Amir - Lebanese restaurant in Montreal, Canada
I love it
I give 3, as their potatoes plus shawarma is a much tastier choice than MacDonald’s or Thai express.I would give 5. If the guy wear his gloves before!! tacking the plate, in which they are putting my food !
Falafel can be better with more tahini and garlic sauce
Garlic sauce doesn’t taste like garlic, the rice is very spicy. The patatoes are extremely spicy!! To the point it hearts your mouth!I got a shish taouk plate and had very little chicken | update2 years after posting my first review, I went back! Mistake! On top of everything I mentioned, the service is rude! Everything is a lot more expensive, (which is finebut the portions have become less and less generous. There are two men working there usually,no one smilies or shows any facial expressions…Will NOT return back!
The best amir in montreal
Over the past 15 years I have eaten at this Amir location. They are excellent, consistent and delicious. We always have a very good meal here each time. The portions are healthy and the food is always fresh. Excellent job every time!
Food was delicious. Yet the shawarma portion was too small.Food was served with only a plastic fork with it ( no spoon nor napkins )
Great pita sandwich!
I feel that I have to let people know about my experience in this Amir resto.I and my daughter, weve been in many Amir places. This one, in the Eaton Center is not the worst of them. Portions are a little too small, shawarma a little too dry and their potatoes have a kick of a spice for those who like it. In general it was OK.Have an hour later my daughter had a severe allergic reaction and we spent the rest of the evening in a reanimation room at the hospital. That could happen to anyone and its not their fault. What is absolutely unacceptable is the reaction of a guy who answered the phon when I called and ask to speak with somebody who is responsible for this resto. I explained the situation to him and I asked for a list of ingredients. My daughter hasnt had any allergies. Now we should find what triggered the reaction. I explained it to the guy. He started screaming at me saying that its our doctors job to find the allergen and was really really rude. Finally, another person picked up the phone, a lady, who answered some of my questions and was a bit helpful. She didnt give me the ingredients for meet saying that they receive the meet already marinated. And gave me only one ingredient that they use for potatoes from probably 5 or 6 because those potatoes were tasty. So, if you ready to spend your money for a mediocre food in the place that doesnt give a f@%^ for wat they cooking - you can visit the Amir resto in the Eaton Center.
Most embarrassing portions at such a premium price. Don’t waste your money here.
Great food, nice staff
Nah this aint it
Delicious, healthy, clean food.Mr. Blaiks service is A+
Best Lebanese food out there ! It’s always fresh and the portions are very generous. Definitely recommend this place it’s worth it
We had the grilled chicken with rice which was decent. Chicken was cooked well for us however the rice had a bit of a bite to it which isnt to our liking. Its fast food which is decent and not too bad given that its one of 2 halal places in the food court in Eaton Centre.
The service is very fast and the portion is generous. Food quality yummmi
Very disgusting food. The rice is so spicy and hard. The meat is uncooked, and the potatoes are so spicey and rotten. VERY BAD FOOD!
Great food and platter options, love it.
Overpriced food that tastes like cardboard. Don’t eat there
Bad bad bad food. I used to recall Amirs food chain was better but this one is at another level in a bad way. The rice makes Uncle Bens microwavable rice looks like luxury. The potatoes are very greasy and the garlic sauce is heavy and greasy as well. They do not give you much meat for the shawarma (shish taouk). The best part was the salad which is at least something not processed. This is a shame to Lebanese food and a big shame to fast food; rock bottom.
Just went for an early lunch. Chicken (dry), potatoes (wastedand pita (hard as rockwere disgusting. Rice was good and salad was ok-ish. First time Im disappointed eating at Amir. Wont go back to this one for sure.
Cheap af charges extra for hummus. Salad dors not feel fresh and garlic sauce doesn’t have much garlic.Villa madina or bash’s are much better
This is the worst Amir in the city. Just had a falafel pita wrap which is hard to mess up but this Amir puts too many spices in the falafel and its dry and tastes so awful I had to throw it out after one bite. The staff is awful too and rude. They put no love into their food. Ive tried other things on their menu and everything tastes bad even the rice. Im serious save your money and go to another Amir or Boustans.
Great falafel and the prices are amazing.
Great food ...Great service...the owner is a nice person...always remembers what I order
Cocky and impolite customer service. Food was pretty mediocre compared to other Amir restaurants.
Always tasty and staff are always the most friendly and cheerful!
Vegetables are not fresh. Love serving rotting lettuce.
The best ail sauce and hummus
Was enjoyable, definitely was not real authentic Chinese food , but was ok for mall food .
okay service, but great food
A franchise for Lebanese food...depends on the restaurant.
Should go to amir instead of mcd
Not bad
very small portions
Absolutely disgusting. The owner is so cheap with the portions. They charge extra for hummus sauce on the side. On top of all that, the food is not fresh and tastes very bad. Avoid at all costs.
Garlic sauce is mayonnaise.. Potato doesnt taste good and a tiny portion of meat
Waste of money, dont eat there anymore.Impolite personnel and medium quality of food!
Wrost resturant in Eaton center, dont waste your money, very impolite and parsimonious personels. You have to insist them for a little letuce. Low quility of chicken and meat. The personel had zero IQ, you should repeat everything twise or even more, and then they look at you like stupid people. Never order Shish kebab and poulet, they are pre-made from days ago, and seems like plastic. They dont look like the menu pictures...
Garlic sauce is mayo and barely and I say barely, tastes like garlic. Usually after eating this I need 3 pieces of gum, not today. When I asked the person behind the counter if it was mayo and if it was a mistake, he sayd its the same recipe and no one complains. I picked Amir out of all the restaurants at Eaton centre, and thats the response I get. First and last time.
Great service, great food. But they give small portions
Pls go somewhere else to eat. Expensive and you dont get what you pay for. Dont think you will get what they have shown in the display. You will get lot of mayonnaise.
Not fresh!
This place is awful. Go to the Basha right besides it if you want something decent.
A disgrace to Lebanese fast food!!!
Just go somewhere else. Food is cheapened so much. The $10 plate should be more like $8.
They could use improvement, but you can get vegan food here. Their falafel is overly salty.
If I could give a zero star I would. Horrible food. Horrible service. It was dried and bland.never going there again
Amirs is often one of my go-tos for fast food Lebanese, but this location is far from the best. Half the falafels were hard and tasteless garlic balls, some missing vegetarian options and an order screw up made for a less than ideal time.
Not bad.
