Italian pasta not for tourist but made to taste REAL ITALIAN. Fresh made pasta . Pasta tasted top notch Italian . And I mean Italian pasta made for real Italian audience and not Italian pasta made for tourists ! The bread came out perfect and fresh in a brown paper bag for you. Very elegant touch , hygienic and also the manager , waiter and owner is super accommodating attitudes are nice, even on a Sunday ! the coffee is 100% Italian standard ...everything is perfect

Good food, service staff a bit lost - didn’t even know what they had on the menu!

Food was good and the service was friendly.But after we asked for the bill the restaurant manager tried to scam us the most expensive bottle of wine instead of a single glass of wine. When we mentioned it he tried to talk out of it like it was an accident while being incredibly rude.

Extremely poor service. We are waiting for 45 minutes in an empty restaurant for food!

Despite having eaten here on two previous occasions we had an awful xmas eve dinner. Firstly we were told that the specials on the board were no longer available. When we enquired why the next table were able to order them we were told - " they were friends of the boss". My wife then ordered a pasta dish with snapper. When it arrived the dish contained no fish. We complained and were told the manager would speak with us. After 25 minutes had elapsed we complained again the dish having been removed 20 minutes earlier. The manager passed our table a number of times and ignored us!!!. I eventually made a fuss and he apologised. Overall a case study in dreadful customer service!!

The food was average and the service was not super good. No bread to start with which was a bit uncommon for an Italia place.

I understand it is a Friday night, and I know our group do not speak the local language but our experience and meal were disgusting! Service was consistently rude. Food was tasteless and I could do better at home! We waited the entire meal for a side of vegetables to turn up, only getting to the table when we had all finished the meal. It consisted of 4 slices of pepper, courgette and aubergine. Disappointed, we decided to leave and so far we have been waiting for the bill for 20 mins.... we are still seated.Very disappointing!!!

Good food and waitress were very nice, but it was quite expensive.

So... Wait staff were great. They were hopelessly let down by their chef, who was keen to get outside have a smoke and sit on his phone. The food was indicative of this.

Very good Italian restaurant for old town. Warm setup with friendly staff and decent food. Price is right.

The staff was more than accommodating --to avoid a set of stairs for a disabled member of our group they carried a table through the restaurant and created new seating on the main floor; very impressive. The food was delightful, delicious and service very good. The tiniest quibble was the slightly less than frozen limoncello..but a very good experience including fresh pasta and a generous and tasty beet and goat cheese salad.

We had passed by this restaurant a couple of mornings on our way back to our hotel from breakfast and saw people hard at work before 10 every day. The restaurant is a few block back from the main square so it is relaxed & less hectic than places in the very touristy area. The menu looked great so we poked our head in to make reservations for that evening. We asked for a table outside and the manager said he would do his best. Sure enough, there was a nice outside table waiting for us.Our server was a very nice young woman who answered all of our questions and provided impeccable service.The wine list was outstanding and I easily found a Montepulciano that I was familiar with & liked.My SO got the mussels in a white wine & garlic sauce and I got gnocchi with tomatoes and zucchini. Both meals were of high quality, delicious and a nice portion size.For dessert, we shared a cannoli that was artfully cut and arranged. It was delicious and was complimented by a grappa & a limoncello.Our bill came to about $60, without tip, for 2 entrees, a couple glasses of wine, a couple of beers & a dessert. This was an excellent bargain for the quality of food and the impeccable service. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The entire staff was a joy & really made our night.

Al Dente trattoria is a semi-fancy restaurant with great fresh, homemade pasta. I ordered pasta with mushrooms and it was very good and so was the pasta with clams. Pork chop was cooked very well and came with excellent, lightly fried potatoes.

Nice Italian restaurant, very friendly and attentive waiters. Olive oil, Prosciutto and Mozzarella di buffala were fabulous. Pasta were ok, but too "Aldente" for our liking. Portions are also a bit small for what you pay.

Great restaurant away from the main thoroughfare of Prague. We had a good meal that was reasonable prices. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Great little place near the touristtraps, but here youll find great food and a food selection og wines. We were here for lunch in the middle og summer and service was excellent.

7 of us dined; staff great, wine great however food just wasnt. Mussels good but all-n-all, 5 wouldnt go back.

Felt like we were back in Italy! Friendly staff accommodated our group of eight for a spontaneous late dinner. Salads, entres were excellent. The wine list is ample enough to find a bottle sure to please. Prices are reasonable. We will definitely be back!!

We came here on recommendation and must admit we were alittle disappointed. The ambiance was good and the service attentive, perhaps not as relaxed as we may have liked. I like spicey food but the arribiata pasta made me reach for a glass of water, it was so hot! All in all a bit mixed. Prices were reasonable and limoncello after our meal was a nice touch.

The food came really late and not together, even though we made reservations so they could be prepared for our group (25p). I had the spicy prawn what was not spicy at all and on the other hand, other people had a way to spicy pasta or really salty. They also didnt tell us before hand that they didnt have somethings that were on the menu, so when ordering you had to make a quick new decision. They also didnt ask if we wanted dessert after. Overall very disappointing.

The service here is fantastic! The food was also really good! Even the veg options! Loved it here.

Very good medium price pasta. Absolutely delicious. Excellent wine. We had the cheapest Bolgheri on the list and it was excellent. Strongly recommend.

I ordered a "Squid ink risotto with octopus and shrimps", as written in the menu. I actually got a squid ink risotto with 4 or 5 small pieces of squid, one single small piece of octopus and one shrimp. Yes, I did count it because I could not believe it. Then, when I was asked about how I liked my risotto, I said the truth. The waitress called the manager, to whom I explained why I didnt like it. He got nervous and simply turned his back on me. Why to ask my opinion, if you cant take criticism, Mr Manager? And I only rate this restaurant 2 stars because my wifes dish was good. But Im never returning to be scammed again!

Small portions and just ok food for not so cheap price. I paid 285 CZK for spaghetti carbonara with just spaghetti and cheese... minus the pancetta. And service took a while too!

Authentic Italian restaurant very good reservations required cozy quiet atmosphere

Food did not meet expectations in quality and preparation and three out of four plates came in cold. No spontaneous offer to compensate, like a limoncello to go. Would not recommend, but still give two stars since staff were friendly.

Worst experience ever! The waiter was rude and the food tasted nothing. And the plates were very small. Do not recommend this restaurant!

Interior is quaint and charming. Waiters spoke ok to good English. Had split pea soup with chopped cooked bacon which tasted good, better than smelled? Also spagetti carbonara which was excellent. Only complaint was water served in .2L bottles and charged to bill. It was an up scale restaurant with moderate pricing.

Very tasty, amazing service, very welcoming, gives a feeling of an authentic italian restaurant and very resonable prices.

The place specializes in pasta, but as a person born and raised in Italy I never trust anyone with pasta other than myself, so cant comment on that. We had mussels and a bruschetta which were very good. Service was very good. Quite pricy though.

Really polite and thoughtful service and delicious food. I got the goat cheese and peach risotto and I was completely unsure what to expect but it was STELLAR. Definitely recommend!

All dishes were mediocre at best. If you go there I recommend to order very basic dishes (Bolognese, Pomodorowhich were ok.

Had dinner with 3 friends last night. Aldente used to be decent. Now it was pretty bad. Service was not given. Waiter was hard to find. Bread finally came when dinner was served. The pasta was definitely not al dente. Will not go again!

Worse italian restaurant Ive ever been to. We had risotto, lasagna and gnocchi, which are traditional italian dishes, and all of them were tasteless.On top of that, the manager attitude was so aggressive towards us, " as we had to have arguments why the food is not good, cos they prepare it in a special way".Bottom line, avoid this place as all cost, terrible food and even worse customer service.

Good service, and delicious food. I asked for saltimbocca (not on the menu), and they made it.The tiramisu was great as well.

Out of the seven of us there wasnt one dish that wasnt astounding. A wonderful meal! The "stamped" dessert menu was quite unique too.

Over rated! We went here twice, lunch and dinner. Lunch was good both on service and food. Dinner was a different experience. The food was far from expected, service slow and irregular. The food served did not match up with description on the menu. Perhaps they had a bad day. We did!

Over-priced (for the quaility served), pretentious service and not at all welcoming for families with children. This is a place for tourists, we wont go there again, not worth the money spent.

I showed up without a reservation and the staff was very helpful in finding a table for me.Great ambiance, lots of large groups.The pea soup was delicious and abundant. The lasagna took a little longer than Im used to. Very tasty but not that big of a portion.For dessert I tried the torta di tartufo with gelato al tartufo... delicious, but small portion and almost same price as main dish.Great wine menu for all wallets.Price is very reasonable.The only reason Im giving 4 out of 5 is for the size of the portions.

The food was excellent. Some of the best Italian I have had from all over the world. The service was good. The prices would be considered inexpensive. For two glasses of wine, two pasta dishes and a soup the total bill was $25. However, the outside eating area is a smoking okay zone. We rushed through dinner to get away from the smoke because it was very bad. Warning this restaurant has great food but allows smoking. The food was worth suffering through the smoke though.

Best Italian food I had ever. Ive been all over Italy and to many fine Italian restaurants in the states but this one has beaten them all. Fantastic octopus appetizer followed by a great linguini and clams. Tons of flavor and they even make their own delicious pasta. Wine list is expansive but may definitely on the high priced side. Even though I didnt have any, I hear the tiramisu is killer. The staff was also very courteous and helpful. They spoke English very well. I would 100% go back.
