Small bites and artisan single origin coffee from house-roasted beans, in airy wood-furnished space.
Favourite coffee spot in the area
We did the Perfect Cup Class today. Tutored by Harry in a warm and relaxed manner. An excellent and fun experience. The inclusive brunch was tasty and enjoyable. All staff were friendly and positive. Came away much more knowledgeable. Give it a go.
Amazing experience and excellent service from Richard who looked after us during our entire stay. We will be definitely be returning
I was out and about writing a review about the best things to do in Dalston for my blog. I stopped off for a latte and almond croissant at Allpress. Ive been there before and the coffee is amazing, the croissant was so tasty Ive been dreaming about it ever since! The sun was shining so I sat outside in their private courtyard.
Best flat white Ive ever had -- better than the ones they serve in the opera house in SydneyEDIT - another banger of a flat white. I love the staff here they are some of the friendliest folks around. They are very tolerant too. Were on a first name basis, no big deal.
THIS PLACE WORST PLACE EVER TO BUY YOUR COFFE. THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE TRASH . I HAVE ONLY BEEN THERE TWICE AND EACH TIME I WENT THERE THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THEY PRETEND THAT THEY HAVE NOT SEEN YOU WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN STANDING BY THE COUNTER FOR ALMOST TWENTY MINUTES AND NOBODY ATTENDS TO YOU. THE LAST TIME WHEN I WENT THERE THE PERSON WHO SERVED ME TOOK MY MONEY BUT DECIDED TO MAKE MY COFFEE AFTER SERVING TWO COUPLES WHO ARE WHITE. SO THOSE COUPLES GOT SERVED BEFORE ME AND I WAS WAITING THERE FOR ALMOST 20 MINUTES WAITING FOR MY COFFE. THEIR COFFEES ARE SO EXPENSIVE
been coming here for about a year now and will continue to do so! really friendly staff, delicious coffee, fast service and reasonable prices! a lovey place to sit and read or meet some mates for brunchLOVELY STUFF
Nice place with good coffee and food, and I particularly like the fact that they are dog friendly
Really nice and decent coffee as well as brunch!
Great coffee roasters with spacious seating area and nice food options.
I tried Decaf&Oat Americano and love it! 👌🏻 Although it was a busy day I can easily say that it’s very well managed! Very friendly staff and cool place!!!👏🏻🧡
Great food & nice vibes - the green goddess is a winner!! However, tbh Ive had many flat whites here and every single time its a FLAT white.
Great coffee, great food, great service. The venue is spacious and clean, the staff are professional and helpful, the prices are reasonable and competitive, the toilets are clean and beautifully maintained... This was just a brilliant all-round experience.
Mixed plate and a cold brew are a perfect breakfast here. Our go to place in the hood. Plenty of inside and outside tables and super friendly team.
Had great filter coffee, the pain aux raisins was good so were the eggs&soldiers ! Also the garden is lovely.
Best cold brew and filter coffee in london…so good that the price feels cheap
What an oasis of calm in a frantic city! All the staff seem to be super friendly, efficient and interesting people who create a wonderful welcoming ambiance even when it is busy. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they know their coffee and food, which are great. Wish I could get there more often.
Incredibly friendly team, even when the cafe is packed!Ive been visiting Allpress since Ive lived in Dalston, and it is far and away the most friendly cafe Ive frequented in London. The floor staff are always incredibly accommodating, even when the cafe is booming, and there is a genuine feeling of belonging as soon as you enter the gates. The coffee and food are seriously top-quality, regardless of how busy the floor is. Allpress is a place to enjoy and dwell; a cool and light relief on a sunny day.The team are really well-educated to advise on coffee beans/grinds for home use too, whatever kind of brewing equipment you use.Its really refreshing to get coffee in a place so calming and community-oriented. I would happily recommend to everyone I know, and everyone I dont!
I’ve been living locally for 8 years now and am a regular at your cafe. I’ve always had lovely experiences with your friendly staff but today unfortunately one of them was really unpleasant to me.I had brought my friend who was on holidays in London for breakfast. We were sitting down being served our food and I asked the server if I could have a hot water and lemon. She said you don’t really do that, which is incorrect as I’ve been ordering hot water with lemon for years, frequently from the table without consequence. She then came back with cold water and lemon and placed it quite aggressively on the table. I apologised for the inconvenience and explained again my order. She went and came back with a hot water lemon and slammed it down on the table. We thanked her and she said nothing back, turned around and I saw that she had rolled her eyes at us. The whole table was really shocked by this.It was really disappointing. After so many pleasant encounters at your cafe, introducing it to so many friends and visitors, this seemed like the last time I could go here. Unfortunately servers like her can taint the overall experience of a place. I’ve let my friends know about this morning and they are really shocked too. The affect of her rudeness can be really far reaching beyond just my experience and I’m just so disappointed.
Amazing coffee, the place is cool but no plugs or wi-fi.
Great cold brew and nourishing simple food with efficient, friendly service. Love the venue - spacious beautiful outdoors and airy indoors. Very easygoing vibe, computer friendly even during weekends.Highly recommend.
It is a really nice place with a lot of green outside.Sadly coffee here is a bit expensive for a cup size.
The coffee at this place is delicious. Pastries and cookies are good 🤩Cool vibe and friendly people!
Nice place and good coffee but still don’t understand how decaf and oat milk are a 50p alternative. For a lactose intolerant dairy milk isn’t an ‘option’.
my favorite is actually their salt beef Russian sandwich(no punch given the current Ukrainian crisis).Coffee is decent. Their croissant is from Little Bread Paddler! In my opinion, the pastry itself is worth a visit. The only reason I take off one star is their indoor service is a bit lack of organization.
I think all coffee aficionados should visit this place sometime.
Excellent coffee, brunch options and service. Doubt you will find a better location in the city. Lovely garden courtyard with outdoor seating. Inside is equally as nice with booths for larger groups and a relaxed open seating with lots of natural light. You can see the roastery in action. The blend is the crowd pleaser profile, chocolate nuts, one of the best blends in the city.
I. am. in love. This was a recommendation from some new friends, and I will now never buy coffee beans anywhere else. Tons of indoor and outdoor seating, big glass walls so you can see where the roasting takes place, super knowledgeable and helpful staff, and I even had a very tasty sandwich. They really know their coffee, and if you’re like me and were looking for “drip” coffee in London, this is the spot. But really, this is the spot, full-stop
Superb coffee. Great interior. Well executed. I was there on the Saturday just passed and witnessed the staff calmly handle a pretty rude customer without disrupting the rest of the place. Impressive place
Absolutely love Allpress. Everything about it is great and Im so happy to have it as my local coffee shop. The staff is awesome and always super welcoming. Highly recommend!
I really like Allpress. They have delicious doughnuts and sandwiches, and their coffee is really good. Theyre buggy accessible, and have a garden. The traffic is blocked by a fence and plants, and the garden gets decent sunlight. The staff are also really friendly.
Beautiful space but £36 for 1kg of coffee? Your coffee is very good, but that’s a stretch. Local roasters like dark arts, which are at least just as good, charge £27-£32. I’ll just drop by for a coffee and buy beans elsewhere.
Lovely kiwi coffee supplier here, the classic flat white probably the best one Ive found in the Dalston area so far. Highly recommend for coffee connisuers. Great setting outside too and dog friendly. Very hipster vibes happy to call this place my local spot!
Super nice staff. Amazing coffee. The coffee shop looks super cosy, and peaceful. A nice place to read a book. There is a huge glass window where you can see the process the coffee goes through. From coming in to being roasted. Really cool.
The quality of the coffee beans is fine, but the issue with this place is that the quality of the end coffee is so hit and miss - often the milk will either be burnt or not heated enough and the coffee ratios are always wildly different. This place is not representative of even mediocre Aussie coffee culture so they can drop that pretense. Ive given this place so many chances but from now on am going to rely on the decent alternatives close by with way more consistency and suggest others do the same until they pick up their game.
The coffee was amazing however I ordered the ‘mixed plate’ and you get: sliced cheese from the supermarket, tomato, half avocado, one egg and bread = £9.50!!! No value for money!! Prosciutto is extra (!!!and I swear, when I asked the girl what’s in the mixed plate, she said salmon too, but no👎🏼
Good coffee roasters, however please, I think its important for this industry and its end-user(sto have more clarity on the roast date of the beans.Theres no "ROASTED ON" date on your coffee bags, which I think it goes against every principle of being an independent coffee roaster.Removing the roasted on date, doesnt give us any indication on whether the beans are still too fresh/degassing etc.I think you should make an effort as an independent coffee roaster and state the "roasted on" date. Thanks
Probably one of London’s Great Coffee Shops.AllPress Espresso coffee and food are both amazing.Coffee options are great, had a long black and a filter coffee which perfectly woke me up! alternative to also Milk available.Nice layout, good selection of Coffee equipment and merch. Not forgetting a good selection of freshly roasted beans!Staff were all friendly and very welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!
Nothing wrong with the service, but I had the most terrible batch brew I had in my life. Its completely over extracted and tasted like dark witchcraft medicine. I like your espresso, but please improve on the Christmas blend batch brew recipe.
Weve been frequenting this café to get coffee beans for a while. Great experience every time and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The coffee beans are also amazing every time. Definitely becoming one of my local spots!
I love this place. I have just discovered it but I can say it became my favourite coffee shop in London! They have a good selection of coffee. Their staff is well trained and they know to answer your questions and they know how to sell their coffee. We only had sweets and were absolutely delicious but the food looked amazing as well. I will definitely go back for food and more coffee! Go and have a good coffee. If you go, dont rush, take your time to enjoy your coffee! Trust me, its worth it!
Great roaster cafe with excelente coffee and food options. Great design of the space too.
The place is very nice, they have enough food options. I ordered an avocado toast that was very tasty, the coffee honestly didnt like me. The attention of the place is very good, it could improve the fact that they do not have wifi.
(+it’s cool, there isn’t anywhere like it in the vicinity; the coffee is good; the cooked food is okay and cakes are good.(-coffee is pricey; food is overpriced.I like this spot. Sure, there’s a hipsteresq air about the place, but it’s also a comfortable spot to relax with friends or get some pre-work work done. The staff are fine, I haven’t had any negative interactions to date and I’m not a particular chatty so it suits me. It’s pretty busy in the mornings and service can be slow, no big deal if you’re not in a rush. The garden out front is a good place to chill when the weather is decent.
Amazing coffee ☕️Love the boiled eggs and bread🥚
Let me tell you these guys are effin’ warriors! On the weekends it gets packed, especially if it’s a sunny day because they have a beautiful terrace. And they are spot on, getting orders out quick and correctly while still being very nice people. Keep it up, your work doesn’t go unnoticed! ♥️☕️✨
Great food and service. Amazing seating aerea outdoor!
What a place! Old factory restored into a beautiful and spacious venue! The service is wonderful, friendly and very helpful. Had breakfast and really liked it, especially the mint tea with cup full of real leafs. Very busy but the vibe is very positive and will visit again soon.
Great coffee and beans! Host knows his stuff about the different beans for different brewing methods etc!! Salads looked yummy and the kitchen smelt delicious... roasters on site!
Beautiful place to have brunch. Very good prices. Quality is great. I like that they dont offer the usual scrambled and fried eggs.See menu below.
