Alhambra Water Tower - Historical landmark in Country Walk, United States
Another one of these majestic spots in Coral Gables. Sun shines during set giving the illusion it’s lighting up the glass spherical top. Must see!
Very interesting find in the middle of a neighborhood and cool to see!
After my visit to the Alhambra Water Tower I found information about this tower and now I know that was built in 1924. It is a splendid example of the architectural beauty that typifies Miami’s Master Suburb. Very calm place. There is no attraction, so if you want to have fun, it not right place. My kids said that it was boring and we left that place.Khumoyun Akhmadjonov
A little bit of history and architecture in a city full of both (Coral Gables). The tower is a work of art and makes for a good subject for those into photography.
Historical lighthouse in the heart of Coral Gables, Florida.
cool spot !
Buen lugar la atención súper buena calidad humana
Nothing to really do here but its fun to look at it 🙂
Another beautiful site to see if you are in Coral Gables. The artist Teo Hooks parents house is across the street. The house now belongs to his sister Margaret.
Theres nothing to do here except look but I think its worth it. Its just a tower in the middle of a neighborhood but it has an interesting story and its very beautiful. I also saw a long neck white bird guarding the grounds 😛
A Coral Gables treasure we hope some developer with money and influence in the Commission dont destroy!
Muy bello lugar y emblemático.
absolutely beautiful location in the gables. great for pictures!
Others wont appreciate it, but if you are cycling around alhambra circle, youd be amazed by this historic structure. It would be worth it to add this to your stop over list during a bike ride.
Beautiful hidden Coral Gables gem
Love this hidden location - wish it had access to go inside
There is a pokemon go gym on the tower
Is an historical place..whit easy access in the middle of Coral Gables
Part of history
15 Mar 2020 - There isnt much to this attraction, but its sooooo worth the trip. Its a very peaceful and beautiful site, situated in an upscale residential neighboorhood. Its a welcoming and serene environment. Today was a beautiful day, with perfect blue skies. The pictures I attached here turned out beautifully. Please have a look and slam the thumbs-up below!
Good scenery
A nice architecture of a lighthouse built in 1924 which are far away from the sea. This shape of a lighthouse is to cover the steel tank of water supply of the old Coral Gables
Beautiful landmark
Pretty neat not a big park but good to relax
Absolutely breathtaking, a sight to be seen up close in the evening when it is illuminated. You may have driven by it or seen the tip of it over the trees and houses of Coral Gables but you truly cant appreciate it until you walk its parameter. A beautiful example of 1920s architecture, I would love to take a tour and see the view from the top.
♥️
Beautiful place, but there is nothing there, just the building!!!
Beautiful spot in a nice neighborhood.
Beautiful historic place in the city Coral Gables. First water tank
The most beautiful water tower. Coral Gables the Beautiful..😊 There should be at least one parking space to take pictures and leave. 😯
Caminar por Coral Gables es espectacular, es súper tranquilo, hermosas casas campo de golf de 9 hoyos, sitios históricos y buenos lugares para comprar y visitar
Drive by
Wish there was more to it as maybe a peek inside could enhance. The history of it is fascinating and the neighborhood surrounding is tour worthy.
Not much to see here. You cant park to look at it. I dont understand what all of the hype is about this tower.
A historic site that once served as the local source of drinking water in the 1930s, the Alhambra Water tower is worth seeing. Restored in 2010 through the efforts of a local citizens group, the tower is prettiest at night, when the pale blue light at the too illuminates the neighborhood.
One if the hidden gems in Miami
Pretty place for pictures.
Amazing historical building.
There is no phone number or website for this monument because there are no people her but it still is a very cool building to bring a dog or a child to to gawk at the beauty of this building
Nice water tower. Great location but no building access.
Beautiful accent to Coral.Gables...
An inland Lighthouse disguising the water tower.
Nice
An interesting historical monument of civil engineering. A water tower, once functional, but designed to look elegant, like a lighthouse due to the need posed by the surrounding residential community. The last one of its kind in Coral Gables. It is a visual visit, to see around the building. There are no opportunities to enter the recently renovated building.
Very pretty tower at night, cant go in, but it looks good in pictures.
