Albion Hanley in Stoke-on-Trent

The best pub I have ever come across in the UK.The pub has the best manager and staff who have the best customer service skills I have ever come across.Also they have a great selection of drinks to chose from and the place holds a style of what a traditional pub should look like.If you want to be able to relax and talk to the local punters then look no further and come and have a pint in the Albion pub in the town centre.

Have only been here 3 times; early doors. I like the Music. The drinks are good value and theres a friendly atmosphere. Im bringing my Friend with me, on Monday. ☺

It’s not just a pub to me anymore, it’s become a friendly environment, hell it’s a second home. the staff have become family. I don’t always go in the Albion to drink alcohol. I know if I go there now, and I’m not feeling right emotionally I know I can go there and the staff will always come up to me or I’ll go over to them and they’ll always lift my spirits and make me feel well emotionally. Think the world of everyone there. Hell love them all… As always amazing atmosphere, brilliant people. Never gonna change… Shout out to my main girl Kezza. Kyle.

Brilliant pub well nice

Its a good night out Cheap drinks and friendly atmosphere. This is my first time at the albiin for a night out. When searching for it on Google the Times of business are confusing Im not sure if Sunday - Thursday they close at 10 then Friday they are open till midnight. Its a great pub to start the night and a great pub if you decide to stay all night.

A nice place to go for a drink. The staff there were pleasant and the atmosphere likewise.They have a pool table there(which is always a bonus(in my opinion lol).

Great nights entertainment on Thursdays, staff are excellent and very helpful will deffo be back. Great value for money and food is excellent.

Friendly staff, friendly regulars, really, really cheap beer…….£2.60 a pint, lowest I’ve paid in lord knows how long (might’ve been cheaper…..I had quite a few at this price!!). Pool table and cues are in really good condition too…..both a bit of a rarity in Pubs with pool tables nowadays. If ever I’m back in Stoke, I’ll be back to the Albion!

Cheap and cheerful staff are always very friendly and welcoming but the smell of urine throughout the pub is very off putting

Went here for a quiet drink.... Turned out to be overpriced drinks.. Paid 9 pounds for a single parma violet gin n lemonade n a single rum n coke n was told no I cant have any shots becoz the woman had worked there 4 seconds n didnt know any deals asked for my money back n she just turned her back on me refused to give me anymore lemonade or coke to top my drinks off because "thats where the ice goes".....yeah but u got no ice right??.... Correct!.... N I still cant have more mixer and youre gonna charge me 9 pound for what I couldve made at home for maybe 40p..............fuminnnggggg doesnt begin to describe how upset I am..

Nice, warm and cosy place to relax. Kerry is very sociable. That said, all the staff are. I dont know all their names. Leo is good too. A new member there. Since reopening again on April 12th 2021, I have been in there twice on Thursday and Saturday. The staff are really working hard to keep everyone happy. Be sure to give them a small tip on leaving. Theyre all stars in such difficult circumstances.

Out temperature and details were taken on arrival and I loved how they kept everyone socially distant. Good service and a pleasant afternoon had by my family. I would recommend the Albion

The Albion pub is one of the best pubs Ive been in a while, the larger, Carling and carlsberg are a really nice smooth drink. Its as a D.J on a Friday night and the music can be played at what ever people want to listen to, the ladys behind the bar are so happy and friendly all the time. Theres a pool table and televisions in every room, the customers are all HAPPY and with the space outside with tables and chairs are a place where you can drink and also smoke. On those wet nights you can sit under the canopy where you wont get wet, Come along and see for yourself its a night or day which ever you prefer to have a good time with your family or friends. Its a short distance from Hanley bus station and taxis are based really near to the pub as well. Also the Albion is one of the cheapest aces to buy a drink from. IM not that much of a drinker but love going in to have a game of pool or even just to sit and chat with my family especially my mum and she evens says on days when were in the house lets go and have a cuppa at the Albion. Its clean and really welcoming by the staff there. Plenty of room inside and out for all, even if theres a group of you, Id go along and see for yourself its a must for many people who like friendly and welcoming staff. If I could give more than 5 stars then I would of given 20/20 its a pub you would go to again and again like me.
