Wadi Musa, Jordan, Ma'an
Al-Arabi Restaurant - Restaurant in Ma'an, Jordan
I eat here every time I come to Petra and I am not willing to try another restaurant. Food is cheap and great. Make sure to order the chicken shawarma 😋
Great shawarma and falafel sandwich. Staff were very friendly with me
Great service, veeeery good food, tea and coffee. Thank you Mohammad!
We found this place on the internet while visiting Petra. The food was very nice and the staff was cordial and professional. Even though the location doesn’t look like much from the street it mainly hosts the locals. The price is fair but don’t order sparkling water!!! It’s extremely expensive!!! (5JD)All in all I recommend this place.
Very cozy place in the centre of the Town where you can taste good Jordan food and a tasteful lemon&mint drink!Recommended!
Scammers! Prices higher for foreigners than the locals (double price)Very rude cashier!
Overpriced!! Higher prices if you are tourist. Rude owner.
Best falafel in town
The boss and his team were very gentle and is a good man, he even speaks good german . Very good Tea also.
Charged double for 1 plate, tourist trap, this is not Jordanien people what I know. Do not recommend
A very good restaurant, one of the best restaurants in Petra. It has a lot of food that tastes good, especially the shawarma Naber, and that the grilled shawarma tastes crazy, I advise anyone to visit it 👌
very nice restaurant with good food#abdelrahman
very good restaurant delusions food and good service#abdalrahman
One of the best restaurants in Petra. The appetizers are hummus and falafel are very good, the shawarma tastes excellent and the grills taste fabulous. I advise you to visit it and eat there.
A very good restaurant with a lot of sweet foods, the shawarma is very tasty, and there is a shawarma in Petra and it has grills, it tastes very delicious. I would recommend any And there are many good young people and the service is very good, I advise anyone to visit it
Best Mansaf i have had in Jordan! Staff was so nice and we had loads of delicious, local food. Recommend recommend!!
We wandered in at 7am because it was the only shop open nearby at this time. They open from 6am to 11 pm. We were pleasantly surprised when the falafel tasted amazing!! I recommend getting the falafel with foul (bean spread). Much better tasting, quicker, cheaper than the falafel at Mr. Falafel! Only costed us 4.5 dinars for 2 falafels, one tea and one coffee.
Really good local food and friendly people! Thank you!
During off season I walked around and all tourist trap restaurants were empty. This restaurant was more lively with locals that’s why I stopped there. Food was not best in Jordan but it was cheaper then restaurants in that street.
The prices are too overrated, the quality of the food is not good. The cleanliness is disgusting.
Good, local food, nice stuff and the prices are quite fine
Its no exaggeration that this place serves the BEST food in Wadi Musa. Dont even bother looking for another restaurant. The food is 5* and the staff are incredibly kind, helpful & professional plus speak very good English. We had our dinner there on two consecutive days and would definitely come again...!
All around great food! Excellent and cheap falafel and kebab sandwiches for bringing to Petra! Opens early!
Okeyish place. Expect nothing to fancy. Oké prices 10 until 15JD per person
This place is an absolute gem! Everything else in Wadi Musa is a serious rip off. Look no further than Al-Arabi for cheap authentic Jordanian eats. Falafel wrap is a bargain at 1JD and chicken schwarma wrap is just 1.5 JD. Serving sizes are generous too. It cant get any better. Id give it 6 stars if I could.
Very very good food. I tried mixed grill and arabic shawarma. Very good!
Very good resutrant one of the oldest resutrants in Petra city located in the heart of Wadi mousa cityGood services and most type of food specialist with homus and flafel chicken grill and barbeque are the bestNeed a parking and delivery servicesI highly recommend this restaurantPrices are acceptable
Very delicious food and amazing staff! We had Chicken Shawarma dish after a 6hrs of trekking in Petra and it was superb! Thumbs up!
The food there was awful. Everything wasnt enough fresh and the prices were to high for the standards they offer. The service is more engaged in trying to convince tourists from the street to eat there than in servicing the guests that already ordered. You have to wait a lot of time for your order. I dont recommend this place.
The quality of the food was very poor. I was eating arab chicken that was grilled like coal, the pita and everything extra to the chicken was very dry and uneatable. I wanted to get my money back or perhaps get a discount. Although there wearent many people eating there the service didnt try to catch at least an eye contact with me. Because of being very hungry after a all day trip from Petra I had to eat this disgusting meal for a very bad price. I do not recommend this place. Ps. The tourist menu offers much more higher prices.
As our family loves Kebab - this fulfill our palate.Reasonable price - acceptable for being around the tourism spot.Price can be double for ones available inside the Petra areas.
Massive portions, transparent menu, lovely waiters and good prices for Wadi Musa. Certainly the best value restaurant around here.
Nice atomasphere nice staff. Food was just ok. Pita was cold.
Clean small restaurant with fair prices. Free Wi-Fi. Food is decent. Falafel for 1 JOD is tasty. For 7 JOD you get a heap of very tasty Arab Shawarma with fries and all kinds of sauces.
A small cute resturant with good food and friendly staff. The location is in a crowded spot so parking maybe an issue. They have mixed grilled plater, shawarma, Turkish bread, tea and lot more to choose from. Lot of tourists visit this resturant, the cost is a bit hight than i expected but the food tastes really good. If you are in the area then definitely visit this one.
This restaurant stands out for offering good food and decent prices in an area that is dedicated to tourists and generally offers bad food at high prices. While it might not look as pretty as its neighbors, the prices are lower and the food is just as good, if not better. This is evident from the locals dining here.Takeaway also available.Cash only.If this review was helpful, please click Like!
Very good meals, everyone from our party was happy and enjoyed it.
Very delicious meals, cheap for this location, friendly staff :)
Food is good and portion is big too. Value for money. Highly recommended
Good eats, fast food style shawarma. You get what you pay for, sand which is a little small, but only 1.5JD. Guy next door makes up different prices for locals. Wanted to charge 5JD. Probably will come back again for more!
Quick edit:Just recovered after 48+ hrs of food poisoning, damn so not try the traditional "upside-down chicken" dish this will literally turn your insides upside-down. I had a £115 taxi ride to 3 stops to the dead Sea the morning after here and I can tell you the only dead thing my girlfriend saw was my well to live. All the attractions were ruined as I chundered my way though all of them, once I arrived my insides started to turn and I can tell you the amount of wind I had would make wind turbines jelous and gas mining crew cry. Beware this place will take a good 2-3 days off of your holiday.Good restaurant with quite a few choices! Food was a decent portion, perhaps not the baklava though... Friendly staff with quick service, not too expensive either!
Really great food, very fair prices, speedy service. I was lucky enough to have a private tour with my own driver, and this place was his pick for good local food. He knows his stuff.
Food was great, prices were... Well... Typical for a tourist place, but lower than in a place next door. Falafel price was good - I mean in different places you can have it much cheaper, but this is city center of a tourist place. We are unaware if there is 2nd menu with different prices for local people so we cant confirm it. Im giving it 4 out of 5 because of prices.
As maindishes you get rice with chicken, chickenrice or chicken with a special rice. The taste was nice but really not enough to rate a restaurant with 5 stars. You get a soup and yogurt included.
The hubs and I walked Day 1 of 2 in Petra. We were hungry earlier and walked over to this place to try. The menu looks reasonable and we were seated at 5:45pm. The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived. Our server/waiter was patient to explain anything we didnt understand. We decided on the Arabic platter (chicken shawarma, hummus, mtabbal, yogurt, salad and friesat 5:50pm. The order was ready at 5:55pm. The platter was filling enough for both of us. We really enjoyed the variety in the meal.Minus one star though for the fact that they have beer in the menu, but dont have a beer in stock to soothe our aching feet.
Great restaurant! Falafel for 1 jod! Good and cheap! What can you ask more?
اكل شعبي ممتاز ، وسعر مناسب .. ينصح بهI recommend this place if you want to try local food with a reasonable price and good taste
The place is very affordable / cheap, geeat for a dinner with groups or a quick bite. The food is tasty however, mistakes can be in what you have ordered due to the language-barrier... The staff was friendly however, some things seemed chaotic... the place is decent however, receives much noise from the street right in front of it; no closed doors. Toilets are upstairs and not very clean...
I loved the freshly made Falafel and the shawerma on homous. "You have to taste in order to believe."😋
Eat in or take away, the best deal is the shawarma (sandwich/wrapat 1.5 JD to go. It was a little light on the meat. But if you eat in and have the platter, you can easily share it.
