This place is a must visit if youre doing a tour of Recife. If you didnt see Olinda, you didnt really see Recife.The rest of the local cities should take note of the beauty of Olinda and ask how they can also preserve their beautiful buildings/architecture. Locals should have pride in their town. 10/10.

Here is one of the famous and historic church in Olinda. It is more simple design and architecture than others, but beautiful.We can also see amazing view from here.

Beautiful spot for sunset, with some drinks and tapioca on hand at the market. The cathedral is worth visit, there is small charge of 2R$ per person. Great view from the terrace

The view from the top is beautiful. The church is simple, but it has the best view of the city and the sea beyond. Lots of street vendors and insistent would-be tourist guides.

Difficult to park. We couldnt even drive by because they were guides and parking lot personell running after the car.

A wonderful place to view Recife skyline

Amazing view of the old City of Olinda and Recife in the background. Lots of restaurants and local art galleries plus a lot of historical buildings and churches. Certainly a must if youre around here. Its very hilly so use a comfortable pair of shoes and bring your camera! Enjoy!

The best place in Olinda. Here you can enjoy the best view from the city, eating a delicious Tapioca after dancing Ciranda (a typical local dance from Pernambuco). People are totally warm and friendly. Its worth visiting.

Olindas must-see spot for the first-timer tourist. Scenic views, local crafts market, street kiosks with food and, sometimes, live frevo/maracatu/samba presentations (usually, during carnival rehearsal season).

Its a nice place to go. It has a great view of the sea and Olinda and Recife towns. There are also some beautiful old buildings, nice stores and street sales where you can buy many local products. During the evening and night theres a square with plenty of food and drink to buy and you can also enjoy the citys lights and some artistic presentations.

Beautiful view, but it needs a very deep cleaning in the streets and in the surrounding area. Smells bad and there is no much to see besides the view.

One of the most beautiful places in Olinda, its a must to go there. Its worthy to climb the ramps and get to the cultural center of Olinda. There you can eat tipical food (such as tapioca and acarajé), buy beautiful sculptures and gifts that show our tradition and life style, appreciate our buildings and churchs, in which you can get inside and know a bit of its history, choose among the many restaurants nearby and also take the panoramic elevator and appreciate the view of Olinda and Recife from above, seing the coast and all the beauty of the sister cities.
