Delicious meal!

There is only one item (Prime Ribto be considered on the menu due to its excellence, despite so many other excellent options! A treat for an anniversary, a birthday, or a family get together! Ace food - one of the best of three primo restaurants in Brandon!

Always amazing meals. I have not had Alberts prime rib in 25 years, and it did not disappoint. Always perfect. My children loved their meals too. Thank you for the memorable evening!

A fabulous place to enjoy a meal in addition to several outdoor entertainment venues. Loads of fun!!

great prim rib but my friends steak was under cooked other wise everything was good

Special was great. Chicken and ribs well, chicken abit disappointing. Pounded flat and dry, no flavor.

Prime rib was over cooked when I brought it to the waitress’ attention she brought out another that looked and cut more like an over cooked pork chop than a prime rib. They comp’d one of the prime ribs even though neither one was eaten. Owmer? Waitress said it was Albert… came out after seeing the prime rib we returned and asked what the problem was, instead of owning his errors. Disappointing to say the least. Be forewarned, they might say best prime rib in town, if this is the case then don’t bother ordering prime rib in Brandon.

Showed up early for supper and didnt know should have made a reservation because its such a tiny restaurant. Super crowded, super noisy, and our waitress couldnt have cared less about us. The table was in a spot where guys kept leaning over and sticking their butts in our faces. The meal was $30 and was so-so. I kept having to put my fingers in my ears because of the noise. Wouldnt go here again - great location, some parking, and the pie and ice cream was excellent.

Should remove "family" from the business name. Dont let the backyard carnival fool you, this restaurant is not family friendly. No high chair or booster seat (they had one broken high chair that they wouldnt let anyone use), no change tables, no kids menu. Food is mostly processed and prepackaged, so no flexibility. Couldnt even add or remove anything from a burger. Lunch was way too expensive for being made from frozen.

This is the second time we’ve been there for dinner I had the salmon my husband had the steak excellent food definitely recommend it The only issue is the hollandaise sauce it’s grainy and does not taste very good But the salmon amazing my husband said the steak was delicious Definitely go check it out

Zero stars. An older gentleman cut us in line for a table, he got a table then his wife joined him. When it was our turn they said they had no tables left despite being multiple there. Explained that we were waiting first and for awhile. They said we had to wait an hour. This was one of my favorite spots, now I wont go back. Dont know why they didnt want to serve us, we had done nothing wrong.

Aren’t we glad we went to Alberts.My wife had the Chicken Souvlaki, while I had the Amazing Prime Rib with Yorkshire Pudding, WOW again!Guarantee we will be back! Thx so very much for an awesome meal!

The prime rib is excellent. The service is fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wether you live near/in Brandon MB or just spending a night like we were today we highly recommend making a point of stopping her for something delicious to eat!

First time here and the menu is good and varied. Had the breaded veal cutlet with lemon potatoes and was blown away. Very flavorful, juicy, tender and moist. Worth the trip and glad we chose this place over a chain restaurant. Staff is amazing

When in Brandon, Alberts Bistro is our "go to" destination for lunch! There are many delicious items on the menu, but the Horiatiki Salad is our favourite. It is an authentic Greek salad ... no lettuce ... just loads of fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, red onions and olives. Tossed with a delicious olive oil/herb dressing and heaps of the best Feta cheese Ive ever tasted, its worth every minute of the two hour drive to get there. Trish, our favourite server, always welcomes us warmly, and brings our beverages almost before we sit down! All this ... and more! The staff have followed the current provincial recommendations to the letter, so that when you dine there, you know that you will be safe. All in all, a wonderful place to eat!

Went for a birthday party, the food was great. The staff was friendly and the menu was great value for the quality of food offered! I had the 12oz prime rib, it was very good.

Good service I had the ribs just really lackluster not very good. 2 stars because of the service ribs were expensive considering the quality.

Heard so many great reviews about this place I had to try it myself is fantastic the restroom is amazing the people here are amazing and the food is fantastic definitely have to try the prime rib

Came here for lunch with a good friend last week. Cute little restaurant with a really nice cozy atmosphere. I had the Greek Salad and everything was very crisp and tasty! My buddy had the Gyro and it was also nice and hot as well as tasty.If youre looking for a hidden gem to have lunch at, or even dinner, I highly suggest giving these guys a shot.

Alberts might have the best pizza I have found across Canada!! Like really really good!! Semi parking across the road and every other dish we have had has been spot on! My favorite is that Albert is actually in the kitchen cooking! I dont know Albert but I can say he knows his stuff!! Thanks Albert and team!! :Also Kevin (previous reviewremember its not up to the owners of the establishment to make up the rules but it is up to them to follow them if they dont want their business licence revoked!

Good flavors and great service. We came here specifically for greek food, and we were not disappointed. Our problem was that we thought we could share the Greek platter with some appetizers and we could have used a bit more food (platter was made for 1, not 2)

My parents were refused service for going into Alberts for a birthday dinner and all because of unconstitutional mandates. They loved the food there but wont be going back. I would recommend not eating there. I hope this place goes broke. If I could give it a 0 star I would.

Weve always enjoyed going to Alberts. Had roast beef and Souvlaki last time. Both were excellent. Beef portions are amazing!!

Simply amazing Prime Rib. It’s all I ever order but I stole a Greek rib off my buddy’s plate when he went to the washroom and it was delicious as well.

Really great Mom and Pop restaurant. So glad we found it. Honestly the best prime rib ever and loved the Greek sampler dish! Our waitress Glenda was sweet, friendly and attentive. 5 Star review all around!

Authentic Greek in Brandon Manitoba. This was possibly the oddest restaurant combination imaginable. It a climbing wall, batting cage, fabricobbled restaurant, but some of the best Greek food weve had. This place goes on one of our favorite finds!

O-M-G. I was waiting to try the prime rib for a while and it did not disappoint! No wonder it is the restaurants specialty and a must-try menu item in Brandon. Very generous portions of tender meat. The lemon roasted potatoes were surprisingly flavourful. The side Greek salad was well worth the extra cost and a nice compliment to the meal. My only minor suggestion would be to have a more potent horseradish, although my boyfriend would disagree! The Dolmades were herbaceous, and a sprinkle of lemon really made the flavours pop. We had enough leftovers for a proper lunch the next day. The service was friendly and accommodating with good COVID-19 safety precautions (masks required, plexiglass barrier, social distancing, hand sanitizer available).

Read the reviews, ordered the Princess cut Prime Rib, Done to Perfection, I travel alot all over the States have had Prime rib alot, I would have to Say this is the Best I have had anywhere, I will be return, and highly recommend this establishment, Cheers to Albert and his Staff 👍

Excellent food, excellent service and just the best spot for a date, which is where my date took me. We even had a round of mini golf there which was insanely fun! You absolutely have to go to this restaurant if you are in Brandon.

My son and I stopped in here for the Steak special. We ate on the patio as we had our dog with us that hadnt eaten much over the last few days as we were traveling. Jen our server was exceptional! She provided a little bit of meat to the dog food and had our little Pal eating in no time. The steak special along with appetizers we ordered were excellent. Highly recommend this location for excellent staff and food! Thank you again Jen!!!

We just finished our take out. Holy , so so so delicious!!! We had the princess cut prime rib and the lemon dill salmon with lemon potatoes. Their famous dinner buns also came with the meal. I miss the quaint ambience and experience of the restaurant but the food was just as delicious!! I highly recommend!

The place is a neat little spot tucked away on the Northhill. You certainly get a family vibe within the atmosphere. The waiters appear to lack some social skills but good enough for a patio experience. The food was alright for me. I cant say it was terrific, but it was not bad. I would recommend for maybe a one time experience to assess and see if you like it.

First time dining at Alberts, but Im sure well be coming back. We tried the Greek style Pork chops and they were really good. Nicely seasoned and tender. The lemon roasted potatoes were tasty. I think my only complaint would have been about the soup. Our waitress thought it was vegetable beef, but it was a bean soup. It was good....just not what I was expecting. Next time Ill go with the salad instead. Overall a great experience

Delicious! Went mini golfing too+ and they have a climbing wall. Great quality delicious greek food as well as a good quality steak, pizza, pasta, family restaurant. Good first date or family spot. Coming back again!

I have been here a couple times while in Brandon. I dint think its overpriced, as some others have said. Its not cheap, but its not fast food. I was pleased with the portion both times.I had the lamb (half rackand my coworker had steak. We had no complaints. It was really good.The wait was not long for the type of food.The place looks really small from outside, but there is lots of seating.I will go again when I am back.

Three of us at this visit. We had 2 prime rib and 1 steak dinner. They were all decent portions and cooked to our exact specifications. Great atmosphere and a spectacular waitress. Its a small but very cozy dining room, with attractive decor. A very comfortable place to visit. Not too formal.

I have tried to stop here a half a dozen times, but always ended up getting there close to closing time and turned away several times.Place is small and cramped with limited seating and somewhat drafty it being December even though it was a mild day.The menu was limited to only 2 pages and most of the items over priced.I ordered the ceasar salad and it not up to par. Most of the salad was from the core and was yellow lettuce and not nice leafy green romaine you would normally expect. Overly seasoned with garlic salt and parmesan and doused with a lot of croutons. The price of this sad bowl of lettuce was 12 dollars alone.The redeeming thing was the cheese cake which was rich and smooth, topped with canned frozen strawberry concoction.It might be considered by some as a cozy little spot by the locals. However I dont have any plans on ever returning to this place.There are just too many other places that have better venues, food and lower prices.The fact was this was next to the truck stop and within walking distance was my main reason as it was convenient.

The prime rib is unbelievably delicious. 1 princess with medium rare and the 20 oz was well done just perfect both of them. The combination Greek meal was also perfect. Great restaurant small and comfortable atmosphere.

Okay, here we go...... The burger was horrible, saturated in grease and didnt even taste like beef. Just ate here less then 3 hours ago and Im sick from the food, Pretty sad when Id rather eat Mcdonalds. My friend had the "steak sandwich" more like a tiny piece of steak and garlic bread on the side.... charging full price and adding extra for mushrooms freaking mushrooms... never will I ever go back! Horrible food and way over priced!!!!
