Very nice place with a great food choice, lovely staff and looks nice and tidy

Had a fantastic lunch here today! Both me and my guest chose the daily specials of cod and seabass, both were cooked beautifully and came with generous amount of vegetables. A lovely little restaurant with a very warm welcome and authentic Italian cuisine. I will definitely return.

Had the liver and mushroom starter which was lovely. Followed by meatballs with a mac and cheese topping which was huge...tasty but maybe lacking a bit in seasoning and flavour

We had not been for a very long time we went one Saturday lunchtime the staff were very lovely. The food was absolutely delicious all cooked lovely we will be going back again soon.

One the the best restaurants in Bedford!We have been customers of this restaurant over many years, this long established Italian venue is nicely decorated with a nice cosy ambient feel and not too noisy if you like to talk over dinner, the food is 100% amazing! One of my favourite dishes on the menu is the fillet steak with peppercorn sauce, my wifes favourite is crab linguine which he says is exceptional...The service is always on point with halil the owner always going out of his way to make you feel comfortable and at home.I highly recommend this place!

Amazing food and ambiance

Lovely pasta, had the aubergine and mozzarella pasta as well as the crab linguine which were both great. The homemade tiramisu was delicious. Cosy atmosphere in the restaurant for dinner.

My partner and I visited yesterday evening and were amazed at not only the quality of food, but also the service. We had tartufo limoncello (like a frozen ice creamand homemade cheesecake for dessert. The best cheesecake in town! I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment.Staff very friendly

A party of nine! We were well catered for. Be the food was hot and tasty and brought out to us at the same time which was great.The team were lovely and looked after us all night. I really hate giving bad reviews so was considering not posting this, however my husband and I were both quite sick after eating here tonight. My husband had the crab pasta, I had the salmon pasta. I have been up most of night with a terrible stomach ache, very disappointed especially due to great reviews food was mediocre and expensive, especially as it made us both sick.

Most wonderful atmosphere and all the staff spoke to us as though we were friends, it was a unique and comforting experience all around, nothing but love for this place <3

Visited Amici to celebrate my lady wife’s birthday with our son and his Fiancé, it was our 1st visit l but definitely won’t be our last !!The service was excellent and un-rushed. The food was excellent, well presented and good value.Yeah, we’ll be back for sure.

I dont say this lightly but this is hands down the best Italian I have ever had. The food is absolutely to die for. We had starters mains & desserts and all of then were exceptional. The staff were brilliant too and its always nice when an owner actually cares how your meal was. Theres no doubt well be back

Starters are expensive, like many places they put the prices for starters up and you get a bigger plate of food to justify this, so its almost like a main course. Seafood linguine was very good. Enjoyed our dinner here and would visit again. Good service as well.

What a fantastic little restaurant the staff are attentive but not intrusive and very friendly. The food was amazing we had the Hot Amici sharing platter everything was so good, we then had Saltimbocca and spinach and ricotta ravioli with seafood. I can’t tell you how good the food was everything cooked perfectly and so tasty! Will definitely be coming back here!

Absolutely delicious food! I really enjoyed our pasta. And the staff are so warm and accommodating. My son has several allergies and they made a special dish for him which he loved, he was practically slurping it up. If you’re looking for any non-alcoholic drinks definitely ask for a lemonade, it’s not on the menu but they can make you a unique fresh glass - perfect on a hot day like today!

They like to put the customer in the back so it looks a bit empty on the front, but worry not, excellent food and friendly staff. Need better WiFi for the card machine though 😉

Lovely atmosphere,great food and amazing service. Really welcoming and friendly. Cant fault it at all. Looks small when you walk past it but has larger area out the back. Will definitely go again. Waitress was amazing and food was gorgeous

Beautiful little restaurant within the town centre! We went for dinner when we had to sit outside but the outside was made to feel so comfy with heaters and lights all around! The food was delicious especially the meatballs! Highly recommended!

We had a lovely meal from Amici. Very well cooked, extremely tasty & lovely staff. They even worked around my fairly severe food sensitivities. We picked up our meal as restaurants are still closed due to Covid. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant. My parents will be back & hopefully I will be too when Im visiting again.Top tip: if you order using their form on their website & pick up your food, the restaurant doesnt have to pay 20-30% to Deliveroo etc.

We ordered take-away last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the second one in lockdown! We decided to treat ourselves to a meal from Amici. The process was easy, via Deliveroo, and the menu was difficult to choose from there were so many delicious dishes. When the food arrived, it was beautifully presented, and was absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend this independent restaurant.

I have ordered food from Amici on a number of occasions over all the lockdowns, and have to say each and every time the food has been exceptional; its a true taste of freshly prepared Italian food thats both delicious and fairly priced.The restaurant also has a maximum food safety rating so you can be sure of the quality of the food and its preparation.I cant recommend Amici highly enough, if you really love Italian / Mediterranean food youll love Amici.

Great Italian food and very welcoming staff. We had the veal, the crab linguine and the meatball pasta bake. All were delicious and well be going back to try more dishes when we can.

Due to the Eat Out To Help Out Scheme I decided to try a new restaurant and Amici was a great choice! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and wouldn’t improve much except the portion size!! The staff were attentive and very friendly with a warm atmosphere in the restaurant. There was a slight mix up with a starter due to miscommunication, however, this was corrected very quickly with no hassle whatsoever. The staff brought our food and drink very quickly after ordering, with no waiting around. I’ve seen the September lunch menu so I’ll definitely be returning to try that!

Wow, awesome service and somehow even better food. The small seating area was packed at 7 with no open tables. Totally going back here.

Busy Italian restaurant when we went in on a Tuesday evening. Prices are fair for the quality of the food. Staff were very friendly and efficient. No kids cutlery or menu but they will happily split a main between two kids for you. Kids loved the gelato for desert. The Tartufo Classico (like a frozen icecream Ferrero Rocherwas lovely. Service not included. Would definitely recommend and return.

My son and I went to Amici for Mothers Day. The food is always amazing with a wide selection of various dishes on the menu, hence we keep coming back regularly. I highly recommend this place!
