Alutila cave and the Khagrachori city view from here is breaking. Highly recommended to visit along with friends and family.
the cave is situated after 10 minute walking distance...., noon time is better as it is very dark , the cave itself is almost 12 to 17 minutes walk , sandle or barefoot recommended, it may look slippery but its not so , the way up from the cave to the stairs is very dangerous , needed to be very careful that specific place is slippery and very deep , overall it is a thrilling place to visit , the place outside the cave is also nice, the whole khagrachari town can be seen from a spot, theres also a nice bridge for photoshoot

Nice place with but the natural cave is getting fade way as the authority arrange the whole cave, path easier to cross by the travellers!Thrilling adventure is no more in there but the overall place is quite okay for a short trip!

Natural Beauty in Khagrachhari Bangladesh 💝Lovely place
Alutila Guha(Caveis one of the prominent and renowned tourist spots in Khagrachari Tourist Zone. This is basically a primitive cave of around 400/500 meters which you have to walk very carefully due to the low height and dark environment. You will see a water flow while walking though the Cave. The spot is near about 5/6 kms away from the central point of Khagrachari district. To reach at the Alutila Guha(Caveyou have to walk through a long staircase. The walking zone is inside the cave is really tiresome but at the end it will be enjoyable for you all when you see the light at the end of the cave. My personal advice is to keep enough water bottle or soft drinks to remove your tiredness. Be very careful while walking inside the cave cause its slippery and so dark. Keep your cellphone flashlights on and take a well gripped Sandel inside the cave. Enjoy the momentum when you get to out of the cave after an adventurous journey!!Happy Travelling!!
It was an adventure trip. There were 4 of us. We enter the Alutila cave together. The inside was pitch dark and damp. Although a lot of water flowed through the cave during the rainy season, but now it was spring and very little water was flowing through the cave. Many more people, including four of us, entered the cave. Some of them were scared but I was very normal. Walking through the pitch dark and damp cave was not an easy task. He spoke softly in the cave, but it was loud and echoing. We entered through one end of the cave and exited on the other. It was an adventurous and enjoyable adventure.
Unique Cave with full of surprises.Best time to visit is winter.Leave your shoes upstairs or bring a bag to Carry..also carefull about mobile phone
If you need a little adventure in your life then go for it. I had fun through the cave journey. But I would suggest people with claustrophobia to stay away from this kind of adventure.
I would recommend to take a torch along with your backpack to explore more inside the cave 🙂 Tnq
This is so amazing place of the Khagrachari. Finally the adventure successfully done.It was sounds risk able, because the excess of cave inside water and mud somewhere. The inside is deep dark so this adventure isnt possible without hand lights. However, during the cave trip should be careful in feet slippery & insects.
The experience is supposed to be out of the world. However, it isnt because of the crowd. This is a very small cave. The main speciality of the cave is, it is very raw. No lights or no walkways have been created. So, you would walk through a complete natural path and that is the main charm of the experience. It is a bit scary but totally doable if you have good shoes. Your shoes are going to get wet. So, wear a sandal with good grip. Dont visit in rainy season as there will be lot of water inside then. This unique experience of walking through a completely natural cave is ruined by too many people visiting the cave at the same time. If authorities would allow a certain number of people in an hour, it would be actually great.Apart from the cave, the complex has beautiful viewpoints overlooking tareng hill. Overall, the place is clean, only little littering done at the cave entrance
This is one of the most popular place for tourist who visits Khagrachori. This is really awesome. The path was really interesting, amazing, little bit horror, adventurous. Inside is full of darkness and the stones are slippery. Walking through this cave is really a good experience. carry a torch light and be careful.
Extremely darkness inside the cave. So you should take high power flash light. Phone flash light will be ok. Entry charge BDT 40/- per person. Happy journey.
I loved the Aalu Tila Guha. You will feel thrill when explore it. But please be careful during walking.
A good experience of a dark cave, with a little breeze of water flowing. The best part of it is being not slippery at all.
Alutila Cave, also called Alutila Mysterious Cave (Bengali: আলুটিলা গুহাis a cave located in Matiranga Upazila in hill district of Khagrachari, Bangladesh. The cave formed inside the 1000-meter-high hill named Alutila (potato hillor Arbari Hill. The hill area is surrounded by deep green forest. The cave is 100 meters long. It has a natural subway-like shape with cold water flowing at bottom. This mysterious tunnel is below 266 steps of stairs from the peak of the hill. This unique cave cant be accessed without a torch . It takes about 15-20 minutes to pass through this tunnel. When you love a little adventure you should go for this cave....This experience through the cave will give you a lifetime thrill! 😎
The best adventure Ive ever had in my life. Its rely fun and interesting. But can be dangerous if youre not that physically fit. You might need assistance specially if youre aged or a woman or a child. But visiting this place is a must. It is recommended to keep your shoes outside before you start going down by the stairs.
The name of the place is Alutila Tourist Center. There is an open view point next to the mouth of the cave. In the dark, you have to enter the rocky cave on one side and exit on the other side. I didnt get much of an adventure because there are so many people. But it didnt feel so bad. Earlier people used to carry flare to enter the cave. But now everyone has a flash light on their mobile phone. I read the story of the cave in my childhood books. This time we met in reality. The way out of the cave was very slippery and steep. Surely injured once the foot slips.
I have never visited a cave before. I was scared when I entered into the cave. It will give you a gruesome feeling when you will be inside the cave. Make sure you have a torch, you can use flashlight of your phone, but in my view a torch can be a better solution as it is really dark inside.
This place feels like horror . Stay away if you have heart problem for long . Its definitely dangerous for children you have to take care of them by self after all you will get the amazing views for a moment specially in the middle point of alutila cave . Dont go lonely at least go with any others teams or person
Alutila Cave is the name of a natural cave located at Alutila Tourist Center in Khagrachhari district of Chittagong Hill Tracts. To the locals, Alutila Cave is known as ‘Matai Hakar’ or ‘Cave of the Gods’. The length of Alutila cave is 350 feet. It is always dark inside the cave so you need a torch to enter the cave. If you want, you can take a mobile torch or charge light as an alternative to the torch. Moreover, the stones inside the cave are quite slippery so good grip shoes should fall off. Before entering Alutila Cave, you have to collect a ticket from the main gate for 40 rupees. It only takes 10 to 15 minutes to enter from one end of the cave and exit from the other end. And there is Risang spring near Alutila cave.
Finaly the Adventure successfully completed. It was very riskable because the excess of cave inside water and mud somewhere. The inside is deep dark so this adventure is not possible without hand lights. The Freezing atmosphere & Quiet silence will give you strange thrills. However, during the cave trip should be careful in feet slippery & insects.Overall the cave trip time was quite enjoyable.
This cave is adventurous. I found it not so tough. Though, it is easy to go down but hard to climb. I do not suggest it for heart patients or Asma patients.
It is extremely secluded and clean. The city of Khagrachhari can be seen from the cave and view point. The sound of the water tap inside the cave is like enjoying the sound
If you are in khagrachari, must try this thrilling 10-15 mins walking. Need torch or bamboo firing light, don’t go alone, wait for others, in some places it’s scary. You should observe the cave with deep mind. Entry fee is 30. There is washroom before starting the stairs with 10 per person. Try coconut after coming back.
A journey to this cave could be the best memory in your life. The 7-10 minutes walking inside the cave will blow your mind with its silent and the darkness of the cave. It’s recommended not to cross the cave alone there is a possible chance of scared inside.Lastly the cave has two way inside it you should follow the right side way for exit.
The lamps they give you burn out before you can pass the cave.So take proper precautions and try not to hit your head into the rocks. Lastly there are water in the cave. So I suggest you should take off your shoes and put on some adventure boots.
