Italian restaurant serving steak, classic entrees & wine in a warm, white-tablecloth atmosphere.
Would have given it 5 stars. Only setback was the Caesar salad was tasteless, and I wanted to substitute spinach instead of potatoes and was told I had to order a side because they could not substitute. When the check came they did take off the salad and said they would not charge for the spinach. Service was excellent.
Food was not nearly as good as it used to be. Not sure what changed but was not impressed. They are now seating at 100 percent capacity and tables and chairs are placed so close together that the person at the table next to me and the one behind me were literally two feet away from me. Had to ask the guy at the table next to me to move just to get up to leave and I am not a large person. Putting aside that we are in pandemic, I just dont want to sit at tables placed so close together that someone has to move for me to get up from the table. Wont be going back.
Food is just out of this world delicious! Service not so much but I will overlook the service to eat this any day! Definitely worth it
Wow just wow!!!! The food is out of this world and we know Italian food!! The burrata and prosciutto were incredible! The chicken picatta is the best Ive ever tasted !So flavorful and melted in my mouth! An incredible experience!!! The owner couldnt have been nicer and so welcoming. You cant go wrong!
This is a very good restaurant, but a bit pricey. Be prepared to pay $12.00 for three shrimp which doesnt include $12.00 for the salad. However, the service is good and the food is really good.
Had a delicious, romantic dinner here for our 20th wedding anniversary. The food was outstanding, top notch service. The homemade dessert chocolate heath cake was rich and delectable.
Amalfi Grille is an absolute must on any trip to Vero Beach. The rigatoni with roasted tomatoes and burrata is one of the simplest and most amazing pasta dishes I have ever had and couldn’t recommend it enough. The staff and service is always amazing, I can’t wait to go back.
My fiancé and I went home and made ourselves PB&J sandwiches our dinner was so disappointing. He ordered the chicken Marsala and I had the special which was hog fish piccata. Both were horribly bland. The shrimp bisque I had as a starter was good and I wish I would have just gotten a bowl of that. The waiter was rude and the two boys who got us water and bread were more helpful than he was.
One of the worst meals I’ve had out in quite some time. Wait staff seed like they wanted to be elsewhere. Not very attentive. Also the food was less than desirable. Chicken piccata was bland, my daughters high fish was worse than a cheap piece of tilapia.Took almost an hour to get our meal after our salads.Complex over pricedFor such lack luster food and wait staff.
Fantastic food and service, meals came quickly even though it was a packed house on a Friday night.. I had the Lobster ravioli with shrimp in creamy vodka sauce, it was heaven!!! Hubby loved the Hogfish and shrimp picatta... We will definitely be back!!
Nice quaint little Italian spot on Miracle Mile. Very nice service. Tasty food. Good proportions. Come try it out. Its location is excellent. Decor and ambiance very good too!
Very RUDEWent there with my wife at 520 pmLots of empty tablesWas offered a seat at the barGot a table 5 mins later and when we left there were still empty tablesThe waiter did not offer suggestions, was grouchy when we didn’t order wine, was stingy with the breadWILL NEVER RETURNps the food was good but the experience was NOT
The atmosphere there tonight was just lovely. We ordered the shrimp with sundried tomatoes , mushrooms in a cream sauce and it was excellent! Cesar salad and an individual home made mozzeralla , ended with chocolate toffee cake wow. Go here and you wont be disappointed! Thank you for a wonderful meal!
YOU should decrease your special menu by one or two courses. And make the entre more substantial. The one Ravioli appetizer was just ridiculous. Otherwise the good was tasty.
Delicious! Cant beat the 4 for $24 menu. Looking forward to going a second time to try the regular menu.
I had an excelent experience at the Amalfi Grill. I and 2 of the 3 people I was with ordered from the "Four for Twentyfour* bargain menu and the food was excellent. Wait staff was also very good. The Maui Picata I had was the best fish I can remember having.
Best Hogfish ever!.... Back again 5 months later. Same dish...Hogfish! Yummy.
We absolutely love this restaurant! We come here for all the special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and every reason we can think of! I had seafood linguini and my husband had Salmon with spinach!
Outstanding restaurant and dining experience. Great atmosphere, friendly service that is not rushed, and incredible food from bread through dessert. Everything is to be savored.
Very disappointing meal. Octopus appetizer was way overcooked and rubbery. It was so sparse that it wasnt enough for my husband and I to share. The pear salad was lettuce and 3 small per slices. It was supposed to have pecans and gorgonzola cheese which there was none! I asked the waiter to take it back and have the cheese added and it can back with 4-5 very small morsels of cheese. I ordered the carbonara pasta which I have ordered many times at other restaurants as it is one of my favorites. It was terrible. Fettucine floating in sauce with no ingredients. No peas, no egg on top (never heard of that), and no pancetta at all (some kind of tiny fatback was added). To top it off....it was grossly expensive.
Everytime the wife and I go here its for a special occasion, and we are always thoroughly impressed with the service. However, the food is on a totally different level. Its unbelievable how good the food is here. They bake their own bread with its own special garlic cream sauce, they make their own desserts (chocolate heath cheesecake, out-of-this-world good). The atmosphere is wonderful, the owner walks the restaurant to ensure his guests are happy and taken care of. It is really one of the shining stars of Vero Beach!
Great calamari. Everything was cooked perfectly. Very good for a special event. A little pricey but we will be going back.
High quality food, beautiful atmosphere, amazing service! Top notch chefs! You wont be disappointed!
We had a lovely dinner. We had Linguine with clams. Delicious. A nice bottle of Pinot Grigio.
Great service and delicious food!! Our waitress was excellent, she recommended the Dover Sole and the Hog fish, the flavors were great! We look forward to our next visit!
Prepare to spend most of the evening here. Service is fantastic. Waiting beyond typical 20 min made to order time, not so much.
The lobster bisque here was one of the best I have ever had. The main entree was a cavateli with Bolognese that was fresh made in house with ricotta mixed with the pasta, excellent. For dessert, the chocolate chess pie with gelato was a little to rich after eating the pasta. The staff was very accommodating and the only negative was the bus person took my empty plates so fast that he took my gelato before I finished. I didnt need it as I had more to eat than I needed. It is not cheap. The dessert alone was 12 dollars, but expect easily to pay 50 dollars and up without drinks. Worth every penny that night. I will return. I do wish they had served a salad with the pasta, but that is a minor problem.
Absolutely enjoyed dinning here with my entire clan Friday night, the food was awesome and our server was spot onCant say enough about how wonderful this restaurant is, we most certainly will be visiting this establishment again and againThank you so much for the great dinning experience .
This is a must go for Vero. Everything was wonderful, fresh bread, good wine list, large selection of entrees with generous portions, nice wine list, espresso was superb. The Chiliean Sea Bass was the best and Maine Lobster. The dessert menu is the best I have seen in a while and all 3 we ordered were outstanding (Toffee Sticky, Eggnog cheesecake, Chocolate Pecan). Would definitely go again!
Ive heard so much about this place, I figured we go for dinner with our adult children who happened to be in town for the holiday. First off, I dont mind paying higher prices for a meal, provided the meal is wonderful. Sadly, this was not the case. The food was adequate at best. I guess I had high expectations, especially when the waitress, upon being asked, told my daughter that all the pasta is homemade. My daughter was asking if the pasta was made from scratch, like her grandmother did. Miscommunication! I dont understand how people can rate this place so highly. Ive had better meals at either of the two well known franchise Italian restaurants in town. To top the evening off, the dessert menu listed about a dozen items without prices. Really! This place is not deserving of that calipur of clientele.
Mom and I had dinner here tonight and everything was great. The service was amazing and the food fabulous. We will be back soon. Also the new manager, JK was very helpful and a gem.
My entree was excellent. Pork medallions with apple pear chutney and sweet potato crisps with scallions and fennel. Chocolate pecan chess pie was a decadent indulgence. Definitely recommended.
Excellent food n service. Professional staff. I recommend the Fruttti de Mare.We dine there often, have never been dissatisfied.
Excellent food and service. First time we tried their 4 for $24 and it was more than adequate, top notch quality...as always.
Went with a family of 9. We were seated promptly. The wait staff did an amazing job. We took advantage of the summer menu with a special of $25.00 for a 4 course meal...yes thats right a 4!! course meal. I had the fried mozzarella and it melted in my mouth, the ceasar salad, just delish!! then the main course Beef Wellington cooked to perfection. Finally the dessert..Carrot cake with a mascarpone cream cheese frosting it was wicked good!! I have to say we were treated like kings with a royal meal to boot!
You have to try the "SUNDAY GRAVY ". Weve been there several times and always told by the owner to come back on a Sunday for homemade Sunday Gravy. We finally flew down for Sunday Gravy . And it was well worth the trip. Homemade sausage and meatballs with sparerib in the gravy. Everytime weve been there its always a great meal. Never been disappointed and believe me you wont leave hungry. Its a must to eat at. Its Casual dress with a very comfortable seating arrangement. Very clean restaurant with excellent waiters and waitresses. Atmosphere is great friendly and a very family oriented restaurant. Tell Bob his customers from New Jersey sent you. And dont forget the Key Lime pie for desert its the best you will ever have. Highly recommend it.
Great grilled octopus! Super fresh and tender!
Always amazing!! Love this place for fine dining evening with wife and family. Highly recommend. Staff is very professional and friendly.
Food terrific but pricey. Service was poor. Easter evening was the staffs excuse. Same amt of tables as any other nite but they claimed special menu items took time. Had to ask bus boy for bread. Long wait for our wine, our appetizer was excellent, excellent, but only warm. Meal was great, very large portions but waited so long took most if it home. ($25 corkage fee U thought extravagant left w/o coffee or dessert, too late. Will definitely try again if prices become more reasonable. $38 FOR LAMB CHOP, asparagras n potatoes.
Wow, poorest service Ive experienced ever. Visiting friends and we decided on going here-Walked in around 6 pm. Sat in bar area. Staff was rude (OH, no reservation?Listen just say no we cant accomidate you. Instead they decided to provide the poorest service they could-requested plain penne with meat sauce-was told "no". Explanation:all the food is made to order and they cant make it because it isnt on the menu (what exactly does made to ordermean to these people???. Seriously? Ok, plain penne, with the meatball appetizer and extra sauce-can you handle that?? Then we asked for bread, (because dont you always get a bread basket ?-we were given 4 slices and when we asked for more was told "NO", the young guy ripped the basket out of my husbands hand and walked off. We then asked the waiter who also said "no" -some other guy comes over to schmooze us and winds up giving us 4 slices of bread-he was apparently the owner. Oh- frutti de mare, listed under the PASTA section-DOESNT COME WITH PASTA!! Yeah thats additional-who the heck doesnt expect pasta with that dish?? All in all terrible service. Food was good but horrible service. Wont be returning here
The dining experience is the finest in the Vero Beach area. We have dined here four times have ordered four different appetizers & entrees all were exceptional. We will continue our dining at Amalfi.
The toffee cake dessert...I can’t even. It was crazy delicious. From Ricardo to John, everyone treated us so well. The food was delightful and the setting was warm and cozy. We will be back!
Beet salad had 4 beets in it. Mostly lettuce. My veal dish was supposed to have sausage and bacon. One piece of sausage. Veal was very thin mostly egg wash. We were out in less than an hour. Will not go back.
The best Italian food in town! Many think it is expensive, but truly you can leave there for the same price as Carrabas !The food and service is incredible!! I love the freshness of the dishes and unique flavors. It is by far my favorite! The owner comes around to each table and talks and is friendly! The service is fantastic! Bob Rose runs a tight ship and it is what makes the place fantastic!!!
Wonderful! We went to celebrate my birthday and so happy we did. Exceeded our expectations all the way. Thank you Jimmy, the service was great. Bob youve got a top notch restaraunt, food is superb👍👍. Cant wait to visit again.
Amalfi is one of my families favorite places to eat. The atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable. And the ravioli.....is homemade and delicious! Mr. Rose has created an amazing place to eat, drink wine and enjoy the company of family and friends. The staff here is top notch.
My girlfriend and I had various seafood and veal dishes, all of which were incredibly tasty. However, we both got food poisoning the following day. Maybe this was due to how busy they were, but getting sick from such an upscale place is simply unacceptable.
Food was very good. Service was also very good, they dont rush the dining experience. Drinks were expensive , wine by the glass $ 10.00 tropical drinks $ 14.00 and the summer special was no deal because the portions were half the regular menu size. Really how much does a little more pasta cost. Good quality but you pay for it.
Wow, fantastic experience. My wife and I sat at the bar and had a drink for 15 minutes waiting for our table and thoroughly enjoyed meeting the bartender, Russell. He was very service oriented and friendly. We ordered the oysters Rockefeller and the tomato Burrata with prosciutto appetizers (great). I had an incredible hogfish piccata and my wife loved her grouper with lobster sauce. We ordered two of their home-made deserts, both of which were decilious but too big to finish.Theyre a bit pricey, but oh, man are they worth it!
Took my husband for Valentines Day dinner. I must say that the food, service , and experience were top notch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants an excellent eating experience. Prices are comparable to any fine dining establishment. My husband had a New York Strip that literally melted in your mouth. My Veal Vasuvio was delicious. My favorite part, I have to say, was desert, but anyone who knows me knows desert is always my favorite part of any meal!!! If there was 10 stars Id definitely give it 10! Thanks for a great experience Amalfi Grill 😃😃😃
