Food is not really yummy as other Yemeni restaurants does

I ordered mendi meat which was 77 tl and i liked it. But the thing is the restaurant was not as we expected, in the begging they brought us a menu which turkish foods in it. Then after we asked them about yemeni food they brought us a different menu and i can say out of 10-15 different yemeni foods, they could only provide 2 types.Also you cannot pay with card they only accept cash

Money cant buy the quality of food i had there....bring me back days of my saudi childhood...will be coming back from london to turkey and will not going to miss a visit at this plc...

This is a very underrated and unexpected gem.After about a few days of kebabs and turkish food we decided to try something different since this place was just a short hop from our hotel.They have truly delicious food. Try their minced meat and potatoes, their “beans” (ful mudammas), their khabsa. And their bread is just great. fresh from the oven crisp and hot. wow.top it off with their rendition of arabic coffee.

The food was alright. Generous Portions. Not the best chicken though. Too dry.

The mandy taste is great with the hot sauce.

Loved the yemeni food here! Everything was done well and very tasty. Wish we could have found it earlier to go back again.We had baba ganoush, salta (a Yemeni national dish), fish and lamb with rice. Cost 182TL.

Tasty and affordable. We actually shared chicken mandi between 2 adults, with 2 dips and 2 Yemeni breads... soooo full!! It was yum and service was great! Best pomegranate juice too! Just the tea was ... well let’s just say not to our taste.

Been there twice. A little bit cheaper than the neighbourhood. Good, intetesting food. Great place to have dinner after sightseeing.

I loved the mandi with the lamb, but the meat had so much fat. The tabboule was average. Overall good experience and worth to try.

The portion you get for the price is worth it. Im giving it 4 stars because the mandy chicken i ordered wasnt bad! But a bit dry, so i needed quite abit of chilly sauce

This place is absolutely amazing! We went there for dinner on our trip to Istanbul and loved it so much that we returned the next day for lunch.The food is tasty and interesting, the prices are very good and the staff is very attentive and respectful.Im sure you wont miss the bread here but make sure to ask for it, its delicious!Totally recommend it!

*For a Yemeni who has been missing his country food for a long time it was a shock. The food i ordered -Mandi- has nothing to do with what i know, nothing!! I found hair in my plate twice, Moreover The meat was cooked few days ago oil was all over the rice and the sous is a disaster!! Omg at least they should have got the sous right for gods sake !!!*The whole crew are Syrians, despite the poor decorations that was meant to represent the Yemeni culture there is no atmosphere what so ever indicating that you are in a restaurant named THE YEMENI HOUSE.*Finally the prices compared whith the quality and quantity of what they serve are insane and ridiculous!

We went in here accidentally, not knowing this was Yamenese food. So glad we did because it is just delicious food. We are already here two days in a row and I think we will be back! We had chicken with rice, broth with meat and bread crumbs, lamb liver, Okara curry, all really delicious! I highly recommend. Staff are very nice as well!
