Al Mandaloun - Lebanese restaurant in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
It pains me to write this review but I hope the restaurant reads it and improves. I had the lunch special of the day which was mlukhieh. It came with a soup and a salad. The lentil soup was very watery and lacked substance and flavor. The fattoush salad was excellent. The mlukhieh needed a lot of improvement. It just didn’t taste like it should. It’s a huge portion. I would rather get a smaller portion that’s better quality. It’s clear that they are not catering to Arab customers. The service was very good.
The food is amazing and very good and friendly staff.
Good place and service. Food was fresh too
Its a Arabic restaurant.. You can find all the Arabic dishes in thi restaurant with some different coffee, juices and mocktails. This is located in Dubai International financial center (DIFC)
The order was not complete I ordered from noon the sandwich is ridiculously small this what I got for a shish tawook sandwich very small and oily and came late from noon and missing item from the restaurant. Value for money is zero
I came with a office colleague. We ordered lamb chops, humus, chicken swarma and a salad. Each item was bad and blunt. The meat were dry like old. Very disappointed. Very poor quality of food. Not recommended
Lebanese food. At its best. This is not a wanna be restaurant in a prime location, these guys are legit.Every menu item will blow you away. For experiment sake try the ...humus with meat served with fresh bread its a low cost item and will show you how amazing this places food is.
I went there for lunch during rush hour, must say the food was delicious as always, we ordered a variety of appetizers and grilled meat. The meat was succullent and food in general was good. The grilled halloumi however was a bit salty.Must say that the service is not par with the place and food and was disappointing. We waited ten minutes to speak to someone Arabic as the waiter didnt understand on us at all and cancelled the order instead.A new service that was introduced and that I really liked was the ability to pay directly at the table without ordering it from the waiter, but rather thru a QR code connected with the table and you can also split the bill directly on it. I must say its a first and surely would recommend other outlets to implement during busy times. This would surely make a difference in service. In all cases, I look forward to returning back once again and hope that the service would have improved by then.
Ordered delivery, your Shish Taouk was really amazing, perfectly cooked and tasty chicken!!!
Great food and staff, highly recommend for a nice shisha place in DIFC
Not bad but not great, sadly nothing to write about... if this place is popular then those who frequent DIFC have zero taste buds
The restaurant seating was alright but the waiters were sweet. On Zomato they had a seafood selection but on arrival they had none (including what was stated in their latest physical menubesides the calamari ring starters. They had a set Ramadan menu without a seafood option and on request of switching the beef/chicken option with the calamari starter (because I am a Pescetarianthey refused - I understand it is not part of the deal but would have been nice to accommodate noting I was brought in on false pretences. My friends who ordered the ramadan set menu had to share 1 appetiser each, mind you there were 5 people with separate set menu for each. The food was brought out at random order, main dish first then soup and somewhere in between there was appetisers being shared. Overall, seems disorganised and lack of management !
Mouth watering and authentic Lebanese cuisines which would like to enjoy with your family and friends. Food service is amazing and friendly gesture of restaurants staff. A must visit place in DIFC😇
Its your standard Leb food; perfectly adequate but nothing special. Good service, huge quantity of mezze. Grilled meats good too.
While service was a touch spotty (when they get moderately busythe food and location is well worth it. Don’t miss the spicy lamb shawarma, it’s one of the best in the city. The salads are solid but tell them to go light on the dressing.
The staff is friendly. The outside views are relaxing. The food is amazing!!!! So much food per order. Portions are a great size. The sprite is better than in America! Great photo ops too😉 5/5. I’ll be back!!!!
Great restaurant. Very good quality food, tender bbq... stamped the valet card too in the end. Full marks on food and service. Thank you
The worst experience is when you go to a restaurant and you found it closed. But nothing showed you that will be closed or anything and the worst case that when we called to check they said yes we are open .. it need to be properly managed
Thats the place for business lunch at the heart of DIFC where you will be guaranteed to enjoy one of the best Lebanese cuisine in Dubai.
Great place for Lebanese food. Good friendly service. Have a daily dish for a quick business lunch.
Its rather interesting place with varied cuisine. The view is something special here too. If you just want some tasty food, good hookah and silence - you should visit this place! :)
Al mandaloun is a Lebanese Restaurant with a stunning view located in DIFC, and having a seating capacity of over a dozen tables, it is a very decent place for families to dine in Arabic food.We started with a cold and hot mezze platter, and the bread basket. The bread was puffed with air and piping hot made in their in house bakery. Next we tried Falafel with Tahini which was excellent and super in taste. Batata harra- fried potatoes with herbs. I just love these.Had the cheesy manakish and falafel sandwich too ... both are so good.Drinks we had were fresh lemon mint and fresh orange juice. In dessert we had the Kunafa ,the crispy from outside combined with the soft cheese and sugar syrup made it an excellent combination. We really loved the food here. Visit Al mandaloun restaurant with friends and families, i am definitely revisiting this place for some amazing views and service.
The food was very good. A good choice when in the area especially at night time.

Been there last Friday for a lunch and it was an amazing experience.Their ambiance is cozy with a tremendous view.I lobe their food taste as it quite delicious.
We had the chance to visit Al Mandaloun restaurant in DIFC Gate 3 on the 2nd floor.Al Mandaloun is a traditional Lebanese restaurant that serves authentic Arabic dishes along with freshly made pastries and delicious cold and hot appetizers.Manakeesh; One of the restaurant’s main speciality and are a very popular breakfast food around the Middle-East region and come in a variety of different toppings, so you could always go for your favorite topping but when in doubt you can opt for Al Mandaloun’s Baker Board which contains 8 mini manakeesh of 4 of the most sought for toppings which are Za’atar, Cheese, Lahm B’ajeen(meat pieand Keshek which are freshly served right out of the oven and are crispy on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside.Overall, the ambiance is great, the staff are very friendly and the views are amazing which makes Al Mandaloun a great choice for either a quick breakfast or a nice authentic business lunch with colleagues. Highly recommended!
The location is very nice, peaceful with goof outdoor seating. Weather is perfect to dine outside these days. The sound of water right next to resturant is soothing. We tried grilled platter for the main course and the taste was good, could be better. Salad was fresh and delicious. In starters, baba ganoush and spring roles were good. Portions are small so order accordingly. Manakesh was really delicious and freshly made. Overall good experience 😌
A great Lebanese restaurant in the heart of the DIFC. Generous portions and good value. There is a nice terrace outside too.
Some of the best Lebanese food I’ve ever tried - and for Dubai, this is really great! Loved the Kibbeh and the beef shawarma!
I had food delivered from this restaurant.⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️Food:The food was very tasty. The ingredients were very fresh and the portions big enough. I was very impressed with the food delivered.⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️Service:The customer service was superb. The food delivered exactly at the time expected.⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️Overall:It’s a great Arabic restaurant to order food from.
Great spot to hang out and for a business lunch. Really good options for vegetarians as well. Falafels here are awesome and are a must try.
Very nice place to have Arabic food. Excellent taste and plenty of seating inside as well as outside the restaurant. Location is superb in DIFC.Service is excellent.
Cant describe how delicious the food is amazing tasty, i am drooling now, high quality tasty, its an arabic lebanese restaurant, its a must to try it at least twice, once for breakfast and another for lunch. Staff are welcoming and friendly, service is very fast and clean, i love the background old lebanese cultural songs. i took once my non arab colleagues they fell in love with the food, i am almost a daily customer and now my sister is addicted to the different selection of dishes. we feel if we are at home.
Ordered food for 3 (3 shish taouk, 1 moutabal and 1 hummusand received only 2 mini packs of bread, what a shame. Next time I would spend my money to another generous restaurant, made me look like a fool in front of my guests as there was no enough bread for all of us.
I would not be exaggerating if I had to say this place is one of the best Lebanese restaurants in the UAE by far!! Freshness of the ingredients, flavourful dishes, variety in the menu, cleanliness of the place speak for itself
Over priced for average Lebanese meal. The Manakesh was more like a pizza than a Manakesh. The Shish Tawaouk - definitely worth a try, but was a bit dry (as per Indian tastesbut perfectly grilled. Food for thought - still to develop taste of eating grilled Tawouk with just bread.

I visited Al Mandaloun alongside my family & we had a fabulous time! The staff was so attentive and friendly, the food was absolutely outstanding and the setting was beautiful. Sitting in the heart of DIFC this Lebanese gem is sure to surprise you! Surrounded by the high rise buildings their outdoor seating is cozy & comfortable enough to get you started! We enjoyed a combination of hot and cold mezze all freshly made in the restaurant itself. All of the food is made to perfection! The shish tawook was our favorite, the chicken was so fresh and their ingredients are of highest quality which truly reflects in the taste of the food! For a choosy eater like myself, specially when it comes to fresh poultry it’s fabulous to find a place using such high quality ingredients & absolutely freshly made food! Also don’t forget to try their desserts (:
Best place to eat arabic dish. Staff very friendly and ambiance is amazing. Evening time out side seating is very good. Chill out atmosphere between the huge buildings of DIFC. They have amazing combo. Offers with food and sheesha as well. Different flavours of sheesha is available.
Located at DIFC gate 3 Al Mandaloun is fine place to try authentic Lebanese cuisine. The name itself touches a chord with all Lebanese, as it means the tall curves windows, a famed structure in design back home. The place is massive and can easily hold up to 400 people. You can sit inside in their comfortable chairs or in the open outside which has two areas, one of which for Shisha. The mixed seafood platter was our next order from the grill section. These were lovely piece of large prawns, seabream and Salmon, served with boiled vegetables. This was a fine platter and they have truly used best ingredients, not only on this but in all dishes that we tried. The Prawns were delicious, and Tuna was fantastic, crispy skin added more delight to this dish.
Came for iftar and had their set menu for a very affordable price. Had jallab for drinks, lentil soup, hummus, moutabal, fatoush, vine leaves, eggplant mousaka and fish tajin for cold mezze, mix mouajanat for hot mezze and for the main course we had mixed grill with fries and of course a meal is not meal without a dessert, we had assortment of katayef and coffee. They also offer complimentary shisha. The place is welcoming, with a very accomodating staff, they even offered us “dilis” which i can highly recommend for you guys to also try.Valet parking available
Al Mandaloun is one of the best Lebanese restaurants in town. It is more packed during lunch but evening shisha on the terrace is nice too. The hot bread and lamb chops are my favorite (most of Chinese guests I bring there love the bread!)Btw, When HH Sheikh Mohammed comes to DIFC, he might sit outside of Al Mandaloun and dine there, so it tells whether it is a good Lebanese restaurant :)
Al Mandaloun - A lavish lebanese restaurant located at DIFC is an excellent place to satisfy your lebanese food cravings.Eventhough its a fine dining concept, they are serving scrumptious lebanese street food dishes like manakeesh, shawarma etc.We started off with Fresh Cocktail& Pomegranate & Pineapple Juice.Pomegranate & pineapple juice is a must try at mandaloun.I really liked the combination.DISHES ORDERED:-Cheese thin crust manakeesh - This is a must try at mandaloun.Freshly baked cheese manakeesh was yummy.Al Mandaloun Salad - It was fresh & tasted good.We also tried hummus with kibbeh.Batata Harra - I have tried batata harra from many places. This was the best.It was perfectly spiced and cooked.Chicken Shawarma- Shawarma served in saj bread was super juicy.Mix Grill- Grilled to perfection but the quantity was less.Grilled Shrimps - Another must try at Al Mandaloun.Grilled shrimps served with veggies etc was perfectly seasoned and grilled.Kunafa - I totally enjoyed their freshly baked kunafa with lots of cheese!!We also had Ghazal Beirut ,A dessert made of cotton candy.VERDICTAmbiance - Lavish & Spacious fine dining with outdoor terrace.Service - Friendly & Welcoming Staff.Ratings -5/5
Do you love Arabic food, especially Lebanese? This is the place for you. When its winter, and there is a sitting arrangement outside, its just awesome. One that is in DIFC has an excellent ambiance along with an awesome crowd.A must visit for Lebanese food but big NO for vegetarian.
Great Arabic food. Big fan of Al Mandalouns Lamb Shawarma sandwich, one of the best in UAE without exageration. Indoor seating for summers is recommended, October onwards is a good time to sit outside with a view of DIFC gate and Emirates Towers. Restaurant also serves Shisha.
