We stayed here in March 2022 and I must say this is the best homestay in Valparai.My 5 reasons why you should choose to stay here:1. The owner gentleman Mr. Bennet Alwyn and his family take care of you well, they are so kind, wonderful, humble and like your own family. This is what means real "home" stay. He drove us around in his own car for sightseeing for two days, even all the way till Thrissur via Athirappily. The price was very reasonable. Also, he was like the perfect "grandpa" for my kid, listening and patiently answering her pestering questions for 2 days!! My 7 yr old daughter enjoyed his presence.2. The food cooked by Mr. Jijos mom at her own home for the guests is so tasty, traditional and she can customize it the way you ask. We asked Vegetarian lunch and were mesmerized by the sheet variety: Rice, Sambar, Rasam, Kootu, Aviyal, Poriyal, Payasam, Pappadam, Curd - all so homely.3. The property itself is very clean, neat, asthetic and beautiful. Huge rooms, most of them connected family rooms. Offers you great views of the tea estate from your bedroom, there is a creek flowing behind alongside a lawn like clearing to play and unwind. Ideal for both small family or huge groups. Very economical.4. Location: Just off the PAP Kamaraj Nagar Bus stop in the main road, opp the new Botanical Garden. Mr. Bennet recieved us at the bus stop as well without we asking for it and though his homestay is just few steps down the bus stop. He could have just given directions for us to come. Real "home" stay. There is no parking inside the property but you could park in a safe "space" in the main road.5. Great family, Good food, nice place with great views, value for money, sightseeing guidance and home away from home.

It’s a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying there. Location is very beautiful and close to nature. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. This place is very well maintained. Peaceful and clean homestay in town. I just love the Garden. Beautiful flowers covered every where in garden. Home cooked food was yummy. Specially idiyappam idly and kadala curry, briyani was ultimate. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience. I would highly recommend this place. Owner was very friendly, kind, helpfull and down to earth person and will take care of your each and every need. We really enjoyed. Alwyn homestay is the best in valparai.

One of the best place we have ever stayed. The homestay is situated near a small creek and has a wonderful view. If you stay here, you dont need to go sightseeing else where. Care taker was vey polite. If you want a pleasant experience while youre in Valparai, you can definitely choose here.

The home stay is clean and neat. The rooms are are big. The price is low. Especially the food was tasty and the price is reasonable. Instead of having outside better inform him prior so that he can arrange food. Alwyn sir is polite and humble. He guides for places to visit. Only problem is we need to park the car on the road side and go down to his place. It is in the entrance of the valparai city.

Its is in the town, not much parking. You dont feel you are away from city.But staff are very helpful and responsive. If you like stay near town, this is one of the best place.

It is good place to stay with easily accessable to road with 3-5 car parking. Owner is very much supportive type to get all kind of helps. Food arrangement is excellent with limited options. We 17 members stayed for 3days. Had wonderful stay with comfortable sleep. They supported with unlimited blankets and extra bed. Unlimited tea and coffee to beat the cold from 7am to till 10pm.Recommended to to choose. Coat for stay and food is normal. Its best one to choose for accommodation.

Alwyn HomeStay is wonderful place to be. Its not only value for money but also their hospitality is so welcoming. I have never seen such a cleanliness in any apartment of this category. They maintain the property as their home. When comes to their hospitality I would like to take an instance to describe, we wanted to go to town for some purchase, property owner not only lent his bike but also accompanied us.

Excellent place to stay at Valparai with an amazing looking Tea Garden to view from the balcony. The weather at Vallparai adds to the beauty of the place. The only negative is the lack of any good restaurant nearby to eat.

We mostly liked our stay here at Alwyns. The rooms are neat , and the food provided was pretty nice as well.There are however , some slight issues. Firstly, there is no dedicated parking available, so you will have to park by the roadside. Then, the location is not as picturesque as the pictures would have you believe. The view from the rooms are good, but the homestay is located bang in the middle (or endof what seems like a colony. So you will have a lot of villagers ambient noise .Still, on the whole this is not a bad location, its a nice place to hang out with your buddies . We really liked the food as well , and the rates are reasonable.

BEST HOMESTAY TO STAY WITH A FAMILY WILL ENJOY DEFENATELY CLEAN AND CLEAN

Great place to stay during a visit to Valparai or while going to Pollachi. Situated almost at the end of Valparai town. The view from this home stay is pretty natural and not man made. There is a beautiful riverine flowing through the back side of their building which is viewable from the balcony on the first floor. It’s quite hard to locate this place as only a board on the road side gives info on such a home stay. So it’s possible that most of them will miss this location. They have cozy rooms and if there are no guests then the entire floor is yours. Cost is also minimal compared to other home stays in Valparai. If requested home made quality food is provided.

Best place, spacious rooms, each condominium have 2 king size and 1 queen size bed with a TV, dinning table, we took 2 of it for one night stay, food was awesome, only issue is parking and moving luggage, but they have house keeping staff to help. We stayed here last week 15th May 2018
