the service was excellent. Actively encourage free top-ups and attentive/care about the food. Byob is handy and they are very helpful with no corkage. Recommend!
Found this place by chance. Ordered pakora to have as snack. The man , sorry already forgotten your name, put few more items in to box to taste. All are delicious. You guys should sell a lunch box like this. Definitely visit the place again to taste other snacks and dishes .
Absolutely loved this place! We had a birthday brunch with endless food, really friendly staff, and BYOB just to top it all off. Look how colourful the different plates were and its great value - will be back.
My first vegan restaurant and it didnt disappoint. Packed full of flavours and very filling. The highlight however was the desserts. Absolutely delicious! We had a really friendly and bubbly guy waiter today who gave first class service.Highly recommend.
It was our first time in this special place, all #vegan #plant based. Great place for lunch. The team were incredibly friendly and quick on their feet, and every dish was fresh and full of balanced taste. The 6 of us ordered the full menu and desert and were so very happy and pleased, Definitely coming back! *Worth making a reservation.
We brought my mother-in-law (who is vegetarianhere for her birthday meal…what an absolute treat! The restaurant is cosy, intimate, clean but most importantly the food was absolutely delicious! We order a tapas style of several dishes to share across three of us, with any of the dishes being replenished at our request. The food was amazing! My mother-in-law cooks a lot of her own veggie dishes and our waiter was very friendly and happy to oblige in explaining to her how some of the meals are prepared ingredients-wise. We left completely full with our hunger satisfied. Absolutely love this restaurant (staff are lovely and friendly tooand would be happy to come back to visit again. Highly recommend.
Absolutely lovely. The food, the people, the atmosphere. There is nothing not to love about this establishment. Absolutely love the passion of the team. Will definitely be making this a regular even if its a train ride from us.
My friend brought home some left overs from this place. I think the chef must be an angel. A literal angel. I was lucky enough to try two of their curries and oh my lord!!!! BEST CURRY I EVER HAD!!!!! Thank you chef. Yay to amazing cooking!
This place is a hidden gem. Shop front unassuming though all sorts of flavours are bursting from the colourful dishes!I’m a real meat eater so coming here I wasn’t expecting to be too impressed but it was delicious. Try it! You won’t be disappointed.
we found an incredible vegetarian cafe right next to home! incredibly delicious food, especially fermented foods and raw desserts! you should try all kinds of cheesecakes!by the way.. me and my partner are not vegetarians at all:))but .. we fell in love with the cuisine of this cafe:)
Such incredibly tasty food! You could easily miss Amrutha Lounge when walking in Earlsfield, as we have - and wow what we have been missing!! Incredibly delicious food and the £20/25 buffet option is the way to go! Your table transforms into an explosion of colour when the food arrives. With the added bonus of being able to bring your own drinks, with no corkage charge, this is destined to become one of our go to places in SW London! Amazing.
I wish I could give this place 10/5 stars! Incredible food, incredible service and amazing atmosphere. Nothing for the Amrutha crew was too much, they went above and beyond with service. We will be recommending to everyone and be back very soon! Ps make sure you get the big menu including everything it is totally worth it!
Everything about this place is amazing. Not only is the food vegan, it is absolutely incredible - such a wild variety of flavours and cuisines mixed together. It is incredible value too - BYOB and if you get the banquet you can have extra refills of your plates. And the staff are just genuinely lovely. You must visit.
This place is amazing! The food is super tasty, you get free top ups all night (and they encourage you to enjoy yourself and eat as much as you want), whatever you dont manage you get to take home and its bring your own booze. The service is outstanding with a personal touch and we were made to feel very welcome. I think we will be looking to make this our regular! Thanks for the lovely evening <3
Blown away! Other than absolutely delicious and very moreish, I would add words that I would not normally use to describe food from any restaurant - Clean, positive and nourishing. Superb concept and well done to the chef. Note - service is also par excellence. Very personable and all in all 5 out of 5.
Can convert the strongest meat eaters! Daringly took a lot of anti vegan food friends here using my birthday as leverage. They not only loved the food but were asking for the recipes! The owner is incredibly nice and actually is giving us the recipes too! The food was creative, super tasty and healthy. You can bring your own drinks and dogs and pay what you like. Its the vegan dream restaurant!
A 360 experience! The Food, absolutely phenomenal. Literally every dish I tried was incredibly tasty, the staff were very friendly and had that human touch which I think is sometimes overlooked in the eating out experience. I travelled with a group across London to try out this place and it didnt disappoint.
We had been wanting to eat here for a year or so... and Amrutha exceeded all expectations! The food was sublime, our favourites were the gazpacho, pakoras & cashew cheese. The staff were so lovely, even bringing extra food out, including a lovely new cheesecake, and locally made sorbet! It was heartwarming to see Amrutha giving out extra food to folks with tupperwear.. they need to charge for this!We cant wait to come back! Food for the soul! Thank you Amrutha for a perfect lunch, and our dogs were made to feel so welcome too.
This was my first visit to a fully vegan restaurant and i loved it. My friends had booked the entire restaurant for their wedding meal. The food was delicious; the sharing dish concept means you can try a variety of different flavours and ingredients.Service was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and had gone out their way to make sure the couple enjoyed their special day. They even provided a vegan and gluten free wedding cake. Will definitely visit again.
I would recommend someone to visit London if only to experience this restaurant. It is worth the taxi, Uber or tube ride. You definitely need a reservation as they are on the smaller side intend to be fully booked. You will be satisfied and glowing from all the healthy and tasty food. Inventive w ingredients and presentation. Owner is a rock star! Food was so tasty! Service excellent! It was our first time. Argon was lovely and very humble and accommodating! Love this place. Will definitely go again!
Beautiful food & amazing service! Just. Go.You can even BYOB should you be so inclined. 🍻 The all you can eat selection is excellent value at £15, they have spicy yellow curry and not-so-spicy dahl to cater to everyones tastes and their tofish is almost certainly the best Ive ever tried. They made the coffee iced for me AND they took the mushrooms out of everything when I let slip I hate them. Went here with my family and cant wait to bring my friends to this little oasis!
Excellent vegan joint! Everything was delicious, the chef is lovely he even gave us free soup because our food was going to take a while. The food was so tasty, even my non vegan boyfriend was impressed. That said the food was too spicy for me so it didnt land well in my stomach, Ill make sure I ask for non spicy at all next time, it was still delicious. Try the lemonade!
Best place in London! This is an gem, absolutely divine vegan food, and one of the best foods I have had. The menu has just the right amount of delicious foods on there. The courses are packed with flavours and the portions are so generous! It leaves you feeling so satisfied! The staff is so caring and generous! The chef is a genius! Thanks so much for an great evening with lovely service!Ps; If you want to have a drink, its bring ur own booze with no corkage fee :)
