Very good taste and the prices are fair

The food is delicious but the prices are little bit higher than expected...

Our order arrived around 30 min late. The manager was apologetic in a useless kind of way and did not offer any sort of discount or compensation(useless apology is very common in Jordan). The service was terrible and on several occasions I had to go ask the waiters to bring something for us. They should have been way more attentive to our needs.

All was ok except for the Kabab. The Kabab had a bad smell and same goes for the taste. The grilled meat chops was great. The chicken was ok.

The place was more of a show than an eating experience everything was either average or below average considering the food, the place looked great and I liked the aesthetic and how they introduce some antique show pieces

Delicious food from chef Muktar, and wonderful ambiance. I fell in love with the whole atmosphere. Attentive service from Essa, Ahmad, and Annas. Special thanks for the manager. They made my youngest son and I feel at home.

Hope you have a look at the current situation.. I had the worst experience ever and was hoping to find one good thing to mention as a restaurant other than the ambiance which was good and that is the only thing.Will start .. we ordered soup with starters and main course ... And they were served all together .. I asked him why you didnt bring the soup and starters first? Now the main course will be cold after starters ... The soup was served without spoons!!We found hair inside one of the dishes and they took to change after saying sorry but they didnt change... They just changed the plate!!!More........The food was too spicy even that was not mentioned in the menu ... And when we mentioned this point they said it is normal! We were not able to eat the food.Further more.. we asked to take away the remaining food (to give to someone instead of throwing it outbut they send to garbage!!Last but not least ... They presented another invoice by mistake ... Then when I said we didnt order these items they said sorry its not your invoice!I wonder how can run a restaurant with all this mess even it was having only us and another table!!!For the taste... It is just normal... Nothing special at all.

I have to say ,I enjoyed every single bite if the meal in al herbal. I hade 2course meal fokhara and shawarma . Considering to the quality,the price is reasonable. I deal at evenings who want a romantic night . There was also plenty of private room for bigger groups private celebration.

If there was a minus rating, Id definitely give it, cause the place really deserves it.The place is cold, the service is the poorest, and the food was late and served cold.Both the quality and the quantity are questionable.They served the food on 3 different times, which has actually caused awkwardness, like what place serves the order on in multiple stages.the staff wasnt professional and it was the worst way to start the day.

Gorgeous restaurant in the heart of As-Salt, it is located in an old Ottoman style house that overlooks the town square. Food was good (the menu has both traditional and less adventurous dishesand prices were fair.

Great food and incredible ambiance. Get your henna tattoo or some handcrafted goods and food by local women and enjoy the beauty of a 1827 ottoman built Palace while having a great meal.

Location and heritage vibes were really good. But other than that, it was the worst experience I ever had in Jordan !Not clean, waited for a very long time to get the order, and finally, the food quality was really bad !If you are going for lunch or dinner, it is not recommended at all.

A gem of a restaurant. Good traditional Jordanian food located down town As Salt city. The restaurant has many traditional artifacts housed in an old Ottoman era building. Comfortable seating. Put this place on your list of restaurants to eat at while in Jordan. Very reasonable prices. Great service.

Mixed bbq was not that good. Juices were ok, i loveeeed the Sajiyyah as well as the soup. The rshouf soup is a must !!

This restaurant must be on top of your to-do list in jordan, it has the best vibes of traditional jordanian culture, this place is over +100 year old, its like a museum ... The food cooked with love, just like home ... The service is too good, they look after you very well, Special thanks for the chef and staff for making my stay pleasant. I highly recommend it!

B E A U T I F U L....!! It has history, art and beauty. A sweet place with a lovely view, outdoor seating and very friendly staff. They speak very good English and explain about the dishes if you want to know more. Cost is moderate. Its located next to Salt antiquities museum. Parking maybe an a little difficult during busy time. Once you finish ordering you can walk around and see the art works displayed there. The staff also took the time in explaining to us about the names given to each room and its significance.Recommendation- 101%If you are going to As-Salt then dont miss this beautiful place.
