New discovery, happy us! Big range of beer, summer terrace with roof, plugs for chargersgood atmosphere, friendly and romantic place same time :)

We were on our way to a different craft beer place when we found Alus Muiža and never looked back: great tap selection (also for takeaway), lots of cans from local Latvian breweries in the fridge - you won’t run out of new things to taste anytime soon

Good place with rude and unfriendly staff. I Recommend this place to tourists from Switzerland and they were shocked.I would not recommend you Alus Muiza, there are a lot of other places in Riga with friendly people working there.

We visited several craft beer bars in Riga, but this was the best one hands down. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly bartender, great Latvian brews on tap, and you can also get some Riga Balsam if you suddenly get tired of ales. Most recommended.

Another hidden gem, fantastic beer, really authentic atmosphere, nice minimalistic design, bartender who knows, could not ask for more. Those places are (so farout of turistic guides, but Im not helping with this review...but its a appreciation post for the joint.

Table games available (cards etc.). Decent selection of beer (Hopalaa, Ārpus etc.). Can get beer straight from the beer kegs and filled in 3L bottles to carry for home. Dark, silent bar even if theres plenty of people, perfect for chilling with friends in the evening

Its simple. Alus Muiža is a modern version of soviet "pivnaya" (beer pub). It has beer, some snacks. No music. Just discussions and beer.Just how I like it.Possibly the best pub in Riga.At least for my taste.

Nice beers and good variety, including a grapefruit IPA. Bar seats around 30, so I think it has expanded since some of these reviews.

Really comfortable place.A bit small for the amount of people, but take-away is an option if you want to enjoy the drinks on offer elsewhere.

Really nice bar with loads of Latvian craft beers, a nice soundtrack and friendly service (for Riga, at least). Would highly recommend - they dont serve food, but youre allowed to bring your own to the nice wooden tables. 3.60€ for half a liter of delicious local brew.

Top Beer. i had 5 delicious pints. Excellent venue. Take away beers sold in 1Litre to 3 Litre bottles.Strange plastic blow up doll outside the toilet :)

Great selection of draft beers, what you can also take away in 1l bottles. You can enjoy local cider and stronger drinks too. Bartender will help you to find beer, what will fit your taste. Good place where to come and watch sports. 1 star less, because of poor snacking options. In summer time you can enjoy beer in terrace.

The wine i ordered had gone bad. The bartender didnt do anything with it. I said i wanted a beer instead, had to pay again. So ive now paid 2 drinks and only had one. No hello, no Thank you, no nothing. I would never come back here.

Best spot in Riga to grab a beer in the winter, and summer too if you can grab a spot outside, although they are hard to come by. Great selection of macros and micros, constantly rotating.

Great value for the price! Barman speaks several languages. Beer assortment changes from time to time. Very good price for take away. From food only snacks are available but portions are big and cheap.

Good, but not excellent. Bit to small, bit too smelly. Will allow outside food (none served here), friendly staff. Beware of surprises when going to the restroom :). Crowd is nice (locals, from local neighborhood), lacks any particularity or speciality. Good for having those two rounds, before going someplace else.

Craft and not expensive beer. This was not the first and not the last experience. They recently expanded, have a nice wooden interior, fits the tavern style. Some beers on tap, IPAs and else, and more beers in bottles. You will get yours for 3-4€. Also, they highly provode beer on the go, draught in plastic PET bottles, great option. Not too many snacks, only basics. However, they allow you to take pizza in from the pizzeria accross the street. In general, I really like and enjoy this little bar. Worth it.

Bit of a small place, decent selection of craft but I can barely remember what they had on draught that day. Bartender didnt speak much, which Im used to back home.Fairly good crowd on a Friday night. Was too knackered to stay for more than a pint. Will give this place another go if Im ever in Riga again.

As a foreigner the service was poor. Didnt want to chat, didnt want to talk about the beers. Maybe he didnt know English very well. The beer is good and very low in price.

Nice beer selection, bartender gave us the wrong beer, and apologised, but no offer of a replacement as now we have a beer that we didnt want. He didnt seem to know anything about sour beers (Berliner weisse, gose, lambic, barrell aged etceither.

Probably the best selection of beers in Riga, it used to be really tiny but the recent renovation has added a lot of space and tables, while preserving the great atmosphere!
