American Airlines Admirals Club, Terminal D - Club in Euless, United States
Included with 1st class ticket. I enjoyed the free drinks, food and wifi. Highly recommend.
Visited in mid-November and paid a premium to experience the Flagship DIning service. Entered the Flagship lounge and told the dining service was closed due to a plumbing problem. We could stay but needed to go to the Admirals lounge for food. We walked to the Admirals lounge next door and got some food. Instead of elevated sit down service, chef prepared dishes, and exclusive wines, we had make-your-own tacos. First world problems, I guess. We took our food back to the Flagship lounge and were stopped... told we could not bring THEIR food inside. So no food provided inside and no food from where they had food. Just mindless gatekeepers reiterating all the things they cannot provide.
I always love the Admirals Club as a much cherished space between flights to recharge both my phone & myself. This one in DFW Airport was even extra special w lots of space and a credit card operated food machine right by the entrance. Peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, yay!
Views at the location near gate D23 are superior to those in the Amex Centurion lounge. Lounge was not busy on Thanksgiving morning. Wifi worked fine. Seating was comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Bar does not open until 7am but there was hot food & coffee.
The D23 Admirals lounge is pretty big, but gets crowded quickly. Not a lot of private areas for working, but still a very nice lounge.
Nice staff. The facilities are fun like cafeterias and could really go for a deep cleaning and renovation.
The Admirals Club provides a nice respite from the noise and crowds at the airport. It is a good place to work in between flights and good for a quick snack/small plate.
It truly is as advertised. It is an Oasis in the midst of chaos. I was traveling back from Mexico City and had a two hour layover. I had a couple of beers and the food was delicious. What made it such a respite, though, was that it was pretty full, but quite for the amount of people. I wish I would have taken some pics of the food and the sitting areas.
Service and amenities were 5 stars. The snack and meal choices were quite nice. There is a place to work in a cubicle. Additionally, members have access to showers and a bar.
Its a good place to relax and hang out if you have a few hours before your flight. Wi-Fi is strong & reliable. The food is decent, not great. It is very clean. I think its really only worth the $59 price tag if you plan to spend a whole work days worth of hours in there. Alcoholic drinks & the menu food items are not included in the price.
Staff was wonerful and courteous, lounge area could use little tlc, but otherwise nice and comfortable. Breakfast food was tasty and plentiful.
Bathrooms were down for a couple hours. Still were not repaired before I left. Probably not a good start for the Admiral Club team. Know it will be better next visit.
The low end of airline clubs. Front desk disorganized and service like newbies on the job. Food taste and choice aweful. Setting arrangements very poor. Saw two staff members drop a untensil on the ground and gave it to a customer, very bad. Buyer beware.
Quieter spot outside of the main thoroughfare of people. Worth the membership fee if you travel more than once or twice a year for unfettered access to chargers, workspace, snacks, light refreshments (soup, salad, treats, etcand a full bar.
Not the most comfortable seating and the free food was pretty sparse and bad. They apparently want you to buy better. Cant believe the regular seating out on the concourse was more comfortable. The Admirals Club was quiet and you could charge your phone. Meh.
Always clean and nice. Didnt have time for much of a visit. But the handmade guacamole is always a hit
We got to the Admirals lounge just after it opened. It was very nice and quiet. Limited selections for food and still much better than the past two years when the clubs were shut down.
The club in terminal C needs an update. The facilities are old, which is not a bad thing if its maintained. Unfortunately these areas were not something AA should be proud of. The bathroom was borderline for a fast food restaurant.Im not trying to be harsh, but AA needs to take some pride in the service they are providing here.Terminal D is much better. Dont waste your time in the Terminal C club, its pretty disgusting and you might be better spending your money at an establishment out in the concourse.
Nice as usual, but after being absent for more than 3 years, i noticed less service and goods. No apple juice, hot soup...simple things.Nevertheless i appreciate the effort.
Clean and remodeled. I had some good food there and the wait staff is excellent. They asked me if I needed anything and very professional
It was ok but it would be nice if they had more food than those same tired tacos. The espresso was nice though.
Good service to and from Dallas. Plenty of legroom in Premium Economy.
This Admirals Club maintained better cleanliness then I have experienced in past visits. The food was pretty good and I was glad to see some healthier options added. There was a delay on keeping it available. The noise level was quite high so concentrating on getting work done was difficult but overall a positive experience.
Spacious with a lot of people but did not seem crowded. Food was good, say 3 stars. Well worth the cost for a 4 hour layover. We were refused admission at the location on out terminal because it was too small. That wouldve been a better location.
Fabulous food excellent service!
I went to the one in Terminal D, which is the biggest in DFW. The lounge is very good with unlimited drinks and snacks. Seats are wide and comfortable. It has a great view of the runway and you could see flights taking off and land. Staff is friendly. Highly recommended.
Well theres free drinks, phone charging stations everywhere and free food. The free stuff isnt the highest quality, but its free. Ill appreciate that any day. This week is tacos.
Was a great place to spend our 2.5 hour layover in Dallas. We enjoyed some food, and drinks while we relaxed. Would definitely do it again for a long layover when flying.
Clean, decent food. Some management team was touring the facility and completely blocking the food and drinks. It was busy. Maybe do inspections during slow times or tour with a smaller group. Membership is too expensive and we dont always have time to wait between flights. Redeeming situation was staff attempts to help with my messed up ticket.
This Alaska trip was my 1st experience with the admirals clubs & it had its ups and its huge let downs. For the most part the club is well put together with lovely pieces of art and some delicious foods to snack on and comfy areas to relax while you wait. I had 3 connecting cities and almost 60hrs in commute between my travel to and from my destinations Florida to Alaska for my Solo travel.I enjoyed the areas but I did not enjoy the attitudes of some of the staff especially in regards to handling my disabilities needs. Chicago was the worst- Dallas club staff accidentally used both passes first trip up so when I flew home they said I had none. They basically accused me of giving the 2nd pass to someone to use with me in Dallas. I said handicap porter brought me from the flight in Dallas to lounge everyone in lounge has pass and im traveling solo who would i give it too im happily married. They just kept saying people do it, people do and Im like well Im not one of them. It was insulting. Took forever to get fixed and said id have to go through same thing in connecting city with supervisor instead of noting and fixing it. Someone made an error but i was treated like I was trying to pull a fast one. Someone made a simply error and cost me a huge headache
I love this lounge. Great place to spend time before the flight, relax, take a shower and prepare for you flight. The restaurant is serves varied, delicious food with style.
We had a one day pass. AYCE. Very clean. Workers are very friendly
This club was remodeled a year or so ago and its pretty nice. This was the terminal D club in DFW airport. I think this was the first time I have had a hot meal in a club run by a US carrier. Still not nearly as nice as the Korean airlines clubs and other non-us airline clubs. But it was clean and comfortable and quiet.
Got there early and it wasnt crowded at all. There was avocado toast being made fresh and a build your own scrambled egg breakfast. Got a mimosa and the bartender was a heavy pour! It was a great way to sit and wait for the next flight.
Nice place to stay in between flights. Maybe crowded at times. But can always find a good seat. Foods OK, help you stay on diet as long as you stay away from the sweet stuff. Bar is excellent, most drinks are FREE, need very good self control to stay sober. Service is great, only open till 10:15. Flight is delayed till 11:45pm. Oh well...
I like it! But one time, they did put out the sign they could not accept military or one-day passes at the time. That really sucks if you have a pass; they are expensive, but all well.I love the bathrooms and the food 😋And the couches are comfy 😌And they have work station areas for ur laptop 💻
Friendly. Had an availability for military this visit. Thank you. Great food (breakfast items). Very attentive staff. Relaxing environment. Clean. Bright. Nice view of airport. Good place to relax, read, or work on business.
Ok, this was my first time in an Admirals club so maybe I dont know anything but I really liked it. The food wasnt outstanding but it was decent and there were several simple options. The bar, which I believe was a cash (meaning not freebar seemed well stocked and nicer food was available for purchase (PB&J sandwich was $6 if I remember correctly)
AA Admirals club Terminal D is really nice after recent renovations - it is definitely one of the two best at DFW with Terminal C maybe edging out as better. It is spacious and nice but could use some of the finer details in maintenance improved to truly make it a first class experience
Its very nice to be able spend waiting time in such a nice place between flights. AA has thought of most everything that would make traveling more enjoyable and provides its. From showers and nice restrooms to charging stations and healthy snacks its all here. The one element missing these days though is SPACE because too many people now have access to these clubs. It was super crowded this day and the reason was NOT social distancing between chairs - they are side by side by side all over. No longer a very exclusive place really.
Im not sure of this is the one in terminal E but it is a much smaller one than the other one in this same airport (which is huge). Maybe because of the time, but it never was crowded the two different days I visited during my trip, which is nice. The food was the usual for a lounge and the staff were friendly.
The food is okay although slim pickings. The bartender is very friendly and the cocktails are nice. The concierge at the front is nice as well very friendly. The atmosphere is shabby though and needs to be updated. However I found my seat to be quite comfortable and it has a nice view of the flight line operations.
The lounge was nice a little small but it has a decent view and a pool for those who have plenty of time before their flight and wanted to past time
Peaceful and quiet this Sunday afternoon. Having a nice cup of Earl Grey while watching the planes. Healthy options for a light lunch.
This is an amazing place. Admiral Club from DFW Airport, Terminal D. Good place to take a good rest while you wait for the next flight. It has its different areas where you can simply enjoy its view when you see the different planes leave, you can rest and even sleep for a while, you can benefit from its food bar at any time, among others. Even their bathrooms are spotlessly clean. The only thing I did not like today 11/11/21 was a supervisor in the area where the food is served, because I alerted her to something that a client did for her to take action on it and she proceeded to change me the look without even saying thank you. Then about two minutes later she began to give instructions to one of the employees in a very harsh way without caring about the people who were listening. I then told the employee not to feel bad, because she who is the supervisor should have more manners, education and professionalism to have the position that she occupies while maintaining discretion. sympathy and good manners for employees and customers in general. I couldnt get her full name, but they call her Linda. If she cant do a good job with customer service, let her remove herself, she has no right to humiliate anyone, least of all publicly.
Great atmosphere. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of comfortable seating. Wide variety of food offerings. Incredible views of incredible airplanes
The day pass is $59. This includes WiFi. The restroom is nice and they do include showers. Once upon a time I really thought about purchasing the membership, but for $650.. I dont travel as often to really take advantage of it. They have unlimited coffee, tea, soft drinks, bar mix, soup of the day, salad, cookies and rice crispy treats. The only complimentary beer is Miller lite. For the price versus the experience... Id rather go to another restaurant and spend my money. I was rather disappointed with it this time.
Traveling during COVID is scary and even more so with kids in tow. I wanted to share some videos and pics in the hopes to ease some of your fears...Lounge is immaculate as always; hand sanitizers everywhere through your airport and here’s a quick bullet list foe the Lounge in D:-they offer plastic gloves 🧤 for guests (right where food is)-everything is individually wrapped (utensils and food)- they had an avocado toast area but this time, there’s bacon, salmon, eggs etc offered! Definitely more robust than the reg guacamole!-rest rooms CLEAN
I had a quick stopover here on the way to Mexico. Quiet and spacious first lounge. Nice selection of warm foods, with Chinese touch. The place feels fresh, it’s probably recently renovated or opened. It also has a full-service dining room, but they told me it only opens at 14:00.
I love the Admirals Club, they have decent food, great coffee, fruit, yogurt, cookies, honestly too much to list. Avocado toast! All complimentary to their members. This definitely makes up for not being upgraded to first class. Lol.I love the newly redesigned clubs with showers and resting lounges.
