We liked the food and price but the service was extremely slow.

I normally am quick to ignore mistakes because, well face it mistakes happen. This time however, this is not a mistake. I ordered a mushroom swiss burger with no lettuce, tomato or onions. It had onions. The server, who was phenomenal quickly took it back for a replacement. At this point, I am ok with the oops. The new burger came out it was good, but when I picked up my pickle spear and take a bite. A strong flavor of onion. Then I notice where the pickle had been lie a onion. A onion about the size of a quarter trimmed neatly to be concealed by a pickle spear. What are the chances of a perfectly shaped onion being accidently covered by the pickle spear? The only reason I gave two stars was because the server did a good job and the food was average. So I decided I was going to take a photo, but the gentleman (not my serverfrom the kitchen took the dish prior to me snapping the photo. With all that said, I do not think I will return to alley oops nor will I recommend it to my friends or co workers.

First time visiting the waitress Christie was awesome we met the owner and he was pretty cool we will be back again

The generous portion of food is freshly prepared. The staff are always friendly. Love a good mimosa.

Sometimes you just want that family-run restaurant meal. The kind where the owner wants to serve an affordable meal that tastes like something you’d make if you had the time and ability. The lunch specials are just that: special. Meat loaf, chicken fried chicken, catfish…it’s all good. Even the chicken nachos were spectacular, something I never thought I’d mention in a restaurant review. The staff genuinely cares and treats you like you’re a guest. They were recommended to me by a good friend. Give them a try.

Personality off the bat. That alarm burger is like fireworks in your mouth. Definite lunch spot.

Hubby and I were in for lunch. Always like to try something new. Reviews looked good. Chicken salad with fruit was one of the specials. While I dont eat much, I didnt want the full plate so I ASKED, if the smaller portion of chicken salad was the same as the special, with cranberries and almonds. I was told it was the same. It was not the same. It was the blandest chicken salad I have ever been served. Only mayo and a tiny bit of celery, and almost zero lettuce under the chicken. They should up there game here, Arbys chicken salad much better. My husbands fried catfish was ok though, very little coleslaw. Glad we tried it, now we can move on to another new place.

OMG, the food was fantastic. They did a great job of service to take care of us. Th servings were very generous. Tasted delightful. I got the daily special of meat loaf, superb...

My wife and I searching on Google maps for a place to eat in Little Rock. Seeing all the good reviews and photos of Alley Oops we wanted to try it. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. Our waiter told us the specials so we got that. He was friendly, funny, and checked on us frequently. I wished i had saved room for dessert. Maybe next time.Place was clean.Music was just right, not loud.

Stopped in with my wife and daughter for lunch, I had the bacon BBQ burger and hands down was one of the best burgers I have ever had! I think I may have found a new place to eat whenever we come up from the southwest corner of Arkansas next time!

The bacon and blue burger was amazing! The fries were cooked perfectly! Staff was super friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Second time dining here with the family. The food was just as good as the first time. We started with the cheese dip. It has a little kick but it goes great with the house made chips. My. Wife had the steak nachos (againi had the catfish poboy with some onion rings. Kids went a little crazy and got chicken and fries 😄. Everything came out hot and delicious. Under normal circumstances service could have been a little better but in their defence THEY GOT BUSY. All in all good stuff. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS AND TIP YOUR WAIT STAFF. If they cant pay their bills they WILL NOT be there next time.....Tipped 30%

We just finished dinner. We stopped on our way to the hospital and needed to hurry, so we ordered drinks and dinner at the same time. Our order was lost and the 3 families that came in after us got their food before us. My husband had to take our drinks to the bar to get refills. Once the server realized that our order was lost, he came back and retook our order after we had already been waiting over 30 minutes 😑 Then our order arrived and ALL 3 orders were wrong! We are in a hurry so we just ate it. I told him that my side salad was incorrect and he took it off the ticket. My husband ordered catfish and he got a shrimp po boy instead. My sons cheese burger was bread and meat, no cheese or ketchup etc. We paid our ticket, but we will not be back!

Food is great and drinks are cheap (brunch/happy hour). Service is slow and not the friendliest (but not mean). Adequate seating and parking.

Once upon a time this was a go to for us. Now, I doubt we will be back. We waited 30 minutes after we ordered for a cheese dip appetizer. 40 minutes later we left without our food because we hadnt gotten it. Instead of putting in our order before the rush of people that came in after, it was put in after all the them had ordered. 70 minutes we sat there. No one even told us this was happening. No update, or sorry it took so long. I was disappointed as we drove across town, through a construction backup for this.

The food was awful I ordered the shrimp poboy the shrimp was burnt the fries was burnt. My wife ordered the grilled chicken and steamed vegetables.the broccoli was burnt bad. The only thing I can say about this place is the beer was cold. And thats it. Wont ever go back

The food at this restaurant was prepared perfectly. When I was there I was able to meet the owner of the restaurant as well and you can tell he really cares about the food he makes there.

The burger was wonderful, nice fresh tasting meat. The grilled pork loin lunch special was delicious & came with two sides & a roll.

Great fried mushrooms (fresh and handmade). Wife had a delicious looking burger and I had a grilled shrimp po-boy sandwich. So tasty I didnt need any of the cocktail sauce on the side. Service was friendly and had a good time. Will definitely be going back!

The special, chicken breast was very tender and juicy. Sides were good, baked beans and veggies. The blackberry pie with ice cream was very good and service was first rate.

I normally dont leave 1 star on places but, this one gets it. Service was slow, like over the top slow even for a pandemic. My wifes shrimp and Grits were served cold and my burrito was barely at room temp. We will never be back and I wouldnt recommend it. I was hoping the food would make up for the Service, but nope!!!

We had a great experience here. The food and drinks were delicious plus the great music made it even better. Oh and service couldn’t have been better. Kudos

The salad was fresh and the salad dressings are home-made. All the food was super flavorful and delicious. And the service is quick and friendly.

Was looking for a good burger and found this place on Google. I ended up getting the Catfish Strip basket! Delicious!! I will definitely be going back to try the burger! Excellent food and service!!!

The food is always amazing and great customer service. You get a lot of food with the lunch specials. Sometimes i come just for a sm dinner salad.

This is just a great neighborhood restaurant thay we were lucky enough to find via Yelp on our visit to Little Rock. Excellent food and service. The blackened catfish is great along with the onion rings. The blacberry cobbler, chocolate chess pie and chocolate cake are all made in house and are all outstanding!!The owner came by our table to check on our experience and to chat and he is very gracious. This is a must go to restaurant.

If it weren’t for the fact that Terrell came out and attempted to smooth over this horrible experience, I would give them one star. My husband and I came to this restaurant to try something new. The wait time for our food was RIDICULOUSLY LONG and it took every thing in me not to act like I was feeling. Looking in the kitchen and watching the cook staff eating food as they were plating peoples food, should have been a huge indication of why it took so long for anyone in the restaurant to get their food. We finally decided to leave after waiting an hour and then being told it would be “at least 15-20 minutes” before we even got our food. This was an awful experience and I’ll never even attempt to go back to Alley Oops. On to the next venture bc this wasn’t it AT ALL!

Finally tried Alley Oops for the first time. 3 of us went for lunch and we all had the lunch special (chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, roll). It was SO good! Service was great too. Cant wait to return and try one of their desserts!

I went to Alley Oops on last Saturday. I ordered the fried catfish basket and the food was awesome. The service and attention was impeccable. If I could rate them a 10 out of 10 I would. Great job Alley Oops. I will return.

I really wanted to love this place. $2 mimosas were great, service was great and just the right amount of attentive without hovering, ya know? I had the shrimp and grits and that part was delicious! But it came with biscuits and “country gravy”, that was unlike any biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. I think it was made with chicken broth? And then the cup of grapes were unwashed, they had that dusty gritty feeling on them still. I left feeling like I’d give it a try again. Maybe they have new kitchen staff who hasn’t made biscuits and gravy before. I’ll come show them how. :)

Alley Oops has the best brunch in town, with homemade desserts. Homemade! We got the Oops Benedict, it has THE BEST fried chicken batter Ive ever had ( sorry, Grannyand my husband always gets the shrimp and grits. He claims they rival anything hes had in NOLA. The biscuits are so delicious. We love it. The owner comes around to check on everyone. They are certainly adhering to COVID guidelines. I recommend Ally Oops to everyone.

I had the shrimp quesadillas, a small salad and some fried cheese. It was all delicious!

Love, love this place! They make all of my Saturday’s special. Great staff, Great food, Great dessert options. If your looking for a nice environment while you taste good food... this is the place, check these guys out.

Went here for lunch a couple days ago. It was my first visit. Food was delicious and came out quick! I love that they have daily specials. Everything was great. Casual atmosphere. Friendly service!

Hubby and I have been here several times and we have never had bad service; the wait staff keeps the drinks full and they are always smiling. The menu is small and the prices a little on the high side, but the food is delicious and served in large portions. The quesadilla is so cheesy. The blue burger was fantastic except there was little too much blue cheese on it, so I picked it off and just ate it as I felt like it. No harm done. The burritos are swimming in cheese and sauce, the tortilla very soft and tasty. And the desserts?? They are out of this world, perhaps worth a visit just for them! Overall we love Ally Oops and we will be back.

Just not a big fan. Have been here several times over the past few years, but have made up our minds that we wont be back. The food is ok, but nothing to write home about. The people are friendly, which earned an extra star. My main complaint is price. We were last here for lunch on a Wednesday. I got chicken strips and 2 rolls for the price of $10.95. Add an extra 75¢ for ranch. Just expensive for that type of food. Over $30 for two people to eat lunch on a weekday.

Small place. Reallly good food. The service at the bar was good too. Only complaint was that while Arkansas game was one we were still listening to music. We were looking for a more sports bar feel. Nothing wrong with place just was not what were looking for that day. Food was very good though.

This was our first visit. Wonderful service. Nice variety on the menu. Large portions and deliciously prepared. Desserts were out of this world!! So glad we chose to eat lunch at Alley Oops. We will come again. The only complaint I have is that there are no van accessible handicapped parking places in front of the restaurant and the accessible sidewalk cut was steep.

Great little secret hidden right on Bowman. I have never regretted anything I have ordered here. I cant really hold my lack of self control against them when it comes to their amazing desserts.The staff is bar none some of the best in town. Try their brunch, it is amazing too.

This is a great place with great food. Wait staff very friendly and quick. Jeffrey always makes us feel welcome and love the desserts he displays, while walking around speaking to all the patrons, for the final icing on the cake. Gary always consistant in the kitchen and so quick to get our food prepared. Down home food with a down home taste. Highly recommend!!

First time here food was great service was excellent. I took off a star because my long island iced tea was a little week but still good. I am a big guy and I pride myself on eating all my food. I couldnt tonight there was just too much.

Come hungry. Very nice little place. Very attentive staff.Now the fun part... the food. Although they serve some standards (burgers, fish, etc.), they are more up scale and they offer some specials that you really must try. We have dined when they had special menus (Valentiness Day and tried things I never would have tried. (Delicious)And home made desserts.... just say yes!Do they have a bar? Yes, yes they do.ENJOY!

Very good food. The onions rings were crunchy but not overly done. The ranch tasted like they home made it and it was great. Im real picky on ranch. The tartar sauce was too tangy for my liking. The five alarm burger was juicy and very delicious. Just the right amount of spice. The waitress was the only one there but she was fast and friendly to all the people there. Would recommend this place
