Al-Fanar Palace Hotel in As Salt

I spent only one night here, to be specific about 7 hours. Acceptable food, if you are hungry definitely you will find something to eat. Dirty rooms, from my perspective only sheets were changed. Dust was in the bathroom, on the lamp next to the beds. Recommend for people who just need to have a sleep somewhere, not for a longer staying. From positive side, I had an issue with water in the bathroom, it was easy and fast fixed by the staff.

Had an event here. The function room is stunning. However the breakfast was awful. Also, they didnt offer a prayer room in the entire hotel. Kind of embarrassing when they call themselves palace and this simple service isnt met. They have a prayer floor which is completely open making it unacceptable for women to pray there. Even the water on the table tasted like tap water although it was bottled. Quality of service very low.

Very basic and the hotel is in need of maintenance/paint. Fortunately, we were only here a night. Fridge does not come with water and ours wasnt on at all or broken. No small kettle or such amenities in the room. The lobby is sumptuously decorated and smart but the rooms and overall hotel is disappointing.

The worst hotel you wold stay in , dirty rooms , dirty and smelly bathrooms ,the AC doesn’t work properly , the place where the hotel is has a lot of traffic, the service is kinda good but won’t recommend it at all

Respectful staff but disgusting hotel. The rooms are barely clean, the hallways smell of cigarettes and trash, and the service is horrible. Not mentioning the inedible breakfast and the smelly towels.

It was horrid I have a family of 4 and they treated us horrible and have to pay 40 JOD just to order food tother hotel and the suite cost 500JOD And the suite on the picture was huge but its tiny and the beds are so uncomfortable never go there

Nice, neat place to have your weeding. In the small rooms, tidy weedings could be held.

Do not use this hotel, specially they are horrible worker, they love money. They do think customer as money. And we ask the sugar a little but they said 5jd.And when we say uncomfortable thinf they say yes but did not do anything.

The food is acceptable, not very diversified. Dinner was served from 19 to 22, but from 20.30 you did not find any food. The cleanliness in the rooms and in the bathroom leaves to be desired.

They serve good selection of breakfast and dinner... both buffet. Moreover, the twin room was quite big and the hotel is clean and fragrant. Recommended to stay in.

The lounge and foye is presented with great quality that sadly doesnt continue into the rooms. My power sockets didnt work, the water in the shower didnt drain properly and in general the quality of the rooms were poor to average quality.

Though the lobby is nice the rooms are poorly maintained and noisy, but very spacious and clean. The dinner and breakfast buffet were mediocre.

The area where the hotel is placed is crowded and the parking is not easy. Food is good. Even Indians can feel comfortable as far as food is concerned. The maintenance of the rooms need to be improved. But overall it is good.

Extremly bad.. The air-condition does not work in any of the rooms properly.. We had done a group booking of 25 people and everyone complained the same.. Our bathroom was flooding everytime we flushed room no. 328. They did not bother to fix it for the 3 days we stayed and they only changed our rooms when we fought with them.

The rooms were huge. The bed was decent quality. The plugs are funny and dont work for European chargers. The rooms were clean. You can change divisa at the reception. The decoration is a bit old but it gets the job done. The personal was helpful and nice. The area is a bit far from the centre and needs taxi or uber. The buffet is big but we found a small fly in the food. Its alright overall

Agh, this hotel is falling apart. You can tell that it used to be a 4 star, I would give it a 2 now. Its not clean - rooms are big but everything is falling apart. Plugs Dont work that well, and the restaurant didnt really give me a hygenic feeling. I wouldnt recommend this unless youre super strictly under a budget.

I have not personally stayed at this hotel but my mom did and she was pleased. I would like to acknowledge the staffs helpfulness. I have called from abroad to arrange a small surprise for my moms birthday, who was travelling with a group from Romania. I spoke with the manager Shukri Yousef, who offered a complementary b-day cake. My mom was pleasantly surprised and all went smooth. I am very pleased with the service, and all it took was one phone call (glad that the staff spoke English as I dont speak the local language).Thank you again to the staff for great hospitality!

I dont know about the rooms . But the wedding halls too bad, the person in charge was uncooperative and the service team unprofessional. It was a bad experience

The lobby is OK. Rooms are big but look old and dirty. Bathroom is in the same way. Towels and linen could be changed daily, but their colour is dirty white.

Ive never been in a place so bad. I would like to give them minus 5. The hotel is very dirty, the towels look like they are never washed. The only reason I stayed is because I was with a group. They gave the same food for many days for breakfast and dinner. One of the servers stickeed his fingers in the food and put in his mouth while serving. My safe and the heat in the room did not work I called the front desk they sent someone to fix it; they came to the room saw the problem never came back. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay at your own risk.

Quite nice! Good breakfast and decent rooms. Only issue is that we had a leak in the bathroom and there was water everywhere, and the staff didnt change our towels.

Great hotel. But, we need electricity cattle to cook hot water for drink. It also needs to repair air heater so we dont feel that cool during cold season. The breakfast is great. But, thing that I love most in this hotel is souvenir shop selling beautiful Jordanian souvenirs. I really love it. The owner is very friendly.

The hotel is spacy enough and nice place to stay. The food is not that great but as southeast asian I can eat well here. The room is well-equipped but unfortunately in my bathroom the flush button is a little bit broken so I have to open the top of the closet first to pull the flush.

look impressive on the outside. room sizes varied - some are average-sized but some are huge esp the corner room. bedding is acceptable.room furniture is quite old and need to be replaced. food in the restaurant are below average esp dinner menu which has few selections. location is on a busy road.no convenience store nearby. to those who are used to making their own hot drink - there is no coffee making facilities, kettle and worst there is also no bottled drinking water provided so... bring your own

I went to wedding over there, nice place delicious open papheet. One issue there werent enough parking space the valet parking was on a muddy area

Stayed here from 27th-June till 30th-June 2018. Had a great stay. It is at the outskirts of the city (20 mins from city center).Hotel has a extensive buffet style breakfast. Havent had the chance to eat lunch or dinner there, however, we did order room service Chicken Biryani which was good for 2 (would need 2 if really hungry).Extra Sofa bed was a little uncomfortable but manageable for 2 nights.I booked a sea facing room with balcony but it would be unnecessary as sea is blocked by coconut trees. Had great view of pool and the bar outside however, balcony was not usable because of humidity and bugs (mostly mosquitoesflying. Talking of humidity, balcony better be left closed or your room floor will get wet with the humidity and you start slipping.

The worst hotel ever stayed in my life. It should not be given even 1 start..I wonder how the authorities give approval to operate such a kind of hotel. Rooms were stinky with cockroaches around the rooms. Bathrooa were leaking with broken tiles and door. No air conditioner control in room ( and in some room it was not working at all). Food was another disaster. One of our team member got food poison from their food. You can see flies in their Hummus.. Restaurant staff dont know how to behave with their guests.Stayed in this building ( I dont call it a hotelfor two days from Jun 16-17, 2018..as part of a group tour.Guys..stay away from this property.

We as a group of 43 checked in on 06 May at 6 pm. The waitress was not courteous. We did not enjoy the hospitality towards a tourist. Today morning there was not water supply. Till we check out the problem was not rectified. The hotel management was very casual about it. Very bad experience.

Old hotel. Breakfast was mandatory with little choice. No shop near to the hotel to buy general stuff. The staff took money from me to bring water from shop but actually gave me water from room service quota...

Good middle of the run hotel but offers a descent heated pool and Sauna as well as a Gym at reasonable membership prices. Needs to improve cleanliness and customer service. Location is on a very busy road that is hard to reach by foot and quite dangerous to cross the road.

The hotel has a glittering facade, rooms are spacious and comfortable. We were traveling in a group. Maybe thats why we were given a very dinghy dining room. The hotel, especially, the dining room was rather noisy, more due to the stewards, who talked loudly and dropped cutlery frequently. The stewards should be trained in communication and soft skills, as most of us found them rather rude. By the way, just check out the toilets, since our flush wasnt very efficient.

It was a geart choice to spend my holiday at Al Fanar Hotel. Really was a wonderful stay and everything was great ,the service , food and all the area around especially the beach. It was really awesome! Best holiday ever. Clean, biiig new rooms, a lot of food, drinks, everyone is smiling. Everything is like on picture! No people. Perfect weather. This is paradise!

I was really satisfied. But, in comparison in previous year, cordiality of staff a little bit decreased, especially in dinning room and luggage personal. I really appreciate possibility to have dinners in other spaces mainly as such as Breakers and As Sammak. It was the most impressive experience for us. Thank you very much. We will be back again !!!

Comfortable hotel to overnight in. Good facilities but does not serve alcohol. We found out when we brought a bottle of wine to have with dinner. The staff didnt have a corkscrew but we managed to open the bottle and enjoy ourselves notwithstanding. They dont have any objections to you bringing your own alcohol but they just dont serve any as a rule. The maitre d is a very friendly and jovial chap.

Ive stayed here three times with my young son. The service is first -class, room service is fast and friendly, and in true Jordanian style, the staff are wonderful with small children. Theres a good-sized swimming pool and a jacuzzi. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Theyll also book you a taxi to the airport. One of the best hotels Ive stayed in, especially for the price.

clean ,good ,very helpful people,excellent place and not expensive neither sheep but be careful, if you are staying in the summer and you dont love noise ,the hotel have a big party and weeding halls that might annoy you at night
