Al Shakoor-the Restaurant in Bradford

Amazing

I visited Al-Shakoor after a busy day of shopping. We ordered the ‘King Tawa’ for 4 of us and we were not disappointed.The starters were amazing and fresh and so were the Handis, they tasted authentic like a home cooked Handi. The Naan was also very soft and fresh.The atmosphere was excellent along with the service we received. The main chef/owner also came out to our table to ask if everything was ok with our meal.We was very impressed and will definitely be visiting again.

We have always loved AL-SHAKOOR so decided to book this restaurant out for a family meal to celebrate my daughters GCSE results. There was nearly 40 of us including children. The owner was so accommodating, we paid for 9 four people tawas. Food came out on time and every tawa was delicious. Drinks and tea was also provided. The owner was really lovely and met all our needs. Definitely would recommend for a meal or an event.

Unbelievably good. Probably the best restaurant Ive been to in the UK. I was visiting family in Bradford from the US, and I tried multiple restaurants in London, Slough, High Wycombe, and Bradford, and this restaurant was the best, hands down. Get the Tawa depending on the amount of people you have, ie., Tawa for 2 for 2 people, Tawa for 3 for 3 people, etc., Every single type of meat has its own spices. The Curry is amazing. Just go, its so darn good!

Walked in no one served had to phone the place to grab their attention got told to sit down no one came to us for a good 15 mins so just walked out rubbish customer service

Came here all the way from Birmingham and first time round food was good however the service for this place lacks, if you’re serving people do it with professionalism . However on the plus side food was good and understandable due to Ramadan limited menu only available, yet still given the whole menu.

I went today with my family and we saw our food was raw. The owner came and demand the food wasnt raw when his waiter and cooks admitted it was he then began to shout at the waiter and made us pay full price. The owner is very rude, poor food and ut made my little sister sick when we came home I wouldnt recommend it very rude owner

On Mother’s Day I went with my family .food was uncooked . Owner of the restaurant is soooo rude soooo disgusting I will never go back I recommend people dnt go there he is selling poisonous food .Bradford council should look into it and give him high fine for selling raw food my daughter reached home she started vomiting and another thing for bradford council and related departments he is charging customers cash only it’s mean he is hiding taxes as well and robbing UK government .

Went to this place with my family the food was not cooked properly we had told the worker that the food wasn’t cooked and he saw it the called the owner and had told him he kept saying that the food is fine when the worker had admitted that it wasn’t cooked. The owner was very rude and had no respect they also took full money for the food. When we had come home my little sister who has diabetes was sick.

So I went here with family.. ordered the king tawa for 6 .. a couple of things let it down for example fish pakoras and wings but overall it was decent .. karais were very nice .. owner could have smiled a little more .. seemed grumpy for some reason .. cost was 120 pounds including drinks which is a little high in my opinion .. overall it wasnt too bad
