Its one of the best B&B place we’ve ever stayed. It was super clean, instructions to check-in were very clear, excellent breakfast choices and everything was very smooth. We have enjoyed our time at this place and will come back again next time.

We loved this place. The only regret was that we stayed only one night. It would be fun to be there longer

Lovely place to stay. Log cabin feel but done beautifully. Clean and comfortable with everything you need. Stocked kitchen for breakfast, easy access to hiking and excursions AND in a lovely secluded area. Highly recommend.

The directions to Knotty Pine were exact with Waze and the check-in/out process was seamless. We had a 3 a.m. arrival and were fast asleep within minutes of setting down our bags. The building and bedroom were fantastic with most of the amenities provided. Even though we booked the last available room and knew upfront, most wouldnt prefer a common bathroom. However, everything was exceptionally clean and toiletries were provided. We awoke to a self serve breakfast, however could not enjoy it to the full effect without a table to eat from. The main quarters had new leather furniture and a beautiful log chest, which could easily be destroyed without a table for an addition. Overall, we had an enjoyable and pleasant stay and would recommend this locationto anyone. Thanks for the positive experience!

Very nice, clean, and the house had everything you needed. It was fabulous. First time ever staying over in a B&B so I didnt know what to expect. Much better than any hotel by far!

We stayed at this great cabin with a big group, max 15 people one night with a wide age range 6 to 80. Plenty of room to spread out on rainy days and for sleeping. Beds are comfortable and sturdy; slightly higher than typical leaving room underneath for gear though mobility-impaired folks might need a low stepstool. Open loft with 1 queen, 2 twins, and a couch that turns into a full/queen size mattress. Downstairs has a big sleeping area with 3 queens and a twin, and two private queen bedrooms with doors that are nice and quiet. Was impressed with everything the owners supplied: essentials like plenty of linens and towels and washer/dryer, and nice touches like extra toothbrushes and hair dryers. The kitchen worked very well for multiple cooks with a sizeable island, big sink, huge pantry space. High quality pots and pans, plenty of utensils, dishware, and silverware for a big crowd. Two sets of sharp knives. Hot tub wasn’t working when we first arrived but the owner came out to address (at 8pm!and was fabulous on a chilly rainy evening. The pump/heater is a little loud for the downstairs bedrooms as it comes up to temperature, so start it up in the morning for an evening soak. We had car trouble the day we checked out and the owner came to the rescue with a rapid charger for a dead battery. Really a great experience, highly recommend both the place and the family operators! Horseback riding at Sunderland Ranch and AK Zipline Adventure Park were 8 minutes up the road.

Beautiful lodge in a beautiful setting. It had everything we needed for a staff retreat.

I had a really hard time finding a venue for our wedding. . This lodge was booked Every weekend for the summer. Moses went out of his way to help me! He called his guests to confirm and then called me with the date of June 11. Even though that wasn’t my original date, the lodge was more important. It was such a beautiful place and an amazing weekend. His communication was superb and he was very accommodating Thank you so much Moses.If you Have wedding plans, I would highly recommend Alaska Knotty Pine B&B!

This place was absolutely beautiful if u r looking for a real Alaskan experience this is the best it gets. I was so surprised on how beautiful it was & how cheap it was compared to the experience it was well worth it ill be back for sure

Self check-in was nice allowing us to arrive at a convenient time for us! Everything was clean and welcoming. Unfortunately we had to leave very early the next morning and didnt get a chance to make/enjoy the breakfast provided: bacon and eggs. Next time we will stay a few days longer. 🙂

Stayed 1 night, June 2022. Wow, we had no idea how luxurious this stop would be. The quality of the construction is amazing. Rooms had luxurious details, see photo of bath in one of the rooms! Large beautiful living room with lots of couches. Owner is super responsive and friendly without being intrusive. Beautiful grounds. Front and back porches. Great quiet location yet so close to Reindeer Farm, Musk Ox Farm and restaurants in Palmer. We were sad to only spend one night here. It would be great for gathering of larger groups.

We loved our stay at this extraordinary place! It was the perfect stop for us on our first night in Alaska! The breakfast choices were amazing, the property was beautiful and well maintained. My only regret is that I don’t know if the other places we are staying will live up to this!

Very nice house overall and property grounds. Very clean and cozy atmosphere with interesting interior. The suite is comfortable, with big beds, clean crisp linens. Huge kitchen with all amenities, pots and pans, utensils and all you can ever need. Interior of the cabin is nice as well. We were provided breakfast.., included different kind of cheese, cream cheese, crackers, butter, yogurt, ice cream, coffee, tea, pancake mix, and more...Panoramic views of the surrounding forest and tranquility of nature around you. Sauna or jacuzzi? Pick one or both. Awesome stay here, recommend to anyone. Thank you again for the stay and for going out of your way to help our sons make it a very special Fathers day.

Beautiful property and beautiful indoor architecture. Loved the Knotty Pine. Our room, The Cowboy Corral, when first walking in the door, was nicely decorated and quaint, however it became apparent the comforters hadn’t been washed in awhile, you could smell the old stale body sweat. The sheets and other linens were clean looking and smelled clean. The room was extremely warm, temp control was set to low 70’s; it should have been 68 or 69 degrees instead. Unfortunately we were not able to lower the temp. There were dust bunnies under the bed and the bathroom exhaust fan was so full of moist dust, I’m not sure how it could work efficiently. We did not partake in the breakfast, too many other guests cooking their morning meal and we were on a timeline. While this B&B definitely had some cons, it was still better than a hotel room, at least that’s what my husband says. For me, I don’t think I’ll stay here again…I got very little sleep due to how warm it was in the room and was woken up in the early morning hours from guests walking up and down stairs above us. I believe every board creaked.

Our parents are going to stay over the fathers day weekend. Coming form NYC. We called to enquire about some sort of a gift for DAD. Moses listened carefully to understand what we were looking for. He ended up driving 1hr each way(of his own volitionto Anchorage, to a good store and bought What we put in our shopping cart. Even offered some special Alaskan delicacy out of a local freezer for NO CHARGE. He is very easy to communicate with and he is very courteous, professional and willing to go further for his guests. So far, the customer service is very impressive. Cant wait for parents to stay at his place.

The services, hospitality, and effort of the staff is immaculate. They go out of their way to accommodate for your needs so you have that much more of a pleasant stay. BIG SHOUTOUT to Mr. Moses! Thank you for making our father’s day a special one. YOU are the real MVP!

We were looking for an alternative to a hotel that was reasonably priced. This cabin was perfect. Very comfortable, clean common area with a lodge feel. The kitchen was fully equipped and well stocked to comfortably make a real breakfast. Lots of outdoor space with a fire pit, complimentary wood, and a hot tub. The room and bathroom was clean and nice. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone that wants a great spot to use as a home base to explore all the great things within an hour or two drive from Palmer.

This Bed and Breakfast is secluded and couldn’t be a more beautiful setting, nested in the trees by Lazy Mountain. All the facilities are very clean and well maintained with lovely common areas and private rooms. The owners are very responsive and have clearly paid attention to many details to make your stay as enjoyable as can be. The Alaskan decor is very beautiful! This place was perfect for our family of seven. It was exactly what we needed after a five day ferry ride, we were able to wash all our clothes and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. The owner was very pleasant, he was organized and the place was very clean.

Comfortable, clean, and very relaxing! We stayed one night while transitioning from the Kenai penisula to the Denali area. We should have stayed longer! This was a wonderful place to land after a week of traveling, plenty of beds in the Fishermans suite for the four of us to spread out. It was fantastic to have a fully stocked kitchen (and grillto use to cook our fresh-caught salmon. Having the opportunity to do laundry was also very nice! The other folks who were staying were very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them. Good beds, a luxurious bathroom, and a lot of deck space to enjoy the outdoors added to the experience. In all, this is definitely a place wed stay again and recommend to others!

What a great place! I found this B&B last minute when we flew into Anchorage late at night and didnt have a place to stay. The lodge was beautiful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The owners made sure everything went smoothly and the large kitchen provided all your delicious breakfast needs made based on your own schedule. 100% reccomend!

Loved our stay!!! Very Clean and beautiful!! It was nice to get up and have access to breakfast items and make what ya want after eating out for 2 weeks, it was a very change. Met other travelers who were nice too. I will be back. Wished we stayed more nights, for sure next trip.

Place is cleaner than most hotels Ive stayed at. Public areas are well appointed to stretch out an enjoy any beverages you may have brought. Clean room, clean shower. Many, many breakfast options you can prepare. Great surprise add to our trip on our way back north to Fairbanks.

Very clean and cozy. Space to walk or sit on the porch outside, big clean kitchen shared with other guests, comfy living area. Mostly very quiet. Near Lazy Mtn trail head if you are up for that hike. Wed stay there again and will suggest for relatives coming to town.

Our group of five decided day of that we didn’t want to camp another night, we made a few phone calls and rerouted our day to drive Hatcher Pass and head to Palmer to stay at Knotty Pines. We were immediately so impressed by the thoughtful details and gracious hospitality. The space was so perfect and comfortable. If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate to stay here! 10/10

The place was nice and clean since we had the big room downstairs we had our own privet bathroom in the room with the jacuzzi and a sauna. Not that we used it but it was there. The host were great the refilled the fridge every morning so there was a decent amount of breakfast for all the occupants in the house. We met a few of the other people they were very nice as well.

Beautiful views! Extremely peaceful. All the amenities you could want. A fully stocked kitchen was a great blessing as were the brochures about Palmer. Comfortable bed and wonderful fresh, country air coming in through the screens. A joy to sit out on the porch and view the majestic mountains from the mountain view suite. The owners are extremely helpful and care about those who stay in their home. Highly recommended!

PERFECT PLACE, we fell in love with this place and the view is stunning- mountains and the property is surrounded by complete privacy! Super close to town and all the activities in it, Our family stayed in the Mountain Suite, which can fit up to 5 people - and the view is spectacular from its very large private balcony. The house is decorated beautifully with high quality furnishings and is very cosy. So impressed with all of the small and fine details to make a guest stay so special. The breakfast was fantastic and wholesome - the perfect start to our day, Highly recommend this peaceful and luxurious mountain stay, Thank you! ~ Gordon’s

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful B&B. We were quickly accommodated and check in was a breeze! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and inside the great room. Our room was comfy. The kitchen is stocked up with all one could need! We made a nice breakfast of coffee, eggs, bagels, fruit and sausage. Absolutely reccomend!

Its day 1 of 2 at Alaska Knotty Pine. Here from Florida with my son for fishing and sightseeing. I feel like this is my home already; excellent accommodation; everything smartly considered. Beautiful, clean, and well-appointed home. Located in a quiet, private location. Very comfortable. My small, upstairs room in the Bears Den was cozy. I enjoyed the view of the surrounding mountains from the kitchen in the morning.

i had a wonderful time during my stay! it far exceeded my expectations. the room was inviting, clean with aintoxicating aroma of Cedar. authentically alaskan wooden luxury cabin theme, rustic and, clean a definite if you would like to enjoy the beautiful alaska wilderness close to the city. the fisherman’s suite has a private sauna and jacuzzi giving us just what we needed to relax, melt stress away and enjoy our visit. My partner and i are introverts, so not being pressured to join a group or make small talk allowed us to feel comfortable to enjoy a romantic, peaceful evening. best part, if we needed something or had a question the host was available to us with a quick text. I would give this place a 10 out of 10 stars if i could. we will definitely be returning in the very near future. love it! definitely recommend a stay!

Wow! When I walked into Knotty Pine I Instantly felt at home. Truly THE Alaskan feel from the rustic decor to the log banister. I felt I was in the country but so close to town as well. I was able to order from the local Pizza place for free delivery right to my door. They had breakfast ready for me to cook, a great coffee selection and I slept better than I have in a long time. My host was super easy to get ahold of and he answered my questions anytime I had one. I will stay here everyone I need lodging. Simply perfect

Best place to stay in Palmer! Beautiful, large log cabin home run by an excellent host/owner. Very clean, quiet, and private rooms. This place provides everything you could possibly need for a great price. 10/5 stars! Wish we could stay longer!

WOW! The most beautifully crafted home in a quiet and serene location. The Fisherman’s suite offers a DisneyLand relaxation experience—sauna, jacuzzi tub with rain shower, and a separate shower with options! We really enjoyed the creative self-serve breakfast option. There were numerous options available and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. It was nice to choose your menu and time to eat. Every luxury and convenience is available in and outside of this home. The hosts are as amazing as the house—immediately responsive and kind! Looking forward to a return visit.

Wonderful stay. We have stayed at a lot of bed and breakfasts, and this is by far the nicest. It is a really good deal for the price. It is very clean. The manager and staff are all very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of fun things to do. We really loved that clean and spacious cabin rooms. Thank you so much. What a gorgeous cabin and property!! This B&B is really a huge, three-story, luxury cabin in the woods that I would pretty much call my dream home. I was really surprised when I saw the home for myself, as the pictures online do not do it justice! Its actually two buildings, one main cabin with a huge, fully equipped kitchen; a grand, main living room; and a huge porch with views of the woods and tops of the mountains. The 2nd building is a huge rec center with more rooms for guests. It was such an impressive cabin! To top it off, we were upgraded at no extra charge for a fishermans suite, which was an adorably furnished room that had an enormous bathroom with a jet tub and a SAUNA! We did not use the sauna but did use the jet tub and it was such a nice addition to our stay! Lastly, Moses was such a gracious host who we were able to communicate with regarding our unique check out plans and he was very accommodating. He was quick to respond and really kind to our situation. Very nice guy! Thanks so much for a lovely stay! *Almost forget the awesome kitchen was equipped with self-serve keurig coffee machine and plenty of coffee and milk in the fridge! Just perfect!

Alaska Knotty Pine B&B was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful setting and the room was great. Loved the self serve breakfast and it was fun to meet people from all over. My daughter and I had an amazing time visiting the area while she judged a poultry show during the fair. We will be staying there again when we come back.

We had my son’s rehearsal dinner and wedding at the Knotty Pine. The facility was amazing for both events. Plenty of room for all of our out of state guests to stay. Amazing location and views. Made for a beautiful wedding!! The hosts were fantastic and helped with all our needs!

This was the most amazing Alaska state I have ever stayed in the world! :-I honestly travel all over the world and have stayed a lot of places in Alaska and have never found a place so good. The manager was so helpful and kind. Everything was clean tidy and in excellent condition. I have stayed here more than once now and would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a good place to stay. It’s a very good price for Alaska. The beauty of the lodge itself as well as the surroundings outside is incredible! :- my husband along with our three kids stay here and will never forget our most amazing stay.
