Amarilis Cafe Shop - Dominican restaurant in Miami, United States
This place was soooooo good 😮💨😮💨 I recommend this to my Latin friends and American friends.. the food and quality just doesn’t get better ‼️
The place was not as we expected. Ordered Mangu with the tres golpe and the Mangu was hard, the pieces of plantain was black and not smash. The plate were they serve the Mangu was broken. It was such a disappointment. The place didn’t look clean. No gloves at all. DONT COME TO THIS PLACE IF YOU DONT WANT TO DISAPPOINT YOUR SElF.
Love this place.. Food and the people
I had been here before and have always enjoyed it, today I went with my wife after not going for some time. To be surprised that the restaurant had been bought out now becoming a Dominican and Colombian restaurant. I was a bit disappointed because I have had some bad experience in the past with restaurants Changing for the worst. I ordered what I normaly order, only to be blown away with the food......BLOWN AWAY! .....Presentation, taste portions, it was all amazing. I normally dont really review places Unless its really bad. But I cant leave here today without sharing the wonderful experience I had here. It comes very recommended from me.
Good food, and great service👍🏾
Great food n atmosphere
Service is not the greatest and food is really expensive.
This place feels like home; the server reminded you of a Dominican aunt and there were people playing dominoes inside the restaurant. The Dominican vibe was in the air, the food and the juice was good.
The mongu was disappointing..never again.
Best dominican food hands down awesome service
I wanted a dominican breakfast when getting to Miami. Unfortunately, this food was disappointing compared to the same food I had in NY & DR. Maybe the food was rushed. The cheese wasnt melted enough. I love the look and feel of the restaurant.
Amaizing food.. the place ahhhh need some care... but the food was awesome
Great food, fast friendly service at a good price 😊
Good Dominican food 🇩🇴
Food too expensive, price are yo high for That kind of place, no ac, the place is about 100 degrees
Tasteful and authentic Dominican food
One of my favorite hole in wall places for Dominican food .
Ok service needs A/C
It was a super disappointment. The chicken was sticky guess they over ovened it and tried to add some sauce to eat making it worst..tasted reheated from day before. The rice was soggy. The salad was the only thing i enjoyed. Then to top it off waitress charged me 13 dollars when i was told its price is 7 dollars. Guess she figured i wouldnt know. I would never go back and I told the group I was not to go there.
Delicious homemade dominican food very clean restaurant very friendly employee
The food is great
They were closing and they didnt have everything we wanted from their menu.
Open air Dominican restaurant where you will see lots of people playing dominoes and loud bachata music. Authentic, homemade tasting Dominican food - stewed chicken (pollo guisado), white rice and red/pink beans (arroz con habichuelas), fried green plantains (tostones), etc.
Great food wonderful service, love the vibe! 👍🏾👍🏾😄
Very typical Dominican spot just like u would find in DR.. it can get loud and men r playing domino in one corner ..some folks dancing ... food is pretty good but the lady that takes your order also cooks it n takes care of it all. We had sancocho it was really good n picadera that was way over priced at 30 bucks crazy
Good Dominican food
Delicious food and great staff ❣️
They have a variety of food, its a Dominican food in Miami
Love the pollo chicharrones and tostones and iced cold coronas
Really good food and hot girls with big booties
Good food. Sancho my favorite..
Good coffee kind staff
Food was good, service was great! Would have liked my mangu a little less chunky and a little less dry. Otherwise great family business and some of the best Dominican food Ive had here in Miami that wasnt overpriced.
Found flys eggs on my food
great service best of the best Dominican restaurant.
Dominican Style, good food
Best Dominican place I have ever been to. I love the atmosphere too. Like you are in the DR. Food excellent.
Good dominican food, good service and cheap prices
Like being in a Barrio in Dominican republic.Nice mondongo.
Great Dominican food!!
Delicious food! Super nice staff
Good food. Reasonable price
Awesome Mangu con los 3 golpes! Needs a lil renovating tho.
Tasteful Dominican food!
Not the best looking place but the food is incredible and cold cold beers.. one of the best dominican kitchens in town. Not to fancy and not too expensive either
Authentic Dominincan Restaurant.Excellente service and equally tasting food.
Is like you are in Dr and you go to the pics pollo or.comedor next to home with colmadon ambience and loud Dominican music like we love.. if you have long time out of DR come here and you will feel back to el barrio at Santo Domingo.
Very good. Food and attention
I had the Mangu with fried cheese and Longaniza and it was excellent. My husband had the cocido which couldve had a bit more pigs feet but flavor was good. This is a no-frills place. No air-conditioning but plenty of fans and cold beer. For a minute I forgot I was in Miami and I thought I was in Dominican.
good Latin music & karaoke Friday
