Tasty sea food in Ammos restaurant, Piraeus, Greece loved it and I got a chocolate cake with ice cream on the house

The staff are pretty rude but the food is really good.

Staff was nice. Great location and view. However, the food was not that good. We ordered fried calamari and it was overcooked and was like rubber. We sent it back and the second was a little better, but still rubbery. Seafood risotto was undercooked.

11/10. Best seafood ever. Quick service and unique dishes. We also got amazing desert on the house. I recommend the fried shrimp and grilled sardines!Extras: view, surroundings and interior design. Perfect

A place i always visit since my first time in Athens since 2014 Simple good Greek food. In May i could finally go back after 2 years covid pandemic and it was like coming home. A great place to in a nice small harbour When your in Athens go to Ammos!!

The food was just wonderful and delicious, mussels were huge and melted in your mouth...

Big disappointment, very bad food, really bad experience,We were 4 people, each order a different dish and everyone was disappointed

Prices are okay and Food is not bad but they place bread on your table with out saying something and then want 1€ each person. We didn’t touch the bread and said we don’t want it but they tried to let us pay for it. Got very mad at the end

Very loud place! Also I ordered the mussels and one of them was full of sand, the whole dish was ruined. They did not offer nothing either to replace it or not to pay for this dish. Lost my appetite awful experience

Wewere looking for a restaurant in this area and this one struck us as good quality yet reasonable and down to earth.- good quality of food- friendly and helpful waitress (putting heaters closer to us as it was cold)- fresh seafood- free toasted bread and lemon at start- at the end we got free drink (Rakomeloas part of winter season + free dessertOverall good experience and value for price.

Great food, great location by the water, great views! Wait staff was great too. We had the rocket salad, greek salad and the feta cheese/honey appetizer. All so good! The entrees of seafood risotto and seafood pasta was delicious and cooked just right! Not over priced considering the view/ location.

Very good food, portions are great, magnificient decor and the prices are more than acceptable for the quality and quantity of food we received!!Grilled octopus was delicious, mussels also and the seafood ravioli!I recommend :)

A very nice restaurant, whit a good sea food. So plates may be small and some you may not finish because of the amount of food that is in them

Nice location. Average taste, food wasnt special. Also service was average. Even though, we were few tables, still we waited our orders long.

The appetizers where fine, long wait for the saganaki tho.For main course we had the grilled shrimps and the sea food risotto, which where average in taste but a bit overpriced.Afterwards we got a dessert of the house which was a good finish.Service was fine, but their english was a bit lakking which made them sometimes come over as rude.

From Athens we went for a afternoon trip to the sea and of course to eat some seafood.There are a lot of different restaurants down the road, we choose this one because it look so nice and the people eating looked happy.We werent disappointed - the food was great! Besides the small Seafood platter we ordered a spinach salad and some more fish. Since the platter was so big, we didnt finish everything so they packed it and we bought it home for a late night snack 😄

We order two sea food risottos and I never had try something as bad as that. It was a kind of rice with a sea stuffs with any flavour. Te waiter doesnt was kind at all eather. I dont recomend this site.

Loved the food , great place, saganaki was my favorite but the rest was also delicious, tried so many...

Unpleasant stuff, not the same to all guests, we had fealing that we are not wanted there. Food was good and came were quickly, but because of atmosfere we would not come back again. Also there was some loud guests, who ruined all other guests night and stuff didnt do anything about that. We didnt receive welcome water and somethnig sweet at the end of the dinner. Greek people are very friendly and good hosts so this was unlikely for them

Its correct, as many places across this port it has a beautiful setting if close to the water.Service requires an improvement, young waiters are nice, but what seems to be the owners that are very present in the service are not comforting.Fair prices and sizable rations, so recommended for groups.

Great view, but mediocre food and bad service. If you order a burger with fries, you get a piece of meat and a couple of fries (Not even salad or condiments). In summary, there are nicer places to eat in Piraeus.

Lovely view of the sea and really tasty seafood!They have a solid wine selection which ranged between great affordable wine (5€to the pricier (probably just as greatwines (50€+). The service was great. I highly recommend this restaurant for its quirky interior, solid €/€€ wine selection, and really delicious seafood. I thought the food portions were good/reasonable too - leaned more towards the larger side (which I loved).10/10 - cant wait to return in warmer weather.

Slow service. Not good in English and when I ordered vegetables and rice they only served rice and though I meant rice instead of vegetables. I paid 64euro for 1kg white Grouper.The fish was tasty but there was no sauce or condiments, to order a Tzatziki for sauce.Not impressed.I was also seated at the worst seat avaliable where the servers had to go behind me to take draft beer.Intrusive.

Very nice place for a good lunch or dinner in Downtown Piraeus for seafood on the water is very clean youll find very courteous understanding of guests needs they do their best to accommodate you and will serve you with great attitude very helpful speak English. The food here is a Greek delicatess cuisine I do recommend visiting this place

Seafood as good as it gets, in a great setting. Its like you sit in the water of the marina. Wonderful. And good food. Take the seafood platter. The small one serves two hungry diners with ease.

We got the small seafood platter for 3 people and it was enough, but way too oily. The feta with honey starter was ok. We also ordered melitzanosalata, which came in a generous portion and was very nice and also 3 beers. Price was under 50€ total so not too bad and the view was nice. I wouldn’t go again though.

Ordered a dish called "crawfish fresh", got 8 little pieces of fried crawfish and a poor mayo dip, absolutely horrible! Worst food experience yet in Athens! For 14€/dish you should never receive that. 1 star for an ok greek salad.

I come to eat at Ammos twice a year whenever I visit my family in Athens. The view on the boats is so romantic, the foods amazing (fresh seafood top quality: try the garlic steamed mussels and the saffron seafood risotto, my 2 favoritesand a great sélection of wines. The staff was friendly each time. Evry time we eat like ogres for 20€ per person but you can eat for less, we order à lot.

Absolutely loved the food, view and service.. Definitely worth every penny.. Better priced as compared to other restaurants
