Very beautiful place, and covers great area (actually, I should get used to large places in Moscow which is usual trait). There are lot of free exhibitions, polite personnel in info center, free transport to make a trip around the park. There are also pavilions that show Soviet republics cultures, but I would not be able to enter there due to the lack of time. Probably, everyone who comes to Moscow should visit this place.

This is a nice place to walk around, but more than half of the buildings are closed for renovation. The fountains and landscaping were beautiful. But, the cable cars were not operational and there was 3/4 of a ferris wheel. I dont know if they were building it, tearing it down, or repairing it. That being said it was very crowded and is an enjoyable way to spend a day.

First of all its huge. The full circle is about 8 km. and you shouldnt be disappointed. There are many pavilions dedicated to ex Soviet republics, but some are them applicable to selected theme, from honey to space. Plan whole day for visiting, entrance is free of charge but some activities inside may be for additional fee. My advise, discover in advance and plan your visit. It could be interesting and impressive.

One of the most amazing places in Moscow! The magnificence of each building showcases what every soviet country was about in terms of agriculture and their contribution to the USSR. When I went there (march, 2020there was a massive ice skate rink, where I had a blast! Strange it doesn’t appear in most of touristic reviews...

VDNH (All-Russian Exhibition Centeris a stunning place to get leisure. There are many ways to entertain yourself, family and children. In addition to the fact that VDNH is a historical place with a large number of pavilions dedicated to different republics of the former Soviet Union, there are also many modern ways to have fun here. In wintertime, it is a huge (the biggest as Im informedice rink that is really affordable (also available with your own skates), in other seasons a lot of sidewalks and paths are perfect for just walking and riding a bike. As for me, Im a huge fan of the GREAT WALKING ALLEY that was constructed recently. Its length is more than 5km (or about 3.2miles). Its shape like a bulb with a base at the main entrance of VDNH. Its really interesting. Take a tour of it to observe different landscapes including a reservoir with fountains. If you are an avid photographer, you will definitely find ways to take a lot of cool pictures of both the complex itself and the square area of VDNH. Some pavilions are made in the style of the Renaissance. For example, rabbit breeding pavilion. Its number is 44. Its under reconstruction at the moment. However, I took great pictures of its facade. Im not aware much of the pavilions in detail, its up to you what of them to visit and find out more. I just totally recommend visiting the pavilion Космос which reveals the history of space shipbuilding and space exploration in 60th and 70th of the last century. Just in front of the pavilion, the space ship ВОСТОК is represented that is the exact copy of the original one. Yuri Gagarin, the first astronaut made the first manned flight in the Earth history into the space on just such a ship. Thats really great to look at it from a short distance! I liked the bottom view of the huge nozzles. There is a helicopter МИ-8, СУ-27 fighter, reusable space shuttle БУРАН on the square. They are fairly symbolic, convey the spirit of the Soviet Union.I liked the pavilion where the scope mock of Moscow City constructed. Its highlighted with illumination and looks like a real city. Take pictures and send them to your friends, nobody will distinguish that its the scope mock, not the real City😂For your convenience, there is two subway stations nearby VDNH - ВДНХ and Ботанический Сад. If your choice is the main entrance you need to get off the subway at ВДНХ station, if you prefer getting park area get off at Ботанический Сад station southern exit, 5 minutes walking to the destination. By the way, the bus #533 links both subway stations and the route runs just through the area of VDNH with plenty of stops. One more way to see attractions 😉In a word, you should visit this place and choose the type of leisure suitable for you. Very crowded at weekends. Admission is free, 24 hours open.I rate it five stars.

A relaxing place with a beautiful garden attached to it. This whole park complex is a collection of exhibits and monuments to Russian achievements. Covering an easy walk of around one kilometre in length, you move from one spectacular monument to the next. The exhibition is massive, the floral arrangements are amazing. One day is not enough to see everything. The main entrance to the park is just behind the wonderful Cosmonaut Museum. Once you go through the grand looking Stalinist entrance you soon arrive at the exhibition pavilions, fountains and food kiosks and cafes. To whom love walking and taking photos it’s the right place .

Beautiful place. I was there in Feb 2019 and a lot was being done (reconstruction of main alley, facelift of a few Pavilionsbut you could imagine how beautiful things will be in the summer of 2019...Close to subwayPlenty of great places to eatEach Pavilion represents a country of ex USSR that "exhibited" their achievements in science, crafts, foods and beverages, electronics and more. Its a little different now. But still a great site to seeMoskvarium - is a big aquarium. Great for trips with kids. Beautiful new structure.

Great place, actually. However, there are lots of things to see before than this park, so you may have it in below at to see list. I even may say that, especially at this cold time, no need to come, at all. In summer, you may come and have a rest...

I love spending time at the VDNCh and its got so much prettier during the past ten years or so! Theyve renovated a lot of the pavilions, which now have cool exhibits on space or robot technology or fashion. In the winter there are ice skating rings everywhere (but the place is also packed with people). In summer, one can see the prettiest flowers and the architecture is also marvelous.

Its amazing. Huge park. With lots of open areas, that people enjoy roller skating, cycling, etc. The buildings are beyond beautiful. On holidays you can find an amusement park inside, many options for drinks and very delicious foods. Also, it has several hangars in which each one of them tells a feature or historic event from the Soviet Union. Worth it.

What an amazing place! Massive pavilions, entry arches and fountains. Free entry, big free parking (we came on Monday and it was free, not sure about other days). Landscaped alleys, roses everywhere. Just loved the place. Rocket that took astronaut Gagarin to space is right next to Cosmos museum, along with military planes and helicopters. Just loved this park! Must visit if you are in Moscow, you won’t regret.

The park itself is really beautiful and so big. Takes time to explore but its worth it. Sadly right now maybe over 60% of expositions and houses are under the reconstruction so I would suggest coming later. Also try the delicious donuts that they sell close to the entrance on the left. Delicious! Dont forget to stop in the space museum and Moskvarium.

Awesome monuments featuring buildings by former soviet union countries. The fountain featuring ladies in gold in their traditional dresses from all the soviet countries is a must see. Big park to stroll around. Unfortunately under construction right now. There are stalls with snacks and ice cream. Tourists should be aware that you have to pay 5 times the price than in regular stores.

Where to start! Have learned a great deal about Russia or former CCCP, at least I have thought so! Especially in the light of recent events we are being pumped so many desinformation about this country. At least this is my point of view. Russian and these people have a lot to offer. Have visited Moscow with certain amount of prejudice, and of course I know there is more to Russia apart from Moscow and its glamour! This Park ist hugh and beautiful, some parts resemble to Belvedere and Schönbrunn! Entrance is just amazing, going through to the central fountain and surrounding houses (of former and present republicsnot being the most beautiful par of the park but the houses are worth visiting! And the fountain is marveles. Area is really nice if you would like to lay around or visit Museum or Moskvarium. Some parts of the park are still under construction! We have been there in July 2018. Would highly recommend it, for singles or pairs and people with joung children.

This place is massive! Tons of things to see and do. To had most of if us under construction and the exhibits are not open. Would give it a 4stars rating but walking around mid and dirt using my imagination of what it will be in year or so doesnt help me understand what it means later. Affordable with a spectacular space exploration exzibet. Minus the construction this is a must see for all ages...
