Alto Sky Lounge in Kampung Bukit Baharu

Worst sky lounge we’ve been to. We went up at 11+, it was quite empty. We approached the staff at the counter but were told to take a seat and the staff will serve us shortly. There were at least 4 staff (1 male managerand there was only like 4 tables of customer. We waited for 10mins and went over to the bar counter hoping we could just get the menu first then order directly at the counter, but the female staff asked us to sit down and someone will serve us. We waiting for 5 mins, watching the male servers talking at the counter and cant be bothered to even bring us the menu. Ended up we left without even able to order anything. The place is very spacious and have nice view, but the service really is the worst I’ve ever experienced. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Zero star! Avoid this place at all cost if you want to ruin your night. Manager, staffs, service crew have zero customer service when the bar is almost empty. Now i know why people dont visit this place its a waste with such a nice view and seatings. I hope the director can do something about this to continue the bussiness its sad to see end of the year with such a bad sales.

recent visit found that the business here not as good as previous before MCO.customer not so many. we reached here just about 10.30pm, but mocktail ordered has lacked of fruits. fun fries had finished too.

Spent an occasion at here and the dining experience was excellent! The staffs are all very friendly, polite and helpful. Especially Mr Kumar, he was very attentive and catered to us well. Extra stars to him. The Paella and Tapas are superb which I didnt expect the food will taste so well as the restaurant didnt specialise on Spanish cuisine. Will definitely come back again.

Nice place to drink, only thing is the smoking area is slightly dark and have mosquitoes. Overall, they have the offer cocktails and snacks are at quite affordable price. Located within Hatten Hotel.

Environment was ok but staff was rude and unfriendly. Promotion stated online but there was no promotion when we arrived here. Should be clear on the promotion. Staffs wasn’t even sure about the promotion was going on. So we paid with the normal price instead.

we went around 7.30 pm ,the bar was not crowded in the weekend. Two lounges smoking and non smoking . The non smoking has the road side view.Theres 2 female and 3 male staffs around. No Songs . No much options on food or snacks. No cigirrate sale. Happy hours offer were running..If you have few friends wanted to chill out at low Cost this may be a good location.

Sky lounge at 22nd floor in Hatten Hotel. They are running promotion for Calsberg draught beer. 1/2 pint for Rm6 at 6pm, Rm7 from 7pm , Rm8 from 8pm until 12 midnight. Very cheap!

Was having a bad experience at here, the staff and a male supervisor was very rude and impatient to customers especially a waitress with spectacular. The rest was great, the foods the drinks the band. Unfortunately, bad attitude from some of them that’s a serious problem which needed to be solved !

The personnel promise to arrange the live band to sing for my bf birthday song on 12am sharp as his birthday but it did not happened.missed the moment!Food is bad, sound system sucks. Old spot one thing is good is the view only. Don’t bother to come

I’m here for drinks not the food so I can comment much on the food. marvellous view of Melaka when is up here but the live band sound system is bad.I ordered snacks nacho, simple food in such the dressing of it just not nice.It is my bf birthday there were no ice cream or cake can be prepare. Came up though to celebrate ended quiet disappointedThe place is old tho I think is time to renovate

Not much cozy atmosphere outside.Cocktails were so much dealuted. Shooters were nice.Bite was good but portion was very small. Live music is okay.

Located on level 22 of the Hatten hotel melaka, views here @ the Alto sky lounge overlooking the city area is interesting.Bar prices are affordable ,come during happy hour for the drinks.live entertainment is provided by a resident band,which was quite good,cheers!🍺🍺😄

Great sky view at Level 22, had a pitcher of Long Island at around RM100, live band only within dining area but could still hear from the outdoor lounge

Great chilling place! Need to improve on the cooling! Simply too warm to enjoy the great night View and the drinks!

I was looking for a nice place to celebrate my wifes birthday and I made the perfect choice at Alto Sky LoungeRight from the time I made the reservation, Amanda was so kind to send me the menu and even did follow ups to check if all was OK. A great start!On the night itself, the food was fantastic and service from Siti was awesome. She was attentive and very friendly.We are looking to return to Alto Sky Lounge again in near future and all thanks to Amanda, Siti and the whole crew. Thank you for a lovely and memorable evening!

Nice view, but the glass panes were badly smudged, taking something away from it. Clearly hadnt been cleaned in awhile.

The environment is beautiful and romantic, the world of two people is a good choice.Food and service are good.

An absolute disgrace to Italian food and fine dining. Had to wear a collared shirt and long pants in one of the hottest cities in the world, and the food and service was an abomination, this place should allow singlets and flip flops

One star was for the paprika butter. Otherwise worst dining experience Ive had outside of Kabul. Warning to fellow Malakkians, please dine at your risk.

Had a signature cocktail the passionfruit volkatini... not so fantastic. Never liked having ice in my volkatini... it taste more like mango then passionfruit.

Nice view but the bar itself could be more ventilated and better service could be provided. A wider range of deinka for happy hour would be nice as well

Had a drink and some finger food with a friend here. Beautiful view. Prices were reasonable. Went on a weekday and love the quiet ambiance.

Not too bad for having a drink or 2 and enjoying the view of Melaka from 22nd floor. Sea view not too much, drinks over priced, some live music on a Thursday night. Overall good experience.

The place are cozy with the spectacular view of Malacca.Npt suitable for Muslims as they also serve non halal beverage.But..you can enjoy the wide view of Malacca during night.

Going to this dinner with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. Nice place to have function. Friendly staff. The food was good. Love the view. U can see melaka town. Have a live band outside. Nice place to go

The food portions are too small. The staff is not attentive and lack of training. The lounge is totally not in the standard and the staff not even greeting you when you enter. No one even bother to assist you to your seat as reservation has been made earlier. Everything is just in a mess! Totally ruined my dinner as the price payed is also as other hotel yet the service given not even a 4star hotel service. This lounge is NOT RECOMMENDED and is NOT valued for money.

Nice lounge on the 22nd floor ...Great view of the mall area in MalaccaDrinks are a little pricey, but given the location and view, its expected.

Good ... nice place for sunset ...Bad ... not a very posh or lush decor place ... just a simple windowless, no glass viewing deck, because there is still a roof above, not the authentic sky bar with sky view ...

Staff were friendly and proactive. Atmosphere was nice. Food was scrumptious. I enjoyed it all.

Probably the best place for rooftop dining in Melaka. Situated on the 22nd floor of the popular Hatten Hotel, Alto offers a great panoramic view of the city. Price-wise, pretty reasonable with Carslberg at only 10RM nett per bottle. Service crew was attentive and catered to all my needs. Will definitely be back when I am in town again!

Worth a visit in all aspect. Happy hour price is a steal compared to other bars. The staff were attentive and ambience was nice. Good view of Melaka city too

A great place for city view. Not very quiet, other people make extreme noisy like in a stadium. Ask for wifi and the waitress didnt answer.

Night view is quite nice, its a nice quite place to have a drink and relax. A jug of cocktail is 60RM

Worst fine dining meal at the restaurant. The lamb loin priced at MYR98 is a small piece of undercooked meat with tasteless sauce and platted childishly. The lobster bisque was very salty with a lump of tasteless frozen supposedly lobster meat. The seabass was not fresh, the meat was yellowish in colour, soggy skin and the so called risotto was merely a lump of rice. I rejected the ceasar salad with scallop bcos the 2 small pieces of cold scallops were tasteless.

Surprisingly nice with a good view and service. The signature cocktails we tried were delicious. Its a bit rundown though so for seating the maintenance should be better. Quite pricy and they do not accept American Express card which is quite bad for a venue like this one.
