No reception desk, room without a window. A place to be avoided! Unfortunately, I cannot give less than one star, otherwise I would!!

Central location, clean and comfortable..

Me and my boyfriend had really great experience with this hotel. It was strange that theres no receptionist but everything went really smooth. Still, I missed some friendly welcoming face.Food was VERY delicious. Especially with this view.There was few things that I think they can do better, but overall- Highly recommended 👌🏻

Location beats everything. 100% self check in so noone there. Good breakfast and very good restaurant in the ground floor

Great Location in the old town center. Theres no reception or desk, you have to address everything online via WhatsApp. Room was very nice and clean. Clearly the attached restaurant with the tasty and broad breakfast and the marvelous staff made it for me. So check them out!

Good hotel and nice place

Issues with self-check in. We received wrong password to wrong room. We spent more than 30 mins standing at the wrong room door waiting for hotel to resolve, they did not call proactively if they fixed it, 2 hotel numbers were not responsive, we called 11 times and spoke with 3 people until they fixed it. Small parking available, max 6-7 slots, you should book it in advance.

There is no front desk or reception, the breakfast buffet is decent but the carpet in all of the rooms is dusty and leaves a lot to be desired. They have free scooters to borrow from the lobby which is nice but overall there are many better choices in the area for not much more per night. The views from the rooms are nice but not worth the lack of staff in my opinion.

Booked 7 rooms, one suite - most outdated, smelly with mucus stains on curtains, yellow stains on carpets.Suite had the smallest bathroom I have seen for some time.No customer service whatsoever, promised at least few rooms earlier but left my guests waiting.I have been offered next free stay if I remove the reviews - I chose to keep it for everybody to see and I dont want to come back there ever!

Very friendly staff rooms are spacious most of them consists of two bedrooms. American tv channels available totally recommended!

We had two rooms, one single and then a room with a cathedral view. Both booked via booking.com. Received confirmation via the app and set up prepay authorisation. Single room was free cancellation up to 3 days prior to arriving. The cathedral room paid in full. There is no physical reception, all doors are electronic keycode which is texted to you on the day of arrival, pre check in time. You can also call/message via WhatsApp and responses are very quick. Also via booking.com app. There are 4 floors to the hotel with a lift. Rooms are clean, modern and presentable as of May 2022. The Cathedral room carpet was in need of a clean, but thats due to visitors not taking their shoes off at the door. Single room has minibar fridge, TV, phone and numerous power sockets. There was a window looking into a rear courtyard. The Cathedral room is huge, modern with an insane view. Beds are quite soft, bathrooms are clean enough however the bubble jets are not cleaned. Make sure you run the bath, run the jets and then refill. The restaurant downstairs is very very expensive for evening meals so didnt bother. There is disabled access. Some things need addressing for it to be a true 4 star hotel worth its price. For its location, price and surroundings I would recommend it here.

Good points: Double room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was OK but high step into shower over bath that might be difficult for some.Areas to improve: No receptionist in hotel lobby!! You have to call or email to pay City tax to then find out your room number and code to get into your room. It took me over an hour to sort this out. There is no phone in the lobby to help you either. The receptionist is hidden away behind a closed door in a room on the ground floor. There are no staff after hours.Music played in foyer isnt turned off at night so it is a constant background noise even at night.

Its a bit weird the hotel doesnt have a reception. Everything is done online.We arrived early, so wanted to leave our luggage in the storage room, but there was no one to open it. I tried to call the number provided, so it took good half an hour for someone to answer.Breakfast was fantastic with great view!

Hotel in front of cathedral square convintiently positioned in old town. Modern luxurious and clean rooms and quite spacious too. Breakfast is of high quality. Beware of the interior rooms which have NO window and no view and are very dark. These are cheaper priced but u need to use the air con ventilation (which is ok by the way). Recommended

It is a petty that no reception everything via remote phone. Housekeeping is very friendly. Large rooms are great in size.Unfortunately, the hotel would require a refresher. Rwtauranunt within the hotel swanks between excellent and ok. Some staff at the restaurant are very good but some extreme unpolite and even rude. Mix thoughts after the stay. For the price, its mostly a good choice and recommendable.

The location of the hotel is perfect, very close to the cathedral and to gedemino street. In general the hotel is not that bad, however two things bothered me.The first one is that there is no reception. You get an email right before the check-in with the code to your room, and if you have problems with it, there is a phone number to where you can call anytime. It would save some trouble if this thing was mentioned while doing the booking.The second thing, that really bothered me is the noise from a club near or in the hotel (I dont know where it is exactly). Our room was in the first floor and the noise was heard through the whole night.

You check in online. First, you need to phone a number to get a room code. In theory, no problem but in practice all lines were busy. Gave up and walked the short distance to Congress Hotel

The details of the room I stayed in is very nice. I would stay here again.

First night stay was perfect but on the second they had water leak and it was very noisy from 5am. Contacted reception was told someone will contact me for a discount but never happened.

I already stayed here few years ago as hotel (5*and now came back for restaurant..the view is spectacular and the atmosphere is different and very elegant. Worth a visit, food is in the healthy/international side but wasnt the most important reason for the visit

I was expecting a way more from 4*. Apart from good location and not so bad breakfast, the rest is rather poor.Luckily I got a room with a window, but unfortunately you can see nothing only a wall thru this.Extremely soft mattress- unconfy, smelly room but the worst is horrible noise: you can hear everything from the corridor and upstairs early in the morning.Be aware of unpleasant, skinny lady at the breakfast - she may really make your day.

I’m putting 2 stars for location only. This hotel was booked by the company as we were here for business. Rooms are terrible- one of if with smell in a room, old flazzed furniture. Amberton group reduced the reception ( you can get in only with pin code so you can chance to solve all your problems by phone only. The room was changed to another with terrible smell in bathroom. Hotel has another part with renovated modern rooms ( same price), but reception was not able to help with changing . Moreover , Booking is offering cheaper price than straight contract with business partners. Vilnius has plenty of modern and clean hotels with comfortable parking in center, so don’t choose this hotel for your nice stay or business meetings, because you never know what kind of room you will get.

I advise not to deal with staff member Giedre Ramonaite, rude , arrogant and not professional. Pity what such a nice hotel keeping staff like her. I am such disappointed.

Nice hotel and very affordable rate for the location. The restaurant has the best view on the Cathedral.Because of Covid it’s hard to find the staff (no reception deskbut they answer to the phone right away and are very helpful:they took care of our luggage, and printed some documents for us

It was the worst hotel. There was no soundproofing, so I could hear all the calls from the next room, the cathedral bells ringing every 15 minutes, and the music from the club every weekend. When I asked for cleaning, the cleaning status was not good either. The smell of cigarettes came in through the bathroom fan so I had to ventilate the room frequently. The staff was very unfriendly, and I had to contact them through Whatsapp or calls because there is no reception desk. However, the food and location were really great.

An excellent location!!! I can see the main square (with the Christmas treeform my window. The room is neet and tidy. Furnishings are quite old...hot water always and a bath

It’s a dormitory not a hotel. Sound isolation not existing and you can hear a lot of noise from the hallway and neighbours. Inside needs renovation.

Atrium view rooms are basically shoeboxes with no fresh air or privacy. The personnel is friendly but good luck with finding them.Good location and breakfasts though.

No reception because of corona? Why do other hotels have receptions then?When asking in the hotel restaurant about how to order a taxi, the rude answer was “huh, we are separate from the hotel, we don’t provide information about that”. Separate from the hotel? Yeah, right, but hotel breakfast IS served in the same hotel.And why didn’t they clean my room? Is that also not COVID proof?

We wanted to spend our wedding eve.6 days and 5 days earlier we visited and a woman helpt us, thanks for that. We wanted a room and she said it is avaliable and book via internet. We booked via booking.com and wrote a note.2 days earlier I wanted to call for double check. They said all good.When the day arrived and we were about to go the hotel. They called us and said theyve given that room another guests for the weekend. 😡😡 My wife cried lot and nth is changed!! What kind of professionalism you have!!! And yes you sent our money back which you had too, but what the heck was that!??

Nice stay. A bit of a maze inside, as is an old building converted to hotel. Perfect location, good choice in breakfast. Plus: fresh orange juice is a nice touch! Clean- perfect at start of your stay, but due to COVID there is no staff inside for cleaning during stay- just after you leave, not a problem for short stays, but I dont know how is working on a longer stay

Unbeatable location! Right in the heart of the city, with amazing views from the hotel. I liked as well the breakfast, highlighting the fresh natural juice and the variety! Very convenient as well the free available scooters.

Worn off, batteries of remote control did not work, asked for a room to the view to Cathedral, paid extra for better room and received in other corner nevetheless the hotel is almost empty. Worse than Artagonist, Congress Avenue, Mariott.

Great hotel, very good service. Clean, well kept. We had probably the worst room in the hotel (with beautiful views of the lift loland we were still happy. Will definetly visit again.

2 stars only for the view and still the size of the window is too small. no parking provided, no information about booking a place in their parking lot and still, to pay 18€ for parking in “4 star” hotel?! Excuse me but it is so not worth. Next morning we didn’t have hot water so the old guy came, tried to fix it and simply left. Thank you for a cold shower and zero sulutions. The receptionists are rude, impolite and lack of knowledge. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Plus once they forgot my family’s friends wedding dinner. I wouldn’t be surprised why.

This hotel is located in the heart of old town so pretty much all attractions are within walking distance.It’s not fancy but very clean, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was good. I will define stay here again. 👍👍👍

Perfect location, friendly staff and great breakfast! Many cafés, restaurants and shops are nearby.I stayed here for 1 night during my business trip this November, but I will definitely come back for a longer stay during my next holidays.I can recommend this hotel for everyone who evaluates comfort, silence and good service!P.S. I was really surprised that guests at Amberton Cathedral Square Hotel Vilnius can use electric scooters for free! :)

This is a review of the hotel rescue rather than the hotel itself. It was a nice posh restaurant we popped in for tea today. The place was not that busy so it was ideal for a break from all the walking we did. The cheesecake was brilliant and was a delight to look at. The olives though didnt taste nice at all. The staff were nice and the experience was ok..

Very nice hotel close to the Cathedral in Vilnius. Good location between the old town and the more modern part of the City. Nice and clean rooms, good service, and friendly and helpful staff. Good food in restaurant. Recommended.

This hotel must be among the best hotels I ever stayed in. The main benefit of this hotel is the location. It is placed at the main cathedral square, where the Christmas market is. The rooms themselves are very good and nicely designed, the breakfast is very good and tasty, and overall this is a great place to stay in Vilnius. Very much recommended!! You should stay here!

Great location, price, environment and service. If you lucky room with a view of Vilnius Cathedral can be yours. Rooms are large and well equipped, quiet sleep is guaranteed. Restaurant in the Hotel delivers good quality, and have big windows to enjoy the view of Vilnius.

Spacious rooms in the center of Vilnius! A hotel in a perfect location and a highly respected restaurant with Lithuanian and international cuisine. The staff is prepared and quick. We had excellent lunches and dinners at Sodaragio Sodas Restaurant Both indoors and outdoors. I recommend it 100%!

Location is great. Was lucky to get a room with a nice view. But there was nothing else I liked about the place. Room smelled like cigarette smoke, old furniture, bathroom needs a renovation and they charge for everything even the tea thats in the room. We asked for a taxi at the reception for early morning ride to the airport and that was not taken care of. Overall very dissapointed with the hotel. It only looks nice from the outside.

Hotel is located in front of Cathedral square - good access to Lower Castle, Gediminas tower, semi-pedestrial Gediminas street and Vilnius Old Town, Presidents Palace and old Vilnius University buildings. Spacious lobby, nice view from restaurant window. Good breakfast selection. Rooms are clean, friendly staff. Decent rates for rooms.

This hotel is in the centre of Vilnius, walkable distance to pretty much everything if the weather is not raining heavily. The rooms are cozy with relaxed sphere. The staff friendly and helped a lot with information.

Nice hotel in the middle of downtown. Some rooms are upscale while others are in need of updating. My shower leaked and soaked the carpet outside the bathroom. Luckily I was only spending one night. Great views out the balconies.

The staff is very courteous and willing to help. My card somehow got deactivated and within seconds of notifying the staff I had a new, working one. The view from the room I am in is absolutely beautiful, you can see the cathedral square and the wooded hills in the distance.

Nice hotel, with great location and excellent restaurant. The breakfast was outstanding: Lithuanian breakfasts tended to sustain us well into the evening :). Also, they have a tiny parking lot in the basement, which you enter by taking a tiny car elevator, testing your precision driving skills.

A beautiful hotel with a fantastic location. My images of the bell tower are from the front steps and from our room window we had the same view. We stayed 3 nights in July of 2016 and while the place is a little dated it is kept clean and attractive. Breakfast buffet was very good with a nice variety of foods to choose from. We would definitely stay here again. From here its a very short walk to so many of the attractions of Vilnius.
