All Nations Park - Park and Garden in Northcote, Australia
A fair bit of glass bottles, cans, and booze boxes in the native vegetation section behind the Anzac memorial.Otherwise the park has a nice layout, multiple activities in different zones. Good for off lead dog walking and meeting other owners.Childrens playground, barbecue area, multiple water fountains (although the one at the childrens playground doesnt work atm), skate park, permanent exercise equipment, woodlands, pond, and a Lookout.Park backs onto a shopping centre, and apart from a random eye-sore tower block it is a nice setting.
Beautiful park. Great playareas.
i love riding my bike around here
This place is awesome. Our kids call it the super park! There are two kids playgrounds plus an exercise park, as well as a skate park for big kids including a bowl, a small ramp for the little kids and a half court basketball court. Theres heaps of walking trails and places to picnic. The view from the top of the hill is awesome.
lovely place, great playground!
Great for dog walking and adventures outside.
Beautiful park. Came here for a photoshoot with my partner and my dog, first time being there and we all had a good time. Very well set out and maintained.
Great place to adventure with my son, close to high street for many food and Cafe options!
Great place to let the dogs run free or even just for a walk
Love this place. Big and varied dog park in northcote. Toilets, a lake, a big hill. Winding paths. Two bbq areas and separate playgrounds. Access to Northcote plaza and shops. It’s a Northcote institution.
This park is equipped with all of the necessary amenities, including an open gym space, public restrooms, and a very nice place to spend time with your children playing, as well as a very good place to play with pets.
A great park, having most of the features you would want. A hill lookout, a shopping centre, skatepark, playgrounds, basketball courts and even so far to put a mountain bike jump is the east section of the park. Very active, I think many people will love it.
Good fun:big park, great for kids to ride around!
My family loves this park as it is a convenient spot for a quick walk out and there is compact playground for kids, as well as shopping centre with super market etc around.
Great big park with open grass spaces in the middle surrounded by trees and shrub lots of places to sit and relax but there are assigned sections for off-leash.Playground, Basketball Half-court, Skate Park and Ramp nearby for the kids. Please be mindful of other owners in this shared space as it is a lovely park to bring your pooch.
I love this dog park, and so does my dog. Weve made good friends here of the canine and human variety.
This park is a great spot to relax. I love coming here with my family. Due to some great big shopping complexes around, the parking is never an issue. At the end of a great day in the park, the availalble food choices from this place within walking distances are great too.The community spirit that I have witnessed in this park is second to none.
We had an Australia Day BBQ and it was good to see the BBQ was quite clean to begin with. Great place to bring your kids to the playground as well.
This park has something for everyone. A few lovely play areas, a rocky out crop, paths for bike riding and roller blading. Its lacking in toilets but in terms of space, its a winner.
This park has got it all. Great walks along maintained pathways or gravel through open areas in full sun, to shaded spots in quiet nooks. Playgrounds for the kids, lawn for the fur kids and ample parking
Great space for jog and theres also exercise equipment at the park. Theres playground equipment for the kids. A dog friendly park.
Ideal, friendly parklands, great for family & dog walking.Probably not the smartest venue to attend a social media driven protest amongst many other dull brained people who cannot think for themselves, but are all about turning up to areas to protest...But man cant these jokers leg it when there is the slightest bit of advance from any vicpol member.Theyre typically easy to spot as they often adopt an almost na-zi like symbolism with their outstretched arms filming live to any social platform they can log into.Beware also of the skateboard carrying tribal land protectant. He will defend this piece of bushland with staunch vigor, particularly should any independent news reporter filming come within 2.5 meters of this area. Its pity his personal appearance isnt attended to as well as surrounding garden beds.
Lovely dog friendly park with playgrounds, plenty of parking, toilet facilities, BBQ area, well maintained grass and a short adventure up a spiralling rock hill. Perfect for picnics.
Such a lovely place for a walk and stunning views across Melbourne, especially during sunset. Amazing transformation from the old rubbish tip it used to be!
Great for dog lovers and for watching dogs be off on leash. Animated!
Loving the off lead park 🐶 🐕 🐩 . Its awesome. (ps. the lake has some turtles in it if you look carefully)
Nice park to walk around, especially in lockdowns. The gold head statue is a unique northcote attraction. Good playground for kids with some modern equipment. Bbq facilities too.
Family and dog friendly park. Great city views, basketball ring, skatepark and lake. Great for picnics, walks and spending time with friends and family. Close to public transport and shops.
I have to admit this place is fantastic.... Ive been there a few times and it accommodates all types and all ages. If you want a kick theres space, if you want a seat there are seats, want a walk there are heaps of paths, want a lie down theres lovely grass, want something to eat theres a shopping centre next door..... enjoy!
Brilliant park. Nice lookout over the suburbs from the top of the rock hill. Adjacent Northcote Plaza shopping centre makes it easy to bring snacks or a picnic to the park. Two lovely playgrounds at the eastern and southern sides with shade and a sand pit.Dog off-lead area on the eastern side is popular and has dog fountains. The skate park, basketball courts, wetland area, and plentiful shade trees make this a really well-rounded, well-maintained park. Small, local community-created art installations dotted around the nooks of the park give it an ultimately cosy community feel.I feel very grateful to live only one block away.
Very clean..park. Advised to avoid toilet designed for an ulterior. North has taken a Swing to the left..no need wee on a tree.Everyone has a little quirk.Culture predominant, many present in this environment.Children a plenty if you can understand no room for mistakes. Thanks for Reading
A popular park with good amentities in the heart of Northcote suburbia. There is a playground, outdoor powered BBQ area with undercover eating areas, tree lined, winding pathways passing outdoor gym equipment and open grassy areas for rest or physical activity. Then you can climb the central hill for a good look of the surrounds and great city sunsets. Wetlands with more paths, a skate-park and seating complete the northwest corner of the park. Great for families, picnics, walks, exercise or meetups with friends, although not very good for sport at the grassy areas are neither big nor flat.
OK, This place, its amazing. i may have to ride 7 ks one way to get there but it is worth it. the hilltop has beautiful views of the city. Plenty of walking tracks and nice playgrounds, fitness parks and off road bike tracks to offer.very convenient if you are taking public transport, you have buses, tram route 86 which runs from the city out to Bundoora, and the Mernda line.If your planning on a picnic, well the park is directly behind a shopping plaza, so if you want more snacks, just a 3 minute walk from the parkAs a local, this is one of the best parks i have seen. the views of the city and other parts of Melbourne are phenomenal. In the cold and clear wintry mornings, sometimes you may even see the fog clearing from the CBD.To conclude, if you love exercise, walking tracks, picnics, off-road bike riding and nice views, come to All Nations Park.P.S. I will add photos soon 😀
Its a great place to be. Heaps of different stuff for kids to do and explore. Awesome skatepark too. Close to shops for coffee and snacks.
Amazing multi-purpose park. Skate facilities, basketball court, walking & bike tracks, dog friendly (PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG& right beside a police station so its relatively safe.*The skate park and basketball ring are locked up during stage 4 restrictions.
Great place for dogs as there is a big off-lead area.
Great Views, nice lotta room to have your own space and still get a feeling of community. The top of the hill is the absolute best feature of the park - usually a nice breeze, amazing view of Northcote and beyond reminding you are lord of all you survey! Offers great sunsets and a great chill space. There is a free fully stocked out “human gravity gym” lots of machines - goodly amount of playgrounds for the younger - a playground that is particularly designed so Kids in wheelchairs can join in.Lots of BBQ set-ups, lots of trees:-Great shade green grass as far as the eye can see, plentiful, well stocked, CLEAN public toilets, really good water stations. Bike maintenance station. An EXCEPTIONAL Skate Park, for a suburban build - and of course, drumroll please! ..... a duck pond
I like going to this park. Its very peaceful. Specially the view from the top is very eye treating. You can take a long walk or just spend few hours playing with your kids here. Very clean and tidy park.
Nice little park. Some swings and adventure playground. Lots of paths coming and going. I dont remember there being a toilet. There is undercover picnic facilities. Shopping centre and houses near by. Parking in the shopping centre is the go as the area in general would be described as cramped. Typical large city. Yuk. Quite a popular area and felt pretty safe.
A good place to relax, jog, exercise, and take your children to play. Also properly equipped with toilets which is a plus - although I wish they could maintain its cleanliness. It’s close to Northcote Plaza - Coles, K-mart, coffee shops, AU Post, etc.; close to transportation for people who don’t have cars; all good except for some dog owners who don’t know how to properly curb their dogs that’s why you need to be careful where you’re walking or you’ll end up stepping on dog poop.
A great park. Weve had several kids birthday parties here. One or two of the BBQs dont seem to work, and it would be nice if there was more shade, but neither of those defects have significantly detracted from the good times weve had. The playgrounds are fun and big enough for somewhat older kids to still enjoy.
Large park in Northcote with bbq and play areas. Public toilets and picnic areas also. Easy to get to from Northcote High Street and seems to be a popular park for locals. Plenty of dogs about on the day we visited. Nothing especially special about this park - but it’s a park none the less! Enjoy and make sure you pick up after you dog please.
This is a wonderful park for walking, exercising, playing, running and dog exercise. It is always great to see it filled with people, children and dogs whenever I walk through. It is beautifully maintained by the Shire and a credit to them. I especially love the extra Olive trees which will give residents access to picking and preparing their own as the trees grow bigger and more abundant. More fruit trees and some herb gardens for communal gardening and harvesting could add to building community around this park. Love to see it happen.
This park has had a positive impact in the surrounding community. Various play areas for children, dog friendly areas, walking paths and open recreation areas. Several BBQ spots for picnics and celebrations. Great place to spend time. Enjoy your visit.
Dog friendly, family friendly and well located near Northcote Plaza so good coffee nearby.
Great park for dogowners with a large off lead area. The park staff are very friendly. Special shout out to Matthew!
Its a pleasure to have such a wonderful park in the middle of Northcote. If you start walking from Northcote plaza you will notice all the olive trees and the massive rock formation. Walking through fields of green grass and kids play areas you will eventually come to the native Australian section, which I have explored many times over.I Love this park, it has such a fantastic layout with fruit trees and classic Australian bush land. Also very dog friendly, there are many dogs in the dog park area and owners who look out for there dogs. Great place to introduce your newly vaccinated puppy to other dogs.
Loves the park top view for nice photo shoots on top! :)
This is a great community park with lots of green area, dog friendly and quite place for reading a book. We live near the park and often see families and dog living peopleComing around to relax and some fun.The park is walking distance from tram 86 stop 33, Croxton train station and Northcote shopping mall. There are regular community events going on so good to start tuned on the event calendar!
This is such a great park; it is big and it has activities available for all walks of life. There is a large area dedicated to dogs and their carers, there are at least two childrens play equipment areas with sand play areas, there is an awesome skateboard and scooter ramp/tricks space for both kids and adults. There is also a basketball court and barbecue area. There is a lake with ducks and other waterbirds, a huge rock-climbing/adventure/maze area which gives a pretty special view of the Melbourne City skyline.
