Honestly this place is such a vibe and they serve the best pizza in Perth! We ordered the cheeseburger pizza and it was to die for!The value was also super cool with great music and the staff were super helpful and sweet! Defs recommend coming here for a nice out in Perth

Absolutely rude staff, One person in our group didn’t want to have alcoholic drink, We asked for a soft drink. OMG I have never see such a rude reaction.

The staff were too cool for school. I prefer my service friendly and helpful rather than indifferent and aloof. You kids aren’t impressing anyone so stop trying so hard to be cool.Pizza wasn’t bad. Setting would be genuine if it weren’t for the staff.

Bar staff were great, the drinks were OK, but the place was packed and it was a million degrees. Ive heard about it having a good vibe and great pizza, but I wasnt really feeling the vibe, and didnt get to try the pizza on this stop, so I will definitely come again and give it another go!

Cozy, atmospheric bar with an extensive drinks menu and excellent, fresh pizzas!Their selections of beer are great, and the barstaff seem experienced and make real tasty cocktails.The standout here is definitely the pizza, their by the slice deal is good value, and if youre going for a full pie theres some delicious options to choose from, I reccomend the Rocky!100% worth checking out, I personally think this venue is best on weekdays when its quieter and you can enjoy the decor and space a little more.

Ive been to Alfreds a few times over many years and its always been consistently good. Great pizzas - the Fonz is a personal favourite. And really good gluten free pizza bases. Good range of beer, cocktails and spirits. Service has always been good too.

Wow, reading other reviews makes me feel a lot less alone in my experience. I remember when Alfreds was the coolest place, the staff were funny, laidback and energising. I used to go all the time. Now, its soulless.Female staff member was cold, highly strung and unwelcoming. Drinks ok, pizza ok. What I missed more than anything was the atmosphere, the spirit of the bar. It really seems to have lost its way. No more rocknroll and cool service; I felt like I was talked down to. I felt sad that my old haunt has become this.

Pizza was good but on the pricey side. My cocktail tasted different to the description. Small and cozy place.

Not what it use to be.Pizza was a bit burnt but still good. The drinks are still good.What seemed to be missing here now is the hospitality. As a previous regular here, it seemed a bit soulless now. Staff didnt really want to banter. Maybe I went on a quiet night but I miss the Alfreds of old.

probably one of the best bars on barrack street, had a terrible experience from a bar down the road and was such a contrasting experience at Alfreds. Staff and pizzas were wonderful, huge selection of beer.Massive bonus to their opening hours as a fifo often arriving in late evening.

Great drinks and food, excellent selection of beers and whiskeys and bar staff make good cocktails. Gets loud quick, but thats kinda the point.

This is kinda sad I have been wanting to try this place for so long becuase I heard of how good this place is.Not only did I get met with attitude as the top door was opened so I went in thinking it was opened I apologised for the obvious inconvenience I had caused and was told 3pm.I came back at 303pm opened the top door again went down the stairs she came out and gave me attitude saying there you go we are open now! Again i apologised saying its my first time here there is no sign saying open or close anyways clearly I upset her because as per my photo can someone explain to me where the middle of My pizza is there is not even cheese like $25 for a pizza surely this isnt how you would normally serve the pizza is it? I know I wouldnt!!

Two bad experiences here, and few years apart. Bartenders ripped of my partner with a $17 can of beer, didnt tell us the price and argued it was on the menu, and it wasnt....and did nothing to fix the situation. Absolutely bad service and not friendly. Wouldnt reccomend.

Amazing seasonal cocktails and perfect pizzas. Their garlic bread pizza is a perennial favourite and service is always so friendly.

Alfreds Pizzeria is a very small intimate bar hiding downstairs through the red telephone box on Barrack St Perth.Serving great pizzas, tasty drinks with good tunes. Great bar for late night hang! The best pizza I have had outside of Italy. Headed back to Perth in three weeks and I will be stopping in again for sure. Staff very happy to swap for vegetarians which is not always a pleasant experience but the bar staff were lovely!

At first I didnt really know what to think. The entrance was cramped and had the vibe of a battle of the bands type of feel with the posters all over the walls but then I got underground and the place had a unique retro yet rustic vibe. With decor of memorabilia on the shelves and embedded on the floor including a photo of Bill Murray from his role in "lost in translation" (which was my partners favouriteit has a charm unique to its own without having that try hard feel. The cocktail list while small, the bartender is happy to accommodate with whatever drink you desire! The whiskey list extensive so whiskey fans will not be disappointed. The pizzas are also amazing and for vegans out there they do a vegan pizza as well! A well rounded place for all kinds of people young and old.

A noisey cosy basement bar in Barrack St opposite the treasury building. They have a very extensive range of beer and cider served with pizzas made on site either by the slice or as a whole. The entrance is not well sign posted and easily missed.

I have been coming here multiple times since it opened and I love the place.It has almost all you can ask for. Excellent pizzas 🍕, cosy atmosphere, good tunes, good drink menu, craft beers, and GREAT HOURS. Love that theyre open late not like most Perth venues that close their kitchen at 8:30pm.Only small things that I would say are about the drinks : Even though theres a lot of choice for the beers, its only cans, and they are very pricey. Also I think a bit more choice on the wine menu would be a real plus. Cant fault their spirits menu, its massive, but only 5 choices of reds or whites is a bit limit for me.Other than that, the place is fire 🔥

Dropped in for a couple of drinks and a slice of pizza after a long hot day of walking around town. Very friendly bar tender, pizza chef sending out simple but tasty slices. Ambience is a little dark for an afternoon but as the evening goes on it becomes a bit more fitting. Interesting decor and a great range of drinks.

Always love heading into Alfred’s when I’m in town. Pizza is consistently amazing and cooked right in front of you. Drinks selection is legit good. Great staff as well.

Anyone can make a pizza, but not anyone can do it well! The pizzas we had were full of flavour and just the right amount. We were recommended Alfreds by a local and they were bang on the money. Best pizza this side of the country. #cookingwithrichie approves and recommends! The price was right, The beer was cold and decor unique. Well worth a visit!

This bar is a great hidden gem within the city; it is pretty laid-back and all, with the rock-and-roll music filling the environment like a match made in heaven. The decor is real nice, with its walls covered with news excerpts and filled with a few antiques, liquor bottles and other artifacts. The pizza is delicious, though a wee bit on the greasy side. Other than that, there is an extensive range of liqueur that would definitely accommodate all types of preferences. Overall, it is a nice place; would visit again.

I reckon its Perths best pizza. Downstairs, this place is cozy and has a really cool vibe. There are 100s of items on the wall so you see something new every visit. They also have a great beer selection and make a mean cocktail.
