Almaz by momo is about to close the restaurant permanently no more almaz from 10 of august so the lovers of food by almaz by mom will no longer can visit sad to hear that

A warm and beautiful restaurant with gorgeous interior, bright rich colors. Very comfortable chairs, modern Morrocan decor with a twist of elegance. The lamb tagine with pears was exceptionally good.The Morrocan tea amazing. A must to try if you a a lover of Morrocan tagine . Service was good. Beautiful view of the water front, but it was so hot at 45 degree, we opted to sit inside instead and admire the view from a distance whilst enjoying the cool AC.Highly recommend for dining.

Not great food , doesnt taste like original Moroccan food.Harira was very light with no proper ingredients. Food took some time even though the place was not busy. I think they focus on serving shisha more than serving food.

Very bad and slow service. I waited more than 20 min to get the menu and then another 20 min to give the order. Staff are not organized, no one was assigned for our table. Manager is not available for customer.Food is good. Service very very very BAD.

Good shisha beautiful ambiance. Went there today for quick shisha break and it was good. The shisha was good and ordered watermelon juice. The place is beautiful but I guess would be better at night since it was a bit still hotel during noon.The staff were friendly and smiling all the time. I’ll be coming back at night one day to try the food. I have been here before long time ago and always have good memories.

Very good location. Nice staff (when available). Service very is average and so is the food (if you’re familiar with Moroccan food and North African cuisine in general). Overpriced menu.

Great food and decoration. I liked that menu have vegetarian options and I recommend this restaurant if you have birthday or celebration cause they done it so amazing with the music and dancing staff

Momos is one of the places I look forward to when visiting Dubai. Friendly service, great vibes and great food and drinks. Hummus with meat, Couscous Mechoui followed by a fruit cocktail is my go to.Unfortunately it is no longer in Jumeirah Beach but will have to pay a visit to Abu Dhabi!

Nice ambience. We had sheesha and Mix Grill. Both were good. Prices are also reasonable.

My family and I decided to have dinner at Galleria Mall which is a prestigious complex , we headed to this restaurant where we can enjoy some moroccan famous food to start with tagine brewer and mint tea. The ambiance is good , music was Rai the location overlooking the Arabian gulf is stunning. We enjoyed a lot the evening and we will come back . Nice restaurant just in front of a channel. Exotic ambience with music and good service. But the best part is the food: very good and very well presented. Take a seat and enjoy the evening!

Our go to place for flavorful and authentic Moroccan food. It has a very rich menu. The staff are very informative and courteous. Try the tagine and the cheese briouat 👌🏼 definitely a great place to treat some guests to a hospitable and wonderful dining experience. The ambience is nice but sort of dim.

An excellent restaurant serving Moroccan cousins with nice location in Al Maryah island in Abu Dhabi. Food is very delicious and tasty with good varieties, specially the Tagen dishes. Staff are friendly and caring and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

Wonderful staff but disrespectful management, we asked them polity to reduce the volume of their music (noicecouple of times. . . Just a little bit. . So we can hear each others, they reduce it for a minute then raise it up again. Drinks are over rated, the ambiance is nice but still if you dont respect your customers you dont deserve their business

3 stars for the food which is one of the best in Abu Dhabi, however, the staff makes you feel that they are doing you a favor when they serve you. Diffrent level of rudeness.

Excellent food! Atmosphere is very summery. Restaurant is in the most expensive shopping mall of Abu Dhabi, where you have a breathtaking view on a channel. They provide a very good service, menu is very vast and portions are generous. We will definitely get back there. Although we’ve been there 3 times already. They do not serve alcohol, however they have very good non alcoholic cocktails.

Its a perfect winter park get away. Has clean toilets. Its a fascinating place to chill.

Amazing Moroccan food. Friendly staff and nice ambience. Go for some cold and hot appetizers with one of the tagines. They also serve shisha with so many different flavours. Moroccan tea is a must have after the meal!

Overpriced. I thought this was an upscale place but its a cheap hangout with sketchy people. Not a family place at all. The food was bland and nothing you will remember the next day. The utensils, chairs, tables etc were cheap and old. The waiters were flirting openly with female customers taking turns and going back trying to get their numbers. It was very uncomfortable for the families there who were openly complaining about this. Music was good though. I remember this was an upscale place when I visited years ago. The chef visited our table to test out new food items on us. Now its just one of those cheap sheesha hangouts with some random football game playing in the background.

Its so dirty, the cushions are heavily stained. It doesnt take much to be clean, a bottle of vanish wouldnt go amiss. You also have to be very careful of the uneven floor.

The shisha is sublime, the ambiance perfect, and the food exceptional. I honestly cant find a negative thing to say about Almaz. It works as a quiet place for dinner, a work environment, and a meeting place. Cant recommend it enough.Of particular note is the lunch deal, an appetizer, entree and shisha for less than 120 AED.

Shishas good, pricey but its worth it. Moroccan teas not that strong. Has outdoor seating too. Not much areas where you can plug your laptop chargers and just work.

pricey for what it is and menus hasnt changed since it opened over 4 yrs ago. having said their good stuff is great but not all items are consistently great. recently downsized portions and in some cases to laughably small sizes given steep prices.very popular for upmarket sheesha smoking

Great Morrocan and middle eastern cuisine. Went for a Ramadan iftar and every dish I tried varied from good to excellent. I liked the vegetables couscous and the date filled makroudh sweets for dessert.

Very nice experience for Iftar .. love the food, the service and the place..Very quite seating after Iftar to have Moroccan tea and enjoy the sweets..well recommended and we will visiting the restaurant for sure to repeat the experience

A very good cafe/resturant in Abu Dhabi. The menu offers great many choices in food and beverage. The main theme of the place and the menu is around the Middle East, especially Morocco. The place is bit pricey and thus attracts a crowd of middle age, upper middle class group, not much of young people (teens and early twenties). The outdoor section offers shisha and allows smoking.

Used to be much better. Recently have cut portions to barely 2 spoonfuls and removed the appetizer platter. Goal is to make money not serve good food. Never going again.

Almaz by Momo is a nice place for people who like Shisha. It is located in the beautiful Souwa Island inside The Galleria Mall. The outdoor seating area is very nice overlooking the bay. I personally dont smoke shisha so I was kind of bothered by the smoke and the smell. I have tried Arabic Mezze and honestly it didnt like it. The presentation is nice but the taste is not as fresh and delicious as it is supposed to be.

Good place to have an informal dinner and enjoy Moroccan food. Very good mezze and cauliflower fritters. Vegetable cous cous is good. Big servings. Service is very kind. The walls are decorated Moroccan style. You can smoke shisha outside.

I would say the only good part of the restaurant is the shisha and tea. I recommend the grape with mint shisha and the zaatar tea.The food here is quite inconsistent. I find that their meat isnt great, but their couscous is decent.The service here is horrible. Not just slow, but the waiters are rude and know it.

Great food, generous portions, shisha.Absolutely useless service. Ive been there 3 times and without fail, I wait 15 minutes before I end up leaving the table, grabbing the menu myself, then chasing a waiter to place my order.The loud music might not be to everyones taste.
