Al Bawadi Barcelona - Lebanese restaurant in Barcelona, Spain
Dont eat the falafel. They re-heat it after they fried it who knows when.Only eat falafel where you can see it being prepared fresh from the mix in front of you.
If I could give zero stars, I would. This restaurant poisoned me tonight. When ordering I told the waiter that I am allergic to onion and asked for everything without onion. Upon receiving our food I asked to confirm that nothing contained onion and I was given a positive response. Ten minutes later I was sick in the bathroom because there was in fact onion in the food we were given. Do not recommend. Will never return.
I will not come back here no matter how many times we come to Barcelona
Good and frish food with full of options.Sheesha aleso is good.Staff are frindly and kind
Nice place for shisha
Lovely service, superb food and great prices.
Absolutely yummy and flavourful food for reasonable prices. Great options for vegetarians too. Highly recommended.
Poor quality, they are dealing with arabs ppl living in barcelona to bring tourist for commission and add it to the bill ,thats bad and a kind of cheating the clients
Low quality, high prices, poor service
The lentil soup here is really good. Also the spinach stuffed pita and the Moroccan bean soup are good. The hummus had too much tahini in it for my taste. Also, we got charged 10 euros for a pot of tea, which seems way too high. The rest of the food was reasonably priced. Overall it was good.
The food was good, but the service were poor. The hummus felt more like Tahina, and when pointed out nothing happened, also I ordered Veal sticks, they were a burned on the outside so kind of wasted the good taste of the meat. The rice was good, chicken tawook also good.
there was not a single dish of interest nothing worked it was all oily nothing to do with other lebanese
Disappointment. It is a big restaurant with nice decoration and nice screens, music and sound. The service is a bit slow despite the fact there were only six people at that time.Lebanese food and restaurants are mostly good, but the food here did not have much of a taste.I am not spoiled or anything, but at some point, I thought maybe I got Corona... πI had the soup and some pastries. I did not risk main dish.Mostly, exceuting the chef, solves the problem, but I sense this is a symptom and the problem is management.
Amazing place. Excellent service with friendly staff.
Very exagerated price for the food quality..dont recommend
Spinach was sooooooo gooood much recommend!
This place is a joke, charging 10 euros for a beer? San Miguel?Rude staff and very disrespectful
Came here for dinner, it was nice experience. Food was really nice. Service and staff is friendly. If you wana eat good and tasty Lebanese food in Barcelona then this is the place. Also, if you looking for best seesha in Barca, Its the place!
Came from US - late to town and they were open - dont get the pizza. We were staying down the road. My wife had a sampler platter (I believe it was lamband her dinner was DELICIOUS. I had pizza - not such a good idea and not their specialty. We went back and I had a sampler platter with chicken and it was excellent. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We (as Americansdid not realize that tipping was not a normal practice and of course we tipped. We were treated like royalty! Please - if you go - try something new to you. Dont get the pizza.
I absolutely do not recommend this place !!! Rude and disrespectful staff, the waiter didnt even speak to us, not even for a "thank you" or a "goodbye", maybe they were too busy playing with each other or filtering with local girls. Nobody used the covid mask! Not recommended, especially for families
Edit: I had to edit this review from a 5 stars to a 1 star because I had probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a restaurant and I couldnt advice people more to stay away from this place. First time I went there with my guy friends it was all good. Second time I went with my girlfriend a waiter scolded us for being close together, none of the staff were wearing masks and they didnt bring me the shisha that I ordered. Food the second visit was also not as good and overall it was a bad experience. If youre a person whos used to western culture I wouldnt go here because they are trying to put their rules on the guests which is simply ridiculous and unacceptable in my opinion. Theres a lot of Arab places in Barcelona, dont come to this one.
do not go to this place , I went with my boyfriend and they totally discriminated us , they treated us very badly and they were very vocal about us being there. We were hugging ( like a normal coupleand the waitress told us to not do that there because βit is a family restaurantβ , they need to understand that they are located in Barcelona Spain β¦ they need to adapt to the culture were they are in !The food was not even that good , no salt at all in the cooking !They didnβt bring half of the order because βthey forgotβ .As a woman I felt so uncomfortable being there with all the talking and the looking of the staff. Horrible place , I do not recommend to go there .The staff did not wear mask β¦ and the didnβt do social distancing . They are not following the covid rules.
Had a dodgy stomach the day after eating here, perhaps the salad was not washed properly or something worse : ( food was not great either in my experience - maybe just unlucky with what I ordered.
Delicious food, good service and friendly staff
Great services, workers are friendly (Murad). I highly recommend it
Nice π
Very cozy & spacious .kind service good quality Lebanese food. Price is ok taking into consideration quality. Strongly recommend it if you like this food. Its based on organic ingredients.
Great customer service and very delicious foodπππThank you murad for your treatmentβ€οΈβ€οΈ
Great food, great vibes in a great location. Hummus with meat, fattoush falafel and meat Arayes are a must-try. Murad was a great waiter, friendly and funny. Highly recommend the place!
A place for Lebanese food. They serve meats such as lamb, veel and chicken. There are other staples such as moussaka, stuffed peppers, eggplant and soups. Vegetarian food is also available. Food is served with vegetables, rice, couscous and ocher.Delicious food, main courses a little expensive for the portion size.
One of the stuff is a bit rude but the food is ok and a very good place for chilling
This is a tourist trap. I paid nearly β¬18 for a shish tawouk platter. The food was inedible - the hummus felt like a flavorless purΓ©e and the kebabs were overly salted pieces of burnt chicken. I was foolish enough to get ripped off by this place and suggest you stay away!! This place is a scam!
The food is nice and the place is lovely. Interior is amazing, made in a Lebanese style. You can also smoke shisha here. But the only reason I am giving this place 5 stars is their attitude and desire to work with the client. We, a group of 15 people, were looking for a place to eat something and it was around 11 PM. They were closing, but one of us entered and explained the situation and they just opened the kitchen and to served us. I am going to return to this place only because of this.BTW, hummus was really great.
Friendly staff and delicious food in a very cool environment. We got there 20 mins before the kitchen closed and they were nice enough to still serve us. Would definitely recommend for late night dinner and hookah.
Beautifully decorated place with a horrible bitter tasting expensive food, completely overrated place. There are many other better options in the same area.
One of the best food here in Barcelona. Its Halal and tasty.Unfortunately I found the restaurant in my last day in Spain. Staff are wonderful and so caring for everyone.I recommend it to everyone who visit barcelona.
The food tastes like it should but nothing over the top. Quite pricey when it comes to things that shouldnt cost so much. Extra rice was for example 5.5β¬ extra. The shisha was okay but you have to pay extra for cube coals instead of getting the included low-quality quick lights. If youre a tourist and dont speak Arabic they will take advantage of you.
Pretty good chicken and falafal wraps here! They also do hookah here which is cool. My friends and I waited a pretty long time to get our order which is my only criticism. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was awesome and there was lots of space. They also have a bar if you want drinks. Prices are very reasonable too!
Food is really good. The decor is on point & has a nice vibe.
I Went today looking for some food to take away. I had dinner there before and it went well. But today I wanted to avoid places like burger king etc. Well, I ordered lamb shawarma and asked how long it Will take to be ready. The waitress told me "About 5 minutes". Once I opened the container, I realized that the meat wasnt tender and fresh as you can expect. In addition it looked grasy and some of the meat was burn. Totally black. Also, chips are frozen. At least you can serve some quality chips in accordance with the prices you have. See the picture and judge yourself. 13,5 euros for that? This is inadmissible at all.
Large place. Was nearly empty because we came at low time. Staff attentive. Lamb kebabs were very good with good dressing and kibbeh also good (but my family makes good ones so they have competition). The spinach cheese on flat bread was new to us (cant remember the name...see photoand out of this world....very very good. Wish they had Lebanese wine but this is Spain after all. Prices were reasonable.
Food is tasty and thereβs plenty of choices. The hummus was nice and the amount of bread they served with it was just enough. The shawarma was good, served with fries and salad but no bread. The ambient was very good and the service excellent. For 2 adults and a child we spent 65β¬.
Great food and so good service. Sure I will be there again
Very good and delicious food. I really like it. You can see from our plates π . Worth to visit and have amazing Arabian cousin.
The best place to enjoy arab food in the town. Fantastic staffs, great location, just amazing vibe!!
Bad experience and dishonest staff: Good food (although expensive and two small bottles of water cost over EUR5!), but sadly the staff are liars. We paid by card and were presented with the receipt to sign in a foreign currency. When we stated we wanted to pay in Euros, they claimed that the card machine didnt give them that option. This is a lie, and when challenged on it, two separate waiters refused to back down, even making us sign the receipt that stated I confirm that I have been offered a choice of currencies.... Wont be going back.
Lovely restaurant with entertaining music on flat screen tv.Hummus, grape leaves, fattoush salad good.Labneh okMain entrees were good but portions are very small. Havent had Lebanese food in weeks so will recommend this restaurant as it was good to eat something other than pizza or pasta.Pleasant lunch experience
This is my first ever review here (i think). I love this place and the guys are real macho! They are humble and anticipate all your needs. I went here twice in one day because its so great. Many thanks
Amazing Lebanese food, but pricey. About 16 euros for a main course, 6 euro starters like hummus and others. If you ask for more bread, thats also 5 euros. But, if youre willing to pay, its delicious and authentic!
Amazing place, wonderful delicious food and very acceptable prices compared to other places. The staff are very friendly, they even played with my little 11 month baby boy. Definitely I will come again ππ»π
