A wonderful park! Great for the whole family. The trees and flowers, rivers and mountains, just wonderful. A great place to relax and have a nice picnic. The area is protected by the goverment to keep everything as natural as possible. The temps are a nice 19C here so very nice to relax here. We will definetly be coming here again very soon!!

I had a great experience, even though I went there once with a friend. I wont call it a park, Id certainly call it a Forest Reserve.

Beautiful park close to Bishkek. Its absolutely gorgeous and Racek hut is a perfect location. The dorms are comfortable or you can camp. Fresh water from a waterfall nearby. Easy spot to use as a base to climb in the area or practice skills right by the hut. Korona hut is more basic but what a fantastic location and quite the interesting ascent along the Alligators tears to get there. Id love to return one day

Breathtaking views of some of the most beautiful mountain peaks in the world! If you are fortunate enough to see any wildlife, be ready to be amazed.

Cheapest way to reach this place is Uber from Bishkek. All classical taxi drivers asks about 2000soms but Uber is about 700soms. Park itself is amaing to hike and easy to camp anywhere yoi want. You can find many water resources to drink and on the way there some bridges to cross the river

This place is just breathtaking. Do visit if youre in Bishkek. The best thing was the natural apple trees which were full with the fruit. Enjoyed a lot. Both the scenery and the apples 💚💚

Ala Archa in winter is a fairytale country. Everything is covered by the whitest ever snow and you cannot feed your heart and your eyes with its beauty. Astonishingly stunning view opens from the fallen heart stone up on the way to the Ak-Say waterfall. It is an ideal location for Bishkeks residents and country guests to have a one day trip to the fabulous nature. You can feed and pat forest squirrels, take a picture of wild ibex and goats, even if you are lucky enough to face a real snow leopard.

This park is just approx. 30 mins drive from Bishkek and is popular with the locals/families as well since some of them came here for picnic. Theres entrance fee for this park which is why the park is very well maintained. There are shorter hikes as well as longer hikes which will take one to the waterfall. I took the shorter hike. The scenery is nice but certain part of the path could be a bit steep.

Once was not enough! I went twice! Once the waterfall trail and the other the river trail. Beautiful!

Great place for hiking, camping

Natural beauty only about 45 minutes from Bishkek. Coat us 450 KGS to enter with three people in one car. Only spent a couple hours, did one small trail and had bad luck with weather but still managed to see some nice views. There are trails from one hour to eight, which means you can spend anywhere from an hour to a whole day trekking here.

Kyrgyzstan is all about the amazing mountainside. If you’re in Bishkek, with Ala Archa being on your doorstep I beg you to check out the beautiful Ala Archa National Park. It has many walking routes to suit your needs. I recommend that everyone visits “the waterfall”. For those with a bit more fire in the thighs check out the camp site at 3000 metres.

This place is untouched and raw beauty. Nothing can describe this place until you see it. The hike is tough but worth the effort. Make sure you bring some hiking sticks and lots of water. You need to be fully self sustainable.

Beautiful scenery , easy hike & gorgeous view

Must visit when u are in Bishkek. It costs 4500 som for a private taxi from Bishkek to “trail head” and back. The taxi driver will wait for you while you are hiking. If you take local bus will stop at entrance, and you still need to walk to the start of trail. It is not a short distance.

Amazing national park with hiking trails with various levels of difficulty. You’ll see picturesque views with different landscapes. There is a waterfall at the end of the blue trail. You need some fitness to be able to hike and climb mountains.

Great place for hiking. Beautiful Mountains!If you go to here from Bishkek you can go hiking less than 1 hour with Mashrutka 265 to Kash Su and hitchhike 20 mins to Ala Archa

Great national park with exitment for hikers lots of walking climing and fun

Fantastic lovely magnificent. Its how beautiful Allah has created the earth.The place is like 40 km away from Bishkek center, a taxi or rented car will help youThe approach road is also superb. You will see valleys and mountains on the way. Depending on time of year, you will find snow or Green on the mountains.Once you are in the park, you got to walk. The roads are not that hard to trekking, at least I managed. Good to have shoes with good grip and winter clothes

Best time to visit it is autumn. At that time you can see beauty of Ala-Archa National Park. However I was there in winter.

Very nice place to visit just 20 kms outside Bishkek. But u will not find any animals or birds. If you to visit a peace and a calm place u can visit. However if you come to Bishkek, I highly recommend to visit it at least once. It is not crowded. I visited it on a Saturday expecting a good crowd but there were only about 25 people. U need to rent a vehicle to reach and to go back, there is no public transport available.

Absolutely beautiful place not far from Bishkek. Its very popular for hiking and climbing. Make sure to go further inside to see the really beautiful nature.

The National park Ala Archa is about 50 km from Bishkek, at around 2 km altitude. It is a very popular location for hiking and climbing. The air is amazingly fresh, and the nature is beautiful and wild with waterfalls, colourful forests and a nice river. Too bad that the infrastructure is not a bit better. Before visiting, you better bring all the groceries, since there is no shop there at all, and there is only small Ala Archa hotel with limited offer of food and drinks.

The start of many terrific hikes to the 30m waterfall, Razek House (Razek was an alpinist who built a house on top of the mountain as a starting point to peaks). Now Razek House serves as a hotel for alpinists and provides accommodation, as well as cafe services. The Park itself hosts hundreds of people every week who escape Bishkek heat in summer, enjoy river, fur trees and nature. The park has a hotel, cafe, and many picnic spots both for rent and for free.

Verry beautiful nature, crazy wild river and amazing hikes. Only too bad people leave a lot of trash.

If you just arrived in Bishkek this is definitely the first place for hiking (beginnersand spending time in nature, 40 minutes from Bishkek.

Just 30-40minute run from the city (bishkek).Things to do:-day hiking.-shower under natural glacier waterfall.-trekking.if you love to do trekking you can go even further & climb Corona peak.-inside the park you can find a lodge & small cafes.

Try to go to Recak hut (1300m altitude changeand not just the waterfall for a day trip, the struggle in the steep bit at the end is well worth the view you get up there. Dont believe the official hike durations, took me 4h15 return, although that was forcing it. 6 hours should suffice though, for the average mountaineer and fit hiker.At time of writing, expect to pay 500-1000kgs one way for the taxi from Bishkek, plus 450 park entrance per vehicle.
