An absolutely fabulous 30th Birthday celebration. Food gorgeous, very friendly attentive staff, reasonably priced. We plan on going back. Lovely location too, by the marina.

My husband and I went for an anniversary meal on Saturday evening, the food was excellent, lovely atmosphere the service was very good, James our waiter was very attentive . Would recommend Ambiente Tapas

Food was amazing! Brocoli, goats cheese, cauliflower, patatas bravas and the bread and olives were lovely! Would 100% come back again. Interior was pretty and modern and the staff were lovely. Will be coming back for more :)

Food is brilliant. Staff friendly and efficient. Location and ambience fantastic. Great with a larger group so you can try more of the delicious dishes.

The food was fantastic and the service even better. 👌Staff were very helpful without being overbearing and the general atmosphere was very warm.Despite it being a very busy night our food came quickly and in an appropriate order.Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice night out in Hull.Try the sangria! 😁

Had an amazing night tonight, our waiter James completely put us at ease, the food was absolutely delicious and well presented, James was amazing ensuring we had a nice table in a quiet area on such a busy night, thank you for you’re service and making sure our night was nothing but exceptional 🥰

The choritzo y patatas was some of the best food Ive ever had.We were served a nice gentleman called James, when he heard that we enjoyed the chorizo he even asked the chef for the recipe.This is my new favourite restaurant in Hull.

Lovely tapas, quiet when we visited at about 5 o clock. Bread to start with some lovely oil and balsamic vinegar and an aioli. We all shared about 12 dishes between the four of us. Two adults and two teenagers. We had more than enough. The vegetarian dishes were especially excellent. Service was very good.

This place gets a lot of good reviews however in our experience it was just okay. We had bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar as an appetizer,bread was okay however there was way way too much oil and not enough balsamic. We had dates stuffed with cheese wrapped in bacon which was good, meatballs were small and dry but the empanada wasnt Spanish at all. Minced slop wrapped in filo pastry,truely awful. Staff said its a Yorkshire twist, sorry but keep it Spanish,much nicer. Serving staff friendly. They only take card payment and add on the service charge. We love tapas but are a bit reluctant to visit here again.

Wow! The food in here was absolutely brilliant! Superb flavours and really fair prices! We had 8 of the tapas dishes and all were delish! Staff were friendly and helpful, vibe in the place was great and its a beautiful place.

Food is so nice here!Really flavourful selection of great food and a really friendly atmosphere.It is quite tucked away and we struggled to find it, so make sure you’re keeping a look out as you walk down the street!The service was very friendly but quite slow and they were only about 2/3rds full when we were there. They seemed to gather around the bar a lot when you were needing to order more food/drinks.A lovely little find in Hull though and would definitely recommend

Such amazing food. Decent portions too so dont over order! We ordered 3 each and we would have been fine with 4 or 5 between us.Great service. Clean place. Nice staff. Great venue. Definitely recommend.

Unfortunately Ive revisited this venue a few times and at every experience something has been amiss. From slow service to missing dishes or served incorrectly. Ive never found the staff to handle criticism or issues very well. There are far better tapas restaurants around for the money. A real shame, as the venue itself is beautiful. Style over quality, sadly.

I came for Tapas with friends. The food was great for both meat & vegan options. We were made to feel so welcome & our waiter Sam was one of the best in town.

Great standard of Tapas any time. . the chefs really pack the flavours in. Good wine list. Place has a lively vibe and in the middle of the iconic Fruit Market. Sometimes a bit noisy but the booths work well. Efficient service and very nice staff

This was my first adventure in to the world of Tapas, I wasnt sure what to expect but the whole experience was amazing. I was there in a party of 11 on a quite Tuesday night, we were soon seated and drinks were ordered. Soon after, the starters arrived, followed shortly after by plate after plate of main courses and two huge Paellas. The food was fantastic, the ambience was perfect, the service was impecable. All in all a faultless experience and a wonderful night..

Went there for my birthday. We pre booked the table and was going to be a bit late. Rang the restaurant who was brilliant and told me not to worry and pushed our time back. When we arrived the staff were fantastic and the food was amazing. Thank you ambience we will be back soon.

Lovely decoration and the food was great but our favourite thing about the experience was the service... James was our table waiter and he was absolutely fantastic! So polite, friendly & accommodating, he also made lovely reccomendations which were helpful since wed never dined at a tapas before. Aside from obligatory standards he really went the extra mile to make our evening special & memorable.

If it hadnt been for the 30 minute wait for drinks it would have been five stars.Lovely food with great vegan options. Friendly staff. It just took far too long to get our drink order. The seaweed on the artichoke hearts made up for it, though.

Good but not grest.The service team was excellent,the Mediterranean salad was wonderul, the drinks were on point, by everything else has faded away.It just didnt stand out as a meal.I will give it another shot though. Ill be trying other menu items

Loved the food, really large portions for Tapas aswell, we thought 5-6 plates was more than enough for 2 to share.The staff are all polite and full of smiles, really good atmosphere also.You have a option to leave a 10% tip which is insane! They work their butts of and deserve more.See you again and would recommend going 👌, we loved the Chirizo plate.Thankyou for making my wifes Birthday enjoyable.

Amazing food and atmosphere, would highly recommend if youre looking for a more high end meal out. Everything we ordered was perfect, would definitely go back. Only downside is some items came out much later than others, if wed have known we might have swapped those out. Other than that, amazing!

We’ve been here a couple times now and it’s always a pleasant experience. We were served by Holly every time and she always takes great care of us and is very friendly! The sea bass and artichoke hearts are very nice. The only improvement I would recommend is the prawns are very heavily battered and it seems a shame! But overall a very nice restaurant.

Good tapas and sangria. The Iberico pork and calcot special were particularly good.

Great food and atmosphere. It was my first visit in Feb 2022 and we absolutely loved it. Will definitely visit again when we return to Hull.

Hulls best tapas! Came here for a late booking and was impressed from start to finish by both the staff and the quality of food. The staff are very welcoming, the menu is exciting and each item comes out fresh as its ready which adds to the enjoyable experience. The basque cheesecake was beyond delicious and I cant wait to return to try it again.

We loved this place! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was incredible. There is great choice of meat/fish and veggie tapas. The sherry flight was an interesting twist and one that the staff were very knowledgeable about and were able to guide our selection of.

A lovely tapas restaurant, food was excellent and staff really helpful and friendly. Sherry is not really our thing but was an experience and the staff were brilliant finding one we both liked. Prices very reasonable and good size portions for tapas.Overall a great place, great location, fantastic staff.

Stopped here for lunch today and so glad we did! Wed had a big breakfast so the tapas size portions were perfect. Had the Calamares, herbed chicken & chorizo, Basque sausage, green beans followed by the chocolate orange brownie. Everything was delicious. Along with the friendly , helpful staff this made the meal a delight. No hesitation in recommending and well be back. Thank you to all the staff!! X

Lovely Staff, great atmosphere and great food. The only down side is very small portions and limited variety but otherwise a great night.

Everything was a perfect mix of flavours except for the shrimps that were a bit bland. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.

We were a group of 6. The food was delicious, best tapas Ive had in England. The app to order food and drinks was terrible if it wasnt for the manager we would have left the restaurant without ordering and gone elsewhere, the waitresses were very unhelpful.We werent the only customers complaining and other potential customers walked out. Also beware of the service charge automatically added to your bill everytime you order !!!

For a lunchtime on a Monday this place had atmosphere! Sitting in a booth gave us privacy and space whilst enjoying the background noise of other diners chatting and eating. The food was exquisite - needless to say I left full - plenty to choose from, especially for vegetarians. A wide range of food dishes and drinks, but not overwhelming. Becky and Kirsty were very attentive, friendly and answered all our questions as newbies to Ambiente! Sterling job all around, would thoroughly recommend!

Brilliant authentic tapas barLovely food, atmosphere & staff. Outside tables and a great looking building. Reasonably priced too.Just been again tonight, it was all you can eat buffet for £10 per person. We had a fab selection of tapas with a litre of white sangria which was just 15 quid extra.They have had a bad experience with old chefs which they replaced. Their food hygiene rating is 4 out of 5 now. Great staff and atmosphere. Massive selection of sherry and ports. Wines start at 15 quid so not bad price wise. Well worth a visit.
