Amber Room in Warsaw

High-end restaurant located in a beautiful XIX century palace. It is fine dining place with a talented chef. Dishes are well composed and quite tasty. The only, but serious drawback is the service and workflow. Soup has been served cold. Waiters did not offer any wine, and once asked forgot to bring the menu (the place was 70% empty, so there was no rush). We had a tasting menu. In every restaurant I tried such dinner (quite a few), waiters service was very engaged, described the dishes with true engagement and served some small things in between. In Amber Room we got exactly and only the dishes in the menu, waiters not always described the dishes, there was no alcohol pairing offer. Although the dishes tasted good, all in all it was the worst tasting menu experience I have had so far.Last but not least the prices. I don’t mind expensive dining, when it is justified. But 100$ for small glass of Spanish Cava for the pack of four, glass of regular red wine for two, two teas and bottle of water seems little overpriced.

Amber room was one of rhe best dining experiences in Warsaw. Excellent food and service with authentic delicacy.

Food is ok, service made big mistakes. Wine was not served on time (when ordered tasting menu with wine its mandatory i would say), and some more things were missing. staff is not able to answer simple questions regarding the menu.

Food is extremely nice, the place is fancy, the only problem is the waiter. He asked me if I want to have some drink, and he recommended me a glass of white wine, I accepted. When I check the bill, the white wine is 67 PLN, I am not happy because it is quite expensive and he did not tell me. I can afford the wine, but I dont like people play a little game with me; its about the ethic problem. In summary, this restaurant only ”looks good.”

I ordered the beef tartare and the monkfish. They were delicious!Complimentary are the taste opening tiny dish of a ball of foie gras; and the passion fruit sorbet to cleanse between starter and main course.

Its located in the very quiet and nice town.The atmosphere is quiet elegant and friendly.The servers have their own manner, they recommend proper wine and dishes.All the food and wines was very nice although I didnt order the course menu.The vegan salad was also delicious.

Our meal at the Amber Room was unfortunately not very good. The place was not very busy, and yet the dishes took an extremely long time to arrive (we waited half an hour between some dishes), and the whole meal took almost 4 hours. The dishes came lacking any explanation or embellishment, and were not all very tasty or well balanced. Absolutely not worth the price we paid (nearly 450 Zloty per person- this place is not nearly as good as other high end restaurants with tasting menus.

Love this restaurant. A restaurant with a classic and elegant character. Very tasty dishes you cant stop eating. Caipirinha cocktail - must taste! Warmly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic. Amazing atmosphere, beautiful patio, great service. Dont come here unless you have a few good hours to spend to relax, sit back, and go on a gastronomical journey across flavors, aromas and textures. Our waiter Bart was incredibly friendly and walked us through the journey. Discussing with us each dish and choice to help us choose the best combination to let go of all stress and just enjoy. We had the truffle tartar, which was to die for, a crispy poached egg like Ive never seen before, the truffle sauce on the gnocchi nearly made my girlfriend pass out from how delicious it was. The lamb was perfectly done and juicy. The wines they helped us pair were fabolous. And when you are done eating dont miss a chance to enjoy the cognac and cigar lounge at the bottom floor. I definitely reccomend. Only down side is the vicinity to the road which depending on what time you go could be noisy. They do have a gorgeous backyard patio which looks quieter. Regardless, definitely one of the top destinations in Warsaw if you like quality gourmet food.

Not just a Restaurant, but an experience. I loved the little taste samples in between the meals that we were served in order to reset the taste buds and just have the feeling of being spoiled. Also the absolute best steak tartare I ever had.

Pure perfection! Food is GREAT, service is SPECTACULAR and the atmosphere is very friendly. After our meal, the sous chef came up to our table and asked if everything was to our liking. Its pretty pricey, but definitely worth it.

Expensive restaurant. I had the testing menu with wine pairing. The food was good but not excellent . The service is was not excellent either takeing into consideration that the it is an expensive and high standard restaurant.Overall it was a positive experience.

From such price level you are waiting something interesting, pre-michelin 1 star levels. But food is just good. Sauces are interesting. Wine selection is wide, staff is great

Absolutely fabulous place. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly and professional. The terrace is very cozy with the view on the garden and the park. Highly recommended for any kind of event, like weddings or business meetings as there is a variety of rooms available.

absolutely amazing! Staff was so patient even with my guests who are so indecisive. every dish, LITERALLY every dish was spectacular. Basically you get what you pay for here. The quality of the service and food combined was supreme. Ive dinned at many fine-dining restaurants, this surpasses a lot of them easily

Best restaurant I have been to. 9 course tasting menu really was an experience together with the Wine menu.The service was excellent, whatever you wanted, you got. The Staff was serviceminded and serious.I will make reservations the next time I visit this city!

Do not be fooled by the furniture and decor, which may suggest that this is a Chinese restaurant. It actually serves Polish fare. Food served was okay. A vegetable soup, schnitzel with potatoes and a dessert. The soup didnt suit my taste buds. The main course was okay but the big bowl of soup that preceded it meant that I was unable to finish everything, especially the potatoes. Overall decent, but I believe that there are much better elsewhere in Warsaw.

The name says it all. Step into this restaurant and immediately you are greeted with a restaurant so tranquil but yet so vibrant with its bright Red, Yellow and Orange colored interior. A very palace-like and formal place to have European/Polish meals, coupled with a royal and majestic atmosphere, it was sure to give a very memorable dinner yet. With a healthy and top-notch 3-Course meal of soup, pork and dessert, it was sure to satisfy my taste buds.A restaurant of great culinary expertise, definitely worth visiting.
