As a researcher, the use of the museum collection was a good experience (unfortunately did not have the time to tour the exhibitions).

The staff doesnt know the entrance fee and operating hours. And no one picks up the phone to help us with info. Very pathetic!

Huberta is still there😊. Not bad, but like most other museums in SA, not at the top of our governments list wrt maintenance and repairs...🤨. Staff helpful and friendly and very cheap to enter. I loved it.

Natural history was ok. All exhibits of German settlers, South African history, World War and Kaffrarian history and general history of the development of the area totally eradicated. No exhibits allowed due to "transformation" by the current historian. Total waste of a journey. Just Huberta otherwise there is a Xhosa Gallery and a Missionary Museum. Racism in its worst form at government level.
