Recommend stepping into this visitors centre. Greeted by friendly staff with a huge list of things to do in the region, from small to large and walks to food recommendations. Was a great choice! Nice feel to it as well
Excellent service from Trish at the Centre when we first called in for information last December. She spent lots of time giving us everything we needed and good advice. Spent nearly 3 months here exploring all the sights in and around Albany as well as further afield returning to our base in Albany. Have enjoyed every minute of it with so much to see and do. Also saw 3 shows at the fabulous Entertainment Centre, New Years Eve fireworks, weekly Farmers Markets, enjoyed 3 choices for Ballroom Dancing - our passion, the Australia Day celebrations and also had plenty of work done on our Motorhome with the excellent services available here. The free camps at Cosy Corner and East Bay were fantastic and the free showers in town at the Rest Centre is such a great service. Above all we felt welcomed by the many warm and friendly people in Albany and the welcoming RV friendly policies. In return we have supported your community spending thousands of dollars during our time here. Loved the best beaches in Australia too! Thank You Albany.
Well set out visitors centre, very spacious, easy to walk around. Not too many varying tourist trinkets however very well priced. Staff are friendly & very helpful. Large free maps of Albany to help you get the most of your visit.
Nothing to rave about, good selection of brochures and small display of local items, staff friendly
If you want the in,s & outs of Albany, dont miss out on dropping into this information centre for all of what Albany has to offer. The ladies there are So So friendly & Courteous. You can also purchase a National park passes.. 4,7, month or year, we purchased a year pass, to visit all the parks in the area and the rest of WAThank you so much to the lovely lady that served us.. Cant remember her name, but she brought a puppy from Hervey Bay Qld, and came down from Broome.
Very pleasant and receptive, but a bit hard to find, even for a local.
Thank you for having a Tesla charger here, wouldnβt have come to Albany without you π
Very helpful staff. Have many suggestions of places to see and do. Great understanding of the local area.
They helped us do our passed for South Australia, I got mine with in two days then we were waiting for my husbands, we still hadnt got it by the time getting to NORSEMAN, so we went to the information centre in Norseman, reaplyed for my husbands pass again & got it with in minutes of submitting it.
They were so helpful in recommending places to visit in Albany. They gave us a map and even marked the spots for us.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. It was great to find a center wanted to share information instead of selling merchandise . Highly recommended a visit to this centre.
Great information given for our travels, she was very helpful
The young woman who talked with us was lovely & very helpful. She had plenty of great suggestions of places to visit.
Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff a must go to for first visit to Albany
Beautiful helpful friendly staff, excellent range of brochures & local information π
Booked my Bremer Bay Orca tour through here last week. Staff very helpful in getting me sorted but however neither of the two companies that do the tour had my booking despite my confirmation email and booking number. Fortunately Naturaliste Charters were able to accommodate me on their boat which was an awesome experience. Hopefully they received the money that was paid!!
Very friendly. They did recommend the tumblers gym which drove too, and it is permanently closed.
Amazing service. Im very impressed and grateful. Its a refreshing change to be assisted by such a kind and empathetic professional. All too often its difficult to even get eye contact from people in public service roles. But certainly not my experience today. The gorgeous lady who helped me was amazing. Kind, concerned and willing to do what she could to help. And wow! Did she help.A warm bed is so much better than a tarp under a bush on a wet, cold night stranded unexpectedly in Albany.Im so grateful for the last minutes flurry to find a solution 20 minutes before home time on a Friday. Ill sleep smiling tonight.I now consider Albany not only beautiful for its scenery but equally beautiful because of the wonderful people here.
Fantastic service and a lovely selection of Australian retail items. Itβs well worth the visit, they have the most gorgeous selection of Aussie native animal mugs!
We stayed at Albany for a night but to explore Albany more, we thought to stay for another night. But surprisingly on booking.com, all hotels/motels were fully booked. So we thought to visit Albanyβs information centre where the staff helped us find 2 rooms for 5 adults at a motel. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.
One of the most friendliest staff ever! Great service and very knowledgeable with good souvenirs and brochures!
Excellent place to get information with helpful staff. The only thing they need is more information about Esperance?
The VR is super cool. A no d even though the prices on souvenirs border on outrageous..the staff have local knowledge and point you in the right place. A must stop if visiting
Good friendly staffs and customers services. Good local knowledge and advice for all attraction places. There has two 3D screen in the centre for everyone to experience dolphin in the water, our family has a good time.
Helpful staff accomplished the impossible and got us accommodation for two nights. Our holiday plans have coencided with bushfires and most of the available accommodation has been taken by the firefighters who are getting a well deserved break before returning to the front. Our thoughts are with the firefighters who are doing a wonderful job fighting the current bushfires. Maybe the Australian prime Minister (Smokowill find a way to compensate those volunteers giving of their time and lives during these emergencies.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of maps, booklets etc. Even found out film times for local cinema! Didnt book anything directly with them but came away with lots of ideas and a map marked with places of interest to pour over. Added bonus, its attached to library, which kept kids busy and we even came away with a dvd from their sale basket.
Poor show. To bag out a country town is nasty. You are supposed to be promoting and looking for the "Amazing" elements in our amazing south coast. I went in and was told not to even bother about one town, and they had absolutely no idea what was there.
We arrived late Sunday Afternoon, and the girls there were Amazing. She booked us in at The Dolphin Appartments, showed us on a map all the Touristy things to do. Nothing was to much trouble. Fantastic job. Thank You.
Cathy was wonderful. So helpful and knowledgeable. We went nearly everywhere she recommended and was on point. Would of missed some spectacular places without her insight.Thank you.
This is where we booked our whale watching trip. And all other tours can be arranged here instead of a travel agent at cost. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well.
Always love going to Albany and always drop into the Visitors Centre when in town to check on what is happening and if there are any new attractions we have missed over the years. It has a great range of souvenirs and gifts as well .public facilities are available. Great staff always accommodating. Alwaysβββββ
Really fun VR experience will take you around Albany before you go yourself. Great way to determine if you want to go see a place or not, as well as really fun for all ages. The staff was friendly and helpful - they know the drill and will show you the places you forget to ask about. The visitor center is also attached to the library, so you can check that out while youre there.
Had some extremely helpful members in the visitors center who were able to give us loaded of info. They will also help you book tours etc. The visitors center is very modern as well will VR goggles and touch screens to view different activities.
Great visitors centre with innovative integration of tech like the VR headsets and touchscreens to easily see & book what Albany has to offer. All the staff there are wonderfully friendly and experts of the area. A must see when visiting Albany.Wheelchair accessible and toilets on site (at the library).
Very friendly and helpful staff. They have a lot of brochures and activities around to recommend you. The bus station is located just in front of it and there is also a Telstra air spot
Thankyou to all the staff at visitor centre. On each of our six visits we have requested accomodation to suit our requirements. Each time they have listened & booked us the perfect stay to suit. Staff are friendly & helpful. Always recommend to family & friends to book through vistor centre.
