El Jazzar St, Acre, Israel, ‘Akko
Completed in 1781, this stately, architecturally notable mosque looks out on the Mediterranean Sea.
very beautiful mosque!!!! Mashallah
Quiet and clean. Not very crowded
Very clean and calm mosque
Being a Christian, one didnt expect to be invited to a Muslims treasure nicely. BUT. The level of hospitality and kindness weve received at the Mosque was extremely pleasant. The Mosque itself is a real worlds heritage (history, architecture, atmosphere). People were really friendly. Weve enjoyed every minute of that visit. Its not five its hundred stars.
The oldest mosque in the area a lot of history in this place
A mosque everyone can visit for a charge of NIS10 (only cash). The biggest mosque in Israel outside of Jerusalem. The place the ottoman governor AL Jazzar is buried together with his son Suleiman.
From the outside it looks beautiful, but due to Covid-19, entry is allowed only to worshippers.
A beautiful mosque. You can pray quietly and peacefully. It is adjacent to the old market
Historical mosque must visit
Beautiful reference of Islamic culture.
very unprofessional staff. Offered to conduct tour as we entered and only after told us there was a high fee.
Easily accessible to tourists, a nice stop on a visit to this historic city.
a place of historical importance , i recommend visiting it if you are in the old city of acre
A beautiful place
Very unprofessional staff. Mosque is nice.
El Ghazar Mosque, the Pasha mosque, is one of the most famous buildings in the Old Acre landscape. Its green domes look far and it is considered the largest mosque in the country outside of Jerusalem. The mosque was founded in 1781 by Al-Jazar, who was the ruler of Acre and is considered the most magnificent and magnificent of all the mosques erected in the Land of Israel during the Ottoman period.A nice spot for every one who visits the area!
Beautiful.. again!!So many beautiful Mosques
Historically , wonderful and legendary place you smell the old age here.
Very historical place , around 240 years
The second largest mosque in Israel, I suggest to visit it inside, it is beautiful and is accessible to non-Muslims when there arent religious ceremonies.

The Great Mosque of Jezzar Pasha was built in 1781. Jezzar Pasha and his successor Suleiman Pasha, are both buried in a small graveyard adjacent to the mosque. In a shrine on the second level of the mosque, a single hair from the prophet Mohammeds beard is kept and shown on special ceremonial occasions.
Entrance fee of ten shekels..two and a half euros, three dollars 💵..located In the middle of the ancient city. A mosque dedicated to AL Jazzar, the one who stopped Napoléon Bonaparte from conquering the city and from there his way back to France 🇫🇷 was decided
The second big mosque in Israel
Akko is one of the world´s oldest city therefore, if you happen to be in Israel, a visit to this stunning place is a must! The town has an Arabic looking, with the majority of the inhabitants being of Arabic culture. This spectacular Mosque is very recognizable, since its tower sticks out from the old town skyline. To enter you gotta pay a little fee of 2€. Once inside there´s an option to hire a guide that will explain you everything you need to know about this amazing piece of art.
The most butefull historical place to visit in Akker
Its pretty nice, but in my eyes nothing out of the ordinary. Even though we were Muslim, they wanted us to pay 10₪ each, to go in, which for this sight is way overpriced, since a place to pray should be for free.
Beautiful mosque that is an important piece of history. Dont expect to see an architecturally superior mosque, but the location is what makes this mosque beautiful. Just by the water where you can catch a breeze, this is a place where you will be at ease and content. Tip: you cannot enter if you are wearing shorts. And for women, you must wear a headscarf to enter the courtyard.
Beautiful architecture and place. I did not enjoy the fact that the entrance fee is not included in the combined ticket.
very beautiful historic mosque, great architecture
This seemed a bit too hyped for me vs other mosques Ive been to in the world.
It was a great place which there were a very good people who want always to help you in any thingBut you have to know thats the name of this pla5is al jassar mousqo
Great place to see.
A piece of architecture of the utman era, named after al jazzal who conquered Akka for the utmans
Resonates with spirituality that is almost mystical - entrance cost 10 shekels. It was almost empty on Saturday afternoon.
Beautiful mosque to see.
Beautiful place. Nice view and the architecture is remarkable!!!
Excellent. Nice guide and beautiful building!! The garden is awesome as well.
