All-Russian Exhibition Center in Zverevo
Description
Privilege
Nicest park in Moscow. Cool pavilions and looks great in winter with all the lights
MoreOne of the best exhibition center in Moscow
Many amazing museums and exhibitions to visit, not all of them might be open due to COVID-19 restrictions but still its one of the must-see in Moscow
MoreVery Very well done , after the Fall of USSR and birth of Russia still they sheriff the memories of all the States in a resplendent manner in the Exibition center , wonderful setting in a large place displaying all its cultural flavors
MoreVery beautiful place, and covers great area (actually, I should get used to large places in Moscow which is usual trait). There are lot of free exhibitions, polite personnel in info center, free transport to make a trip around the park. There are also pavilions that show Soviet republics cultures, but I would not be able to enter there due to the lack of time. Probably, everyone who comes to Moscow should visit this place.
MoreThis is a nice place to walk around, but more than half of the buildings are closed for renovation. The fountains and landscaping were beautiful. But, the cable cars were not operational and there was 3/4 of a ferris wheel. I dont know if they were building it, tearing it down, or repairing it. That being said it was very crowded and is an enjoyable way to spend a day.
MoreAmaing place! If we had more time at there we could visit here again. It has aquarius, park, and museums and historical place. If you are interested in space, science then you must visit here.We couldnt go to museum(they only allowed only for QR people at the time)But even though you can enjoy the peaceful places! If you enjoy this place then you have to spend one day for here. And if you have time and interested in aquarium then you should visit the aquarium at there. Many family visit there with children or partner. And accept that you can chilling around here :)one of best place during the trip in Moscow.Kinda far from the Red Square but worths it.Sprongly recommend 👍
MoreGreat place to get outside. Pleasant walk with some gorgeous fountains and buildings. Many if the buildings are undergoing restoration, but theres still plenty to see and experience.
MoreIts a standing remembrance during the Soviet Union time. It is a historical place. Ive got to see the beautiful building designs from the different countries who were members or allies during that period.
MoreFirst of all its huge. The full circle is about 8 km. and you shouldnt be disappointed. There are many pavilions dedicated to ex Soviet republics, but some are them applicable to selected theme, from honey to space. Plan whole day for visiting, entrance is free of charge but some activities inside may be for additional fee. My advise, discover in advance and plan your visit. It could be interesting and impressive.
MoreOne of the most amazing places in Moscow! The magnificence of each building showcases what every soviet country was about in terms of agriculture and their contribution to the USSR. When I went there (march, 2020there was a massive ice skate rink, where I had a blast! Strange it doesn’t appear in most of touristic reviews...
MoreBig Park with a lot Soviet culture architecture, fountains, alleys, cafes, amusement machines, entertainments. A lot space to work, or ride a bike or rollers (you could rent it hereor just chill on grass or on a bench or in a cafe. People of different ages can find something interesting here.
MoreVDNH (All-Russian Exhibition Centeris a stunning place to get leisure. There are many ways to entertain yourself, family and children. In addition to the fact that VDNH is a historical place with a large number of pavilions dedicated to different republics of the former Soviet Union, there are also many modern ways to have fun here. In wintertime, it is a huge (the biggest as Im informedice rink that is really affordable (also available with your own skates), in other seasons a lot of sidewalks and paths are perfect for just walking and riding a bike. As for me, Im a huge fan of the GREAT WALKING ALLEY that was constructed recently. Its length is more than 5km (or about 3.2miles). Its shape like a bulb with a base at the main entrance of VDNH. Its really interesting. Take a tour of it to observe different landscapes including a reservoir with fountains. If you are an avid photographer, you will definitely find ways to take a lot of cool pictures of both the complex itself and the square area of VDNH. Some pavilions are made in the style of the Renaissance. For example, rabbit breeding pavilion. Its number is 44. Its under reconstruction at the moment. However, I took great pictures of its facade. Im not aware much of the pavilions in detail, its up to you what of them to visit and find out more. I just totally recommend visiting the pavilion Космос which reveals the history of space shipbuilding and space exploration in 60th and 70th of the last century. Just in front of the pavilion, the space ship ВОСТОК is represented that is the exact copy of the original one. Yuri Gagarin, the first astronaut made the first manned flight in the Earth history into the space on just such a ship. Thats really great to look at it from a short distance! I liked the bottom view of the huge nozzles. There is a helicopter МИ-8, СУ-27 fighter, reusable space shuttle БУРАН on the square. They are fairly symbolic, convey the spirit of the Soviet Union.I liked the pavilion where the scope mock of Moscow City constructed. Its highlighted with illumination and looks like a real city. Take pictures and send them to your friends, nobody will distinguish that its the scope mock, not the real City😂For your convenience, there is two subway stations nearby VDNH - ВДНХ and Ботанический Сад. If your choice is the main entrance you need to get off the subway at ВДНХ station, if you prefer getting park area get off at Ботанический Сад station southern exit, 5 minutes walking to the destination. By the way, the bus #533 links both subway stations and the route runs just through the area of VDNH with plenty of stops. One more way to see attractions 😉In a word, you should visit this place and choose the type of leisure suitable for you. Very crowded at weekends. Admission is free, 24 hours open.I rate it five stars.
MoreOne of the most interesting places in Moscow, here you can see buildings representing all the former Soviet Union nationsYou can take a bicycle to help explore the placeThere are many snack, drinks and Ice-cream shop booths that you can buy fromIt will take from 3 to 5 hours to see most of the exhibit
MoreA must see!! This place is awe inspiring, the water fountains and the wide spaces are amazing and there are exhibitions and museums that will inform and entertain it is a good idea to check what you want to see before you go so that you can plan better.I didn’t but went to the space museum which I actually why I went here. There is so much more...
MoreVery large areal with pavilions from different countries. Eating stands, food courts, restaurants, space shuttles, rockets and planes.
MoreIts mid-November now. Kind of dead season. All green has gone. All museums and exhibitions are open though. They are building an all-weather skating ring around the fontains. Total 500m length if Im not wrong.
MoreA huge complex with various pavilions and monuments and even a small space centre. Unfortunately a lot of the place was under renovation when we were there, but it was still very impressive nevertheless.
MoreA relaxing place with a beautiful garden attached to it. This whole park complex is a collection of exhibits and monuments to Russian achievements. Covering an easy walk of around one kilometre in length, you move from one spectacular monument to the next. The exhibition is massive, the floral arrangements are amazing. One day is not enough to see everything. The main entrance to the park is just behind the wonderful Cosmonaut Museum. Once you go through the grand looking Stalinist entrance you soon arrive at the exhibition pavilions, fountains and food kiosks and cafes. To whom love walking and taking photos it’s the right place .
MoreGreat public attraction in Moscow! A must visit! Lovely gardens, environment, fun music all around! Can easily spend more than a day over! Lots of different interesting exhibitions on site, awesome aquarium, space museums, history museums. Great for families or even for singles looking to have a joyful day!
MoreAmazing day here at the All Russian Exhibition Center. It was also Moscow day, Septe 7th. So it was very busy. But everyone was enjoying the day. Such amazing buildings, and flower arrangements in the gardens.
MoreGorgeous park with many expo buildings to enter.I recommend coming here with energy to walk around, you dont want to miss something cool, like rockets, or the Moscow city Aquarium, take a picture with the shining fountains and have a good picnic while you are at it.
MoreThe place represents language, culture, space and other thing. A must visit place in moscow. Worth seeing. The place is very wide and open. Its really amazing and very beautiful. Specially the monuments are great pieces of architecture and artwork. Really enjoyed the place.
MoreAwesome, loved seeing all the different countries buildings. Worth seeing for sure!
MoreI love this place. Definitely worth it. Beware though, on the internet they say they open at 9, but actually everything starts to live here at 10, maybe 11. A lot of the buildings are closed and undergo a reconstruction, so dont be surprised.
MoreVDNH became really beautiful park to walk and there are plenty things to see. Gorgeous fountains, huge walkjng aerea, cafes. In quite walking distance you can rent an electric scooter to see it all. There is Marine(aquariumscenter even but havent been yet. Great places to enjoy a day but can be overcrowded.
MoreA must see! The park is immense and allows you to discover soviet times pavilions representing the various republics of the former USSR. You can easily spend the day exploring the various buildings and recover in the quiet surrounding park.
MoreThe summer atmosphere is simply amazing! Children playing everywhere, events, music and ice cream! It has several wonderful and big buildings, including two awesome fountains.I discovered this place on my last day in Moscow, I would hate to miss that.
MoreA must visit place in Moscow after the red square. Its located near the moscow space museum. You will sure to get a Soviet nostalgia here. Lot of buildings representing each and every Soviet republics of the former USSR.There is also a rocket, spaceship and various aircrafts from the former USSR ( mig jets and mi choppersput up for exhibition.
MoreLots of empty spaces, weird and unnecessarily large architecture and sculptures. Be prepared fo a long walk with nothing to see there. USSR at its finest... Perhaps there is something of interest during fairs or other events.
MoreBeautiful place. I was there in Feb 2019 and a lot was being done (reconstruction of main alley, facelift of a few Pavilionsbut you could imagine how beautiful things will be in the summer of 2019...Close to subwayPlenty of great places to eatEach Pavilion represents a country of ex USSR that "exhibited" their achievements in science, crafts, foods and beverages, electronics and more. Its a little different now. But still a great site to seeMoskvarium - is a big aquarium. Great for trips with kids. Beautiful new structure.
MoreWe were in Russia for the first time in Moscow at that time and went for a walk around the hotel and arrived at this park exhibition center ( or vdnkh and were amazed it was really beautiful and all buildings and how good the food was, if you go take the time there is so much to see. I Really loved it !
MoreThe All-Russian exhibition centre in Moscow is huge! Couldnt fully explore the entire exhibition grounds even though we spent hours here. It is a beautifully well-planned place. They have restrooms and conveniences. Spacious parking lot too. Had an awesome exhibition experience here.
MoreGreat place, actually. However, there are lots of things to see before than this park, so you may have it in below at to see list. I even may say that, especially at this cold time, no need to come, at all. In summer, you may come and have a rest...
MoreI love spending time at the VDNCh and its got so much prettier during the past ten years or so! Theyve renovated a lot of the pavilions, which now have cool exhibits on space or robot technology or fashion. In the winter there are ice skating rings everywhere (but the place is also packed with people). In summer, one can see the prettiest flowers and the architecture is also marvelous.
MoreIts amazing. Huge park. With lots of open areas, that people enjoy roller skating, cycling, etc. The buildings are beyond beautiful. On holidays you can find an amusement park inside, many options for drinks and very delicious foods. Also, it has several hangars in which each one of them tells a feature or historic event from the Soviet Union. Worth it.
MoreA Must visit place in Moscow.. You get to see different types of buildings dedicated to different themes - all intricate and beautifully designed, which is the hallmark of Russian Architecture
MoreI love this place in general especially at night. Sadly the pavilions do close at 18:00. But for the rest its enjoyable to take a walk in the evening . There are speakers all around that play soft music which makes the promenade all the more enjoyable !
MoreWhat an amazing place! Massive pavilions, entry arches and fountains. Free entry, big free parking (we came on Monday and it was free, not sure about other days). Landscaped alleys, roses everywhere. Just loved the place. Rocket that took astronaut Gagarin to space is right next to Cosmos museum, along with military planes and helicopters. Just loved this park! Must visit if you are in Moscow, you won’t regret.
MoreThe park itself is really beautiful and so big. Takes time to explore but its worth it. Sadly right now maybe over 60% of expositions and houses are under the reconstruction so I would suggest coming later. Also try the delicious donuts that they sell close to the entrance on the left. Delicious! Dont forget to stop in the space museum and Moskvarium.
MoreBuilt 70 years ago and now undergoing restoration this is a must see when visiting Moscow. Splendid fountains, wide alleys, spectacular pavillions - pay special attention to Space - it boasts state of the art interactive exhibitions, exciting both for kids and adults.
MoreAwesome monuments featuring buildings by former soviet union countries. The fountain featuring ladies in gold in their traditional dresses from all the soviet countries is a must see. Big park to stroll around. Unfortunately under construction right now. There are stalls with snacks and ice cream. Tourists should be aware that you have to pay 5 times the price than in regular stores.
MoreWhere to start! Have learned a great deal about Russia or former CCCP, at least I have thought so! Especially in the light of recent events we are being pumped so many desinformation about this country. At least this is my point of view. Russian and these people have a lot to offer. Have visited Moscow with certain amount of prejudice, and of course I know there is more to Russia apart from Moscow and its glamour! This Park ist hugh and beautiful, some parts resemble to Belvedere and Schönbrunn! Entrance is just amazing, going through to the central fountain and surrounding houses (of former and present republicsnot being the most beautiful par of the park but the houses are worth visiting! And the fountain is marveles. Area is really nice if you would like to lay around or visit Museum or Moskvarium. Some parts of the park are still under construction! We have been there in July 2018. Would highly recommend it, for singles or pairs and people with joung children.
MoreAlthough it was under construction and maintenance but it was Beautiful and too many attractions and things do to were around, the only problem is that there is nothing written in English. I was getting the information about each exhibition with the help of google which it was very time consuming. please write down some english as well.
MoreLots to see for every viewer ! Great, gorgeous place and they always have something going on over there, lots different museums, monuments and fountains covered in gold, you cant go wrong ! Better to see it once with your own eyes than hear about it a hundred times !
MoreA really interesting park with good facilities, but slightly disappointing to see so much behind fences or under construction during what must be the busiest tourist period in recent years (the World Cup). I’d still recommend you head up here though.
MoreThis place is massive! Tons of things to see and do. To had most of if us under construction and the exhibits are not open. Would give it a 4stars rating but walking around mid and dirt using my imagination of what it will be in year or so doesnt help me understand what it means later. Affordable with a spectacular space exploration exzibet. Minus the construction this is a must see for all ages...
MoreThis park is the best and most beautiful park in Moscow. Even if you dont like science and history, youll enjoy for sure.+ If you dont like long walks, you can easily rent a bike or skate near the entrance of the park.
MoreGreat place to walk around! The architecture is quite amazing. Because this place celebrates the many cultures that once made up the USSR, each building carries its own unique style. There are many things to see here.Lots of paid museums and amusements. But just walking around is nice to. The fountain is beautiful and a must see during warmer months!
MoreGreat place with a lot of mixed activities and food. Long distances to walk to bring your best walking shoes. In winter you can skate on a big track in the middle. There also is a big aquarium here to visit among other things.
