Jl. Asia Afrika, Balonggede, Kec. Regol, Kota Bandung, Jawa Barat 40251, Indonesia, Bandung
Synthetic grass covers this popular city square & meeting spot with views of the main mosque & city.
Clean and Nice Place for take a break from a daily routine..
Live at night , wonderful panoramic
The historical site, but still dirty for capital city. The price expensive for food and park area. I hope the government must solve it.
Meeting point and nice spot for take some photos and enjoy the street culinary. Big mosque for moslem is located and old historical bulding.
It is a great place to enjoy some snacks & drinks; however, people need to keep this place clean
the biggest masjid in bandung, in the heart of bandung city, if you walk a little you can see a lot of historic building around it and you can ride bandros (city tour busfor about 20k rupiah
Watch out Guys when You parking at the area near the BRI Tower you will charge 15 K for each Car, and 5K for motorcycle from the Bad Guy.They dont care even you came just for Pray in 5 minutes. The Rest Room are stinky n very dirty.I dont recomend everyone to step by to this place, is very unconvinient place to pray n rest.
Its crowded yet a good place to explore with friends. There are many street food and cafe with live music
For some reasons, the middle area was closed for public. We can only access the mosque and the parking lot in the basement.
The best things here are sorrounding by historical buildings such as Post Office, Asia Africa Building, Savoy Homan Hotel and more, near Asia Afrika street and Braga street. Visited by many people especially at weekend, so crawded for walk and taking a pictures. Bad things here are public toillet at Alun-alun so dirty and too much "pengamen" (street performance/street singers/singing beggar/buskers).
Quite crowded... But feel nice to be here😁 just for hang out in the evening with family or friends.. nice place to take photos
Modern city with beautiful view on the street...such a crowded moment, so busy there
This is my first time walking in alun-alun Bandung. The place, the street is very crowded. The area is very dirty with a lit of trashes. People are not aware enough about their environment…discipline to put trashes in the bin, so keep the environment clean.Anyway, just keep visiting this place…for a better knowledge…👍🏾
Me as a person who lived in here this is the most crowded place, but you should know this place of central Bandung city we called that"Masjid raya agung", basically this place tourist attractions so many people visit at here, if you want to visit but also you dont like crowded place, please visit when youre not on the weekendFor the food has a average price, not too cheap and not to expensive too
Nice View with so many crowded people
A good place to stroll with your family or lovely one. There is a basement parking lot so you don’t need to worry about where to park your car. Alun-alun Kota Bandung also located near other known attractions as sightseeing in asia-afrika street, or get some food along the street
Great big open space with big mosque. But I wonder why the mosque toilet is smelly while we have to put our "infaq" everytime we use it. Toilet perfume is cheap btwEdit : beware of tukang parkir naik haji, they will give you very unlogical price better park your ride at nearest mall then walk to here.Hati-hati banyak preman parkir naik haji, mending parkir di mall terdekat terus jalan kaki.
Actually, this is not really tourism spot in Bandung but as it is designed in such away that it attracts people to come here just to relax, play around or even hang out on green sinthetic grass. Youd better avoid coming here on a peak season or holiday if u dont like crowd. All in all, you can just drop by here anyway when u come to Bandumg 😊👍👍
The central of Bandung! So many things you can do around here, so many interesting places to visit, but so many people. I suggest to come during weekdays so you can enjoy itbto the fullest
Its a big public place where local people can bring all the family together. Before pandemic the place was used to have big crowds for relax and chill out after long strolling over the city. The location is on the center of Bandung city.Near to some tourist attraction like Asia Africa Monument, Braga Street, Savoy Homan Hotel and many more. The Alun-alun itself integrated with Masjid Agung Bandung, so muslim people also able to have daily prayer whilst on visit. On the back of Alun-alun there is halte for Bandung Tourist on the Bus or Bandros. Tourist can have a 45 minutes trip around the centre of Bandung city with a tour guide explains some history of Bandung city. The trip cost 20K/ person. I think its one of easy way to catch some glimpse of Bandung city. There are toilets, basement canteen and basement parking available there.Evening around 15.30 to 17.00 is the best time to chill and relax in alun-alun Bandung. No need to worry for food and drink jajan cemilan around 😊
Crowded when holiday, many traditional food available here, batagor, cilok, siomay, etc with afordable price, huge clean mosque with restroom, unfortunately the green carpeted field is closed until 4PM, for visitor please dont littered and keep it clean.
The heart of Bandung city, very well maintained and so many historical places around. Good pedestrian area.
This place is poorly managed! Street vendors are everywhere and always asking the people whether they want to buy or not. The parking lot so creepy on the basement, so muddy and shabby. The great mosque also badly maintained. A lot of people are eating, chating, and causing trash everywhere! The photos that shown to the people are pretty, but this place exactly bad and not recommend to hang around here.
the charm of this place is that youll be presented with old and historical buildings....I really like it. Aside from the square, its near the KAA monument to which you can take pictures with. And also, theres Bandung Tour on Bus as an alternative to go around the downtown. I guess its a free facility. And there are many cosplayers (?of famous characters like Hulk, Bumble Bee, Panda, Masya and the Bear and so on. You can take a picture with them.
Located in the center of Bandung City. You will find many historical building.Along with that, you will also can buy food (traditional and modernarround this area.In this place, you will also can find the Big Mosque of Bandung City.Must visit this place, interesting place to have a shoot.
I mean Im not a big fan of this place but I guess its okay. Its pretty clean and its right located next to Masjid Agung Bandung.
Nice place for having time together with colleague and friends. Very comfortable, nice view and instagramable. Near to reach attractive place, Asia Africa, Braga and so on
The center of Bandung, Place are already quiet good managed, lot of great historical building around from the Dutch colonialism , also lot of stores and souvenir shop, u can chill front of the mosque on iconic grass or walk around to enjoy view maybe u can also visit the Museum asia afrika.. Pretty good protection from police there so u will be safe, There also hotels close to alun alun ( savoy homann bidakara hotel and grand preanger hotel )
Green Open Space (RTHis good and has been planned. and crowded tourists mingle with the community enjoying a day in the city of Bandung.
This is one of great example for a city square as a public space. Not all cities have this kind of city square where their citizen actively spent their time with friends and family there. A good public space is where it is actively used by people and triggers them to do activities together instead of just coming by and do nothing. It has become one of my favorite places in Bandung.
Space. Lively. Green. Friendly locals. Cheap hawker stalls. And the most important: it is free. Easily the best place you can visit when you need a break. Check the weather first, though. Parking lot is underground. This is great outdoor time for your little ones or elderly. A small playground area located nearby. Sellers will frequently come to you to offer something, if you dont want their items, just refuse politely. I bought small rubber ball for IDR 10k and toy bird for 15k. Both have been my sons favorite until now.
One of must visited place in Bandung.Very unique city square, because this place used synthetic Carpet to cover the whole square.Quite difficult to reach, because located on traffic area in the centre of Bandung.Great place to enjoy time with family and friends.A lot of peoples came every day.But most of the peoples didnt realized about the cleanliness of the places, they just throw garbage everywhere. So sad to see something like this happened in very beautiful place in Bandung.Hopefully people in this country will realized about how to maintain cleanliness.
One of the most amazing city in Indonesia and this is best place for rest. I like to be here in Bandung City because so cold here. This place is so crowded. People from put of this city always visit this amazing center. I went to this place with my bro and we had a great time here along the day. Hopefully I can be here again in another time. Love love love. 😍😍😍😍😍
Good place for wasting time and take picture at grand mosque or bandung sign. Many people sit around this place with family or just wasting weekend, this place have a good sintetic grass to lying down hahaha
Across from Masjid/Mosque Raya Bandung. Geen field is made from fake grasses, theres local officer standing by in order visitors following the rules such as take off shoes or flip-flop/sandals while into those fake green grasses area, keep it clean, no alcoholic drinks allowed, no bring sharp weapon/any weapon, etc. Its no entrance fee, mostly busy in the sunrise (jogging activityor sunset time (gathering with family and friendsor just enjoy sitting at provided bench by the street under the shadow of trees, give it relax and mild wind, looking around people and busy street. Its also start and ending point for around 60 minutes Bandung quick tour with old-unique style and open air vehicle called Bandros, daily from 08:00 to 16:00LT.
Always love the atmosphere here.Best for a weekend family quality time. The toilet condition is dirty when it is crowdedToo bad some people don’t care of the cleanliness, they litter around
Its a nice place to hangout with friends and family. If its sunny, then it might get quite hot, but the breeze feels very nice. It is well kept and clean, I found no trace of trash on the ground. There is a parking spot underground. When I came there, it was quite empty. There is also a market down there, where you buy stuff like accessories, or shoes and other stuffs. Also foods and drinks. But unlike the surface, its not that clean, the stairs smells, its kinda dark and unkept, but still okay, not that gross, but definitely not clean.
I love it cause its the first big open space area for public with modern touch. Eventhough the grass is artificial, they have strict rules that everyone must be barefoot to walk inside the green area. Good for taking pictures too
Its a beautiful park. Not much to say. It will be best if theres a culinary fest every night around. However, Be careful when you come here using car. Its better off with Grab or Gojek/Gocar. The parking fee is crazy. After you park, the unofficial illegal parking person will asks you to pay first which is around Rp.20k to Rp.25k, i think depends on what type of car youre riding on. So just be careful.
What a nice place to spend your time with your child, this place is safe for children because it is floored with syntethic grass. Also this place behind the great mosque, so it make easy for moslem people to do prayer. And there is a garden with various beautiful plants and flower, so relaxing.
The center of bandung city, a place that you can relax and enjoy the city atmospher surronding by heritage building. Alun alun bandung is the most famous public place in bandung, Best time to visit is around 7pm. Best feature , You can lay down on the syntetic grass.
There are a lot of rules here so that the play area is always clean. There are no sellers and no smoking area. You cant eat anything in play area also but there are areas for it provided to you. Here will be crowded every single minute.
Most popular public area of Bandung City. Whenever you are in this city you MUST visit this place. This Bandung Landmark offers a lot of fun, kids playground, a high tower, photo spot, foodcourt, and many more. Its place is quite strategic, nearly with Bandung Station and easy access both using angkot and car on demand services.
This is one of the historical sites in Bandung. It is close to Asia Africa museum. This place is also an open place. Many Bandung people spend time here in afternoon. The green synthetic grass field makes this place distinguished! But, in my opinion, the visitiors should be told more not to litter and educated how keep this place clean. Alun-alun will be comfortable for Moslem people since the mosque is fantastic. In addition, you can go up to top of the twin tower of the mosque. Upthere, you can see the whole city of Bandung from the top! Please becareful of your belonging! Light criminal still possess chances here.
Very crowded, a bit dirty and very noisy, but I guess the plaza has been successful in gathering people. Youngsters are not allowed to hold hands, I heard a young couple next to us were being reprimanded because they were holding hands in public. Oh my..
Newly renovated city center square. Its in the same complex with Bandung Grand Mosque. The ground is covered with synthetic grass. Too bad is starting to looked a little dirty. The area are very crowded on weekends and holiday season. The parking space on basement are not well maintained. You also can take Bandung City Tour Bus Bandros for IDR 20k.
Just okay. It fulled by synthetic grass, but it was so dirty. Idk, I dont really enjoy my tike there. Dan macet parah. Malem takbiran si kesini..
Spacious, open space, and great place to take your children here. They can play a ball or just running around. And be careful, after the rain the grass so wet. Never sit or your clothes will get wet too. Unfortunately a lot of grass is detached from its place now. Not recommended when holidays. It very crowded in weekend or holidays.
Actually it is one of the best city square in Indonesia i have ever been so far. Its very lively and touristy. Just keep the place clean and well maintained.
Totally in love with the landscape and was mesmerized on how cozy it is to spend an evening in the park. The view is unexplainably comforting and this place got an amazing vibe that makes you dont want to leave anytime soon. However the basement is a little bit chaotic and unexpectedly dirty. I would recommend to take a stroll around as theres a lot of street food stalls nearby. In my personal opinion this place is suitable for a perfect, low-budget yet down-to-earth first date.
