Great service, fantastic food!
😨
Very good food
Love it come every Sunday with my family!!! Los Amo
Found this place by accident and all I have to say is wow! A small hole in the wall restaurant with great prices and generous portions. Had a cheese pupusa and it was excellent! The plantains did not disappoint either. The chicken was seasoned well and the rice was good. Definitely going back the next time Im in town!
MorePupusas were good, carne asada tacos were super dry, absolutely no taste to them & tasted old. Told the waiter about it & it was left on my receipt, therefore it was part of her tip.
MorePossibly the best food Ive had in the BR area.
Great food and service. I had bean and cheese papusas and they were just what I wanted - hot and fresh and awesome toppings. The plantains were amazing. Recommend and will return.
MoreGreat pupusas and better service
The food here is authentic Latin food. 😋 no complaints 👌
Great pupusas and the Caldo de Res was also good. A little on the pricy side, spent about $110 for meal, soft drinks and tip for 2 adults and 3 kids.
MoreI love the restaurant absolutely 100% great tasting food
Customer service was okay. The male server we had was very attentive, female server snatched the food out of my hand because I asked her nicely to take my food back because I didn’t like it. I had the carne asada tacos. They were cold, no taste to them and the meat was very rough. I swapped it out for chicken tacos and those were no better. The chicken was dry and had no taste to them.
MoreI found this place on Waitr and decided to give it a try. The food was great. And the servings were very generous. I will be a repeat customer for sure!!
MoreGreat Food and even greater people; a very nice, hometown Hispanic restaurant where one can still get a cheeseburger and fries!
MoreI found this place on google and decided to give it a try. The pupusas were great and the sauces were really good too. I had the chicken steak and ribs which were great also. The tortillas were homemade and so good. Overall, it was a great experience and we reviewed excellent service. The woman who was our waitress was very nice.
MoreAwesome food was very good it was my first time there 💯💯🤗🤗🤗🤗
Great food, great service, large portions.
Best pupusas in town! Definitely the best Salvadoran restaurant in Baton Rouge. Very friendly service as well.
MoreAmazing food every dish are delicious the beef soup is favorite ☺️😀
Let the good "pupusas" time roll.... flavor..smell..a delicious morsel of heaven on earth.
MoreBest Pupusas Ive found in Baton Rouge. The home made tortillas were excellent too.
MoreFirst time trying papusas. They were excellent. Service was very prompt and friendly.
MoreThe food was fantastic and the prices are great. We tried the pupusas and baleadas and the portions are massive - much more than two people could eat at once. I cant wait to order again and try more of what they have to offer.
MoreAwesome pupusas. Loved them. Look forward to going back.
The food was fantastic! I would definitely go again. She even brought us samples of drinks before we decided what to order.
MoreThis is a delightful find. Tucked away in a strip mall, this restaurant has a full menu for lunch and dinner. All seafood is fresh. We opted for the redfish with mashed potatoes and seasoned brussel sprouts $29 pp. From 11am to 3pm you can include a bloody Mary or martini for $1.50 each...a bargain. The fish was served with a buttery lemon sauce. The sides were delicious...we would return. The service was excellent and the atmosphere private and intimate. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. So happy we found this hidden gem.
MoreHonduran tile layers asked me if I’d like a pupusa for lunch. Sure. It was quite tasty and will definitely go by Alicias in the near future.
MoreGreat food , delicious , great services very cleaned , met the owner and it was a pleasure .I do recommend Alicia s restaurant.
MoreVery good and fresh food. Definitely I highly. Recomend this place the attention as well is very good. I try to eat healthy and when I asked for something special like salad or make my own healthy plate the owner always do it for me which is great.
MoreIve never eaten authentic Honduran food or generic Honduran food before. The food was pretty good. The bread and pork chops was dry, but it was all cooked to perfection.
MoreSo amazing! This place is a hidden gem. Plantains were spot on. I got a little of everything.
MorePupusas are really good, staff is very friendly and the salsa verde is awesome
Tacos, rice and refried beans, even over Waitr! I could NOT choose which sauce was better, the green or the red! Will try the traditional cuisine next!
MoreDelicious and amazing food! I definitely will come back again! Affordable price.
The food here is so insanely good. If you arent sure try a Pupusas. And the fried tamales are a must!!Fair warning some of the staff may not be well versed in English but that in no way limits the experience or their desire to ensure good service.
MoreIf you like Central American food, you like Alicias.Stand outs are the Pupusas and the pork Tamale was pretty good too ....and Pico believe it or not.Fast attentive service, nice place
MoreThe pupusas are excellent. I have always gotten consistently exceptional food here. Highly recommended!!!
MoreWe ate the loroco, pork and bean, and cheese pupusas. As well as the Fried plantain and Fried Corn tamales. The pupusas were freshly made, soft, and stuffed full of meat and cheese. The fried plantain was very good and we received more than we expected. The fried corn tamales are amazing and exactly what we were craving! Overall a wonderful experience with delicious food and friendly service. We will definitely be back!!!
MoreTienen muy buen servicio, hacen agua frescas y comida calientita. Lo que probé no pica. Muy buen tortillas. Comida salvadoreña.Very good service, fresh hot food and try an agua fresca just pick a flavor theyre all fresh fruit. This is Salvadoran food not Mexican so its not spicy unless you ask for the Mexican menu items. This time, my plate came with the avocado which I want to say was the most fresh and huge Ive tried despite other reviews. The Mexican guy I was with really liked his plate with Mexican rice, beans, pork, avocado. Our tortillas were thick hot n fresh.
Moreexcellent food, and if Sandra is your server she will take care of you; most pleasant
MoreThe flavor food was good; but the vegetables in the soup wasn’t good cook. The fried fish are so grease but good. But the worst was the owner and his actitud; he was a little rude at the moment of check out.
MoreThe food was delicious and the staff were very nice. Their bread pudding was incredible!
MoreGreat food and good service. I will be going back soon.
Awesome!!!! The food is really really good. I have a srong affinity for Central American and African food so Alicias really hits the spot. Please get the sweet fried plantains and pupusas. You wont be disappointed!! This is one of my new found regular spots.
MoreWe ordered beef tacos for two for lunch. Probably the worst tacos Ive ever been served anywhere. Simply could not be eaten. Took them home and the dog ate the tortillas but refused to eat the meat (!).
MoreSuch great food and great prices too.. pupusas were amazing.
I just discovered this place! Pupusas con puerco were tasty, not too greasy and good amount of pork compared to others. Ill be back.
MoreReally good, authentic Salvadorean food! The prices are reasonable, and you get a lot of food for your buck. The desserts are tasty as well, so give those a try too.
MoreI just had lunch at Alicias and it was wonderful! The pupusas were homemade and flavorful, and were served with a vinegary cabbage slaw that was fresh and crunchy. The taco lengua I had was tender on a fresh corn tortilla. My friends steak (which I had a few bites from :)was marinated, it was very tender and seasoned well. This was our first time trying Alicias and we will definitely be back! Expect to wait a little while (maybe 20 minutes or sosince the food is fresh and handmade, but it is 100% worth the wait. Take a friend and enjoy some conversation while you wait for dinner!
