Akira Back in New Delhi

Very near the airport. I was only here for 6 hours to get a shower and take a nap but I was amazed at how nice it was. I wish I could have explored more of the property.

The JW Marriott Aerocity in Delhi is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Its location, close to Aerocity World Mark 1 and within walking distance to many good restaurants, makes it the perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers. The breakfast buffet in the K3 restaurant and the executive lounge provide a wide selection of tasty options to start the day off right. While the hotels car services come with reliable drivers, they are unfortunately quite expensive compared to what is typically seen in the Indian market. Overall, the JW Marriott Aerocity offers an exceptional experience for its guests.I want to give a special shout-out to Pankaj at JW Marriott Aerocitys concierge desk. During my stay at the hotel, I needed to donate some clothes but wasnt sure where to go. Pankaj took it upon himself to reach out to various NGOs in the area and find one who could come pick up my donations. His dedication to providing exceptional service is exemplary and truly representative of the high standard of hospitality provided by JW Marriotts staff.During this stay, there were some issues that warrant a rating of four stars instead of five for this particular stay. We unfortunately encountered several issues that affected our experience. Issues in the room were not fixed timely, requiring multiple requests before they were taken care of. A specific request regarding our room booking also needed to be repeated several times before it was eventually resolved, thanks to Abhinandan, the front desk manager. In addition, the closet in the room had very dim lighting. The staff also kept interrupting our time in the room, periodically asking for feedback, which was a bit annoying, so we ended up keeping the “Do not disturb” light on for extended periods of time.I cannot conclude this review without mentioning the highlight of our stay. We had the pleasure of visiting the Executive Lounge on several occasions - for breakfast and evening snacks - where we found Mohit to be a smiling, welcoming face into the lounge. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful in accommodating our needs. From Sumanas daily ginger and cardamom tea to Gayetris delicious ghee roast dosa, the food offerings were exceptional. Senior chef Ashish was always on hand for any special requests and Chef Ashish Sanoria never failed to impress with his exquisite kulchas and omelettes. Overall, we cannot speak highly enough of our experience in JW Marriott Aerocitys Executive Lounge and highly recommend it to others.

Just another standard Marriott hotel, the staff will treat you accordingly however, I feel their attention levels for their guests vary depending on who they think you are. I see many Marriot in different parts of the world trying to maintain high standards. However, this one does fall below par. There are good elements this hotel however overall there are several things that could be done to make the experience for the guest better.

Never stayed at this hotel, neither would I want to. Food is delicious that’s why the two stars. Staff especially the one in parking is so rude and not anywhere near the standard that a luxurious hotel should be having. Not at all a pleasant experience.

I stayed to many five star hotels, specially Marriott , but this is my best experience so far. There is no doubt to their hospitality. Location is perfect (15 minutes from airport), swimming pool is the best location and one of the most beautiful lobby here.Food and their chefs I m speechless...love it...

This is my second review as of yesterday. I believe there’s a new manager here so that may be the reason that people are having issues. The front desk staff (not the girlsare unfriendly and snotty and practically ignore you if you ask a question. This is the first time I’ve had this issue here, both on checkin and checkout. Two different staff members that just had an unplesant attitude. It’s the little things that set a 5 star apart from a lower level hotel and this stay has been full of little things. Even a staff member at the front desk with stains on the front of his suit. Attitude, cleanliness, adherence to certain standards, even the pool deck was dirty….just some things that make a 5 star a 5 star. Anyway, I have given rave reviews to this hotel in the last 5 years…but I can’t say the same for this stay. The standards here have gone way down and if there is a new manager, he really needs to be replaced.

I had gone there to attend an event and my gosh the lobby is huge. First ofbits kind I have seen. And I loved the way they have done their lobby ceilings. I was like little puzzled as this hotel apparently also has 2 drop off points. Fabulous place should be on ur bucket list.🙂

JW Marriott is a spectacular hotel located in aerocity and Ive been coming to the hotel since 2016 on multiple occasions, the breakfast offerings is solid with spacious rooms, however the property has begun to show its age but has been well maintained and food is still as great as I remember. Looking forward to another stay at JW.

Truely waste of moneyThe service in the restraunt was much below averageWe booked the table in advance yet we were given a table in the end of the restraunt. We were given a table for 4 people when we were 5 members.We requested a change of table but never heard about it from the staff.The order was 1 hour delayed. The food was terrible, rotis half cooked, papad soo damn oily that one can not eat it.The main course was served without spoons, water wasnt served and what all should i count.It was hell of a disappointment.I would never recommend JW Marriot Aerocity at least for food.

This hotel is simply stunning. I cannot hold the staff they did everything in their power to make our stay very enjoyable.The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and there’s so much to do and they clearly are made for relaxing. the bathroom is huge, and the walls of bath can be opened up so you can relax while soaking and watch TV at the same time. The shower is a delight I have never seen a shower so huge I couldn’t stop showering. Fantastic addition to have lots off shampoo and body gel in the bathrooms, instead of those tiny tubes, most hotels have.

Most pathetic reservation experience! I was given a reservation voucher to stay at Marriott hotel in India from my employer Microsoft and after 5 calls and speaking to 6 personnel, I was not given any support. The reception at Marriott Aerocity actually started disconnecting the calls after two attempts and they shifted our call to wrong departments wasting 3 hours. Still no reservation and this is after the voucher came from corporate tie up! Wish it had been with Oberoi - Marriott team is ridiculous red taped and unhelpful in processing requests. Terrible experience.

There is no door catch ( kundiin washroom, if you stay with childrens you hav to be alert while bathing 😄.Rooms are good , staff is polite.Food is fine.

This property is very talented at serving you the worst food you would experience in your lifetime at any property let alone a flagship 5 star property. I had 5 meals and amazingly each one trumped the previous in terms of how bad it was. And if you feel that you want to access your saving grace by simply having a simple toast with coffee, good luck my friend as they dont even know how to make coffee even though they just have to press a single button and the words are qritten right next to them and good luck on getting the butter in time before your toast goes cold. All in all if you like consuming food, avoid the property.

Air conditioning is way too cold, but couldnt be lowered even with staffs help.Food was wonderful.However, no a la carte menu available at K3 during lunch hours.

A modern spacious hotel built exclusively for hosting large scale events. The interiors are designed to exude scale with high ceilings and large windows.The food is decent and the hospitality is good.

It was an absolute place for any event. I went there for Solana Hackathon. We enjoyed a lot. Briefing sessions were conducted. Food was literally the most best part of this event. The lip smacking food.All together best experience.Highly Recommended!!!

I would say its a kind hotel in terms of hospitality, cleanness, ambiance, and location.10 Min Drive from Domestic and International Airport.45 Min drive to India Gate at noon, otherwise, during peak time it may take 1 hour 15 mins30 Mins drive to cyber hub this location is in Gurgaon and nice place to visit

Lunch buffet spread was huge with lots of options beside Indian. Taste and service were outstanding. Only problem is the distance still we like to travel down from Noida because of the food and hospitality

I went for lunch there. We had a great time. We opted for buffet option in their restaurant "K3". They had Chinese, Italian and Indian food options. I recommend going there as all of the food was delicious. Specially, there was clear soup live counter in the Chinese corner. It was lip smackingly good. So were the both vegetarian and non vegetarian dumplings and the chilli bean sauce.

What an amazing property this is! Exceptional comfort, great food and amazing service. Their executive lounge is the best one I have seen so far. The food was perfect and the staff were superb. Hassan, ABhishek, Aman, Karan and other staff at the lounge were super attentive and made my stay so much better. I hope to return soon and recommend this property highly to everyone.

Went for an event of Meta (formerly Facebook). The place is amazing in terms of setup, rooms, event halls, hospitality, location is prime as well like Aerocity.Food z debatable as everyone has different taste but try their Mutton Biryani. It was outstanding. Their fish starters were also good.

Was there yesterday for Medanta Neurosciences Conference.Well maintained luxury property.Food could be better at Banquet. Would like to make the following suggestions :1. Chicken was probably undercooked in Chicken Pepperfry. Meat was a bit tough. Curry was nice , intensity of pepper could be stronger and salt content lower.2. Raw Papaya salad had Vinegar. Completely unwarranted. Its a Thai dish and doesnt need any acidic flavours apart from freshly squeezed lemons. If its not possible in large scale banquet programs , just serve fresh grated raw papaya garnished with fresh vegetables. Its appetizing as it is.3. Please serve 1 portion of every dish you serve in banquet today to Mr Khatter. Hes a very learned and seasoned professional and will definitely elevate the culinary experience at Banquets based on his personal inputs for food served.I am sure you will concur with me that banquets serve as a marketing exercise for larger populace who may not otherwise have visited the hotel especially if one is in the same city and a cost cutting endeavour here can help form a less than perfect experience for the guests. JW Marriott is a world class luxury brand worldwide and Mr Khatters leadership can take it to an even higher level.Best Regards

Was here for a corporate event for a day.Good stay their dinning area K9 I guess is very amazing, food is very delicious here.Everything us available and cooked precisely.

Everything here was exquisite. Very professional staff - efficient, friendly, helpful. Mr. Zubair was incredibly attentive and respectful when we had a problem with our room. He oversaw the solution impeccably. The room was lovely, bed very comfortable, bathtub and shower perfect. We spent quite a bit of time by the pool, also great. Last but not least, the food was absolutely delicious and the buffets had great variety, everything wonderful.

Rooms were moldy and i had to double my dosage of allergy medication in order to survive the 2 nights of sleep, no minibar set up, extremely slow service at the lobby bar, literally had to beg the server to give us drinks. The concierge took 20 minutes to search for our bags after which were invited to their back area to see the bag and to my surprise there were only 5 bags lying there and the person couldnt decide which one. This is not a 5 star service at all

JW Marriott Aerocity kept up with the high standards of hospitality experience during our recent stay. The entire experience was outstanding and special thanks to Sudhakar (Banquet teamwho went beyond the call of duty to ensure our event went smoothly. And I have to mention the resident chef de cuisine, Rampratap Singh whose culinary creations made the stay even more amazing and enjoyable. Great job JWM Aerocity team and highly recommend them.

The feeling of getting pampered is unreal here. I have stayed here numerous times and every experience has been pure bliss. The hospitable staff, the housekeeping team and the entire team makes you feel special

The best thing about this hotel is Chef Rittwik. He is OUTSTANDING! He went above and beyond for our food diet and did it all with a smile. Marriott is lucky to have such a caring and genuine Chef in their hotel. He is hardworking, friendly, and amazing at what he does. My family left the executive lounge feeling way more than just satisfied. Thank you again Chef Rittwik!

Stayed here twice for a total of three nights. Rooms are large, well appointed with oversized bathroom. Just a few minutes from Delhis airport. The buffet dining room is the real treat, however. Buffets are not my preference but the quality and variety are extraordinary. Dont miss it.

Great rooms, lovely food, and good service. The only negative was the noise at night. Loud music from an event playing until around 1am.

Have been trying to reach out to the Banquet manager for few days to make a reservation but no one is taking the call. Have messaged Amit Jain but he doesnt even reply to messages. Cannot believe the incompetency at such prestigious hotel. Very disappointed!

Beware !!!!!!!!!!’ JW Marriott seems to have really deteriorated in terms of service . Recently while entertaining, we had to remind the server about (1taking our a la carte order - yes no one bothered to come to serve us for a long time (2what dishes we had ordered, as our server seemed lost or distracted (3to serve all dishes together - first we waited for half the dishes as they forgot that we wanted everything together and then we waited for the rotis as that too took time (4request for roti to be be smeared with ghee - they forgot to put ghee despite 2 reminders and (5which wine we wanted . We ordered few items - black dal, malai tikka, veg platter and rotis. Food was ok but the service was TERRIBLE and we did mention that. We were in for a rude SHOCK. We were told to pay INR 20k for 2 glasses of wine , 2 glasses of wine (we had chosen a wine for INR 1800 but they poured another more expensive one instead - WITHOUT our consent). We paid . I did call the next day to lodge a complaint with the GM - Mr Khattar but couldn’t speak with him. A lady who answers their landline phone - Ms Poonam just wouldn’t put me through - with the GM. Simply heard me out and remained quiet - as in no response!!!! A new low for customer service. Beware !!!!!!! The attitude of the staff is terrible. JW Marriott is a prestigious chain overseas. I will definitely AVOID this place especially if I’m entertaining. If I’m going alone with family I will ensure I read the BILL and check PRICES of all offered / SUGGESTED items . I will never ever forget how they CHEATED us into paying INR 20,000 for 2 glasses of wine , 2 glasses - WITHOUT our consent !!

Identification of buffet dishes should be more prominent. I am a pure vegetarian and I had to almost taken chicken+ salad which looked like cottage cheese+ salad kept next. In case members of Marriott read this, I have a suggestion...pls put green/ red dots appropriately so that identification is easy. Service and food was otherwise good

One of the finest and chick hotel in the city .Do u want to stay in the finest hotel near airport , go there. Big variety of food at K3 will amaze you and staff is too attentive. Snack in the evening with some drinks at outdoor cabana is simply awesome.

My experience was not great. I came to attend one exhibition. Food was not great. It seems like same food were served for lunch and dinner. Same type of non veg dishes. Second day someone intentionally took out air from my cars tyre.

Excellent Property. Neat & Clean very spacious Executive Club Room. Very lavishly spread breakfast and dinner. Amazing Food. Very comfortable stay with all the luxuries in place.

Felt like some staff really worked like staff who worked at a 5 star hotel, and there were a few who worked like they did not.We waited 10+ minutes for a check to come after dinner one night, and another night received a check with wrong amount. This was at K3 restaurant.I also needed to change the room after checking in because of cigarette smell. When I call the reception, the first answer they gave me was that it is a non-smoking room so there shouldn’t be cigarette smell. Waited around 15 minutes, a staff started walking towards me through the hallway, so I asked if he was here for me. He said no, and asked if I called the reception. I said I did, and he said then wait and just walked away.Second room also smelled like cigarettes, but less. I checked in around midnight, so I just stayed. The next morning I went to reception again and told them the issue, and the staff was very unapologetic and said they’ll refreshen up the room while I’m away. When I came back it was basically the same.Overall it was an enjoyable stay but with this price and being a JW Marriott I had a much higher expectation.

Stayed here in July22 to celebrate my anniversary and very pleased to say that everything here exceeds your expectations.Top notch staff and exquisite service experience. Everyone greets you with a smile and makes you feel so warm and special. Not to mention their K3 restaurant offers the best buffett spreads in the entire country in my personal opinion. No other 5 start matxhes the food they serve here.A special mention for Ms. Yagyata Khurana from Club Marriott at Marriott Aerocity, who works with the membership unit for the hotel. She made sure each and every minir request we had was fulfilled, which made my wife and kids feel super elated the moment we entered our room. She is extremely professional in her conduct and I would highly recommend you contact her for all your membership requirements.

I’m a titanium elite member with over 600 nights. This has got to be worst experience I’ve had at a Marriott property. I’ve faced the utmost humiliation staying here—starting with the general manager’s disregard, someone walking into the room as I took a shower, 45 minutes on the phone spent to get on contact with someone because the hot water wasn’t working, and in general the lack of apathy. I confronted the manager (although I must admit I was angry), but his complete disregard towards the situation was ridiculous. My personal space was evaded, so I feel I was just in my anger, but the management doesn’t care. Don’t go for the brand name. This place is a terribly run place.

Really a very superb place to stay. A complete family place.. With all basic amenities available in rooms. Quality of food is also good and tasty.. Staff too is very polite. Rooms are good too.

A truly 5 star experience! One of the best JW hotels. The quality of hospitality has remained consistent over the last several years. From the moment you enter the sprawling lobby to spacious rooms, elegant bathrooms it is an experience to cherish. Staff is polite, courteous and will greet you with lots of Namstes! It is one of the best property on the Aerocity with convenience of short hop to the airport. The lounge, pastry shop and Japanese restaurant are all worth trying for different tastes. During my stay they forgot to give a complimentary wine but next day front desk staff Ms Shagun and lounge manager Mr Shivraj went above and beyond to take care of me!! The lobby can be noisy if there is a wedding reception etc but sit back and enjoy the Indian culture while you are there. Will definitely return back again.

Huge hotel, but drop off area is not very spacious, lobby is good but loud music forced us to move to outdoor seating space which wasnt bad for evening. Pedestal fans were of no use as they were very noisy..good overall experience.

It is a very great Luxury hotel. The service is very good and on time. Very sweet and humble staff. Food quality and Hygiene is A1. Over all service is great and satisfying. Highly suggest visit at least once! ☺️❤️

I was sure I got the presidential room until I looked at the room next to me and realized that its just the standard in this hotel, just kidding, the hotel is really of a high standard ... very high. The rooms are amazing, the food is great and the gym ... wow! A great way to disconnect and clear your head a minute before boarding the plane. And another little tip, between the hotels is a nice promenade of pubs and cafes not to be missed.

One of the finest properties in Aerocity, New Delhi. Proximity to the airport gives them an edge. But else also a lot of events are now moving from city to this place. Ballroom is fantastic with a clear ceiling, apt for corporate events and product launches. The service standards of Marriott are excellent. Food was fabulous.

I have been to many five star hotels, but this is my best experience so far. There is no doubt to their hospitality. I would like to thank to the management who has trained their staff. Very Well mannered ,Very helpful And What else I could tell you about my Experience.Food and their chefs I m speechless.Best is to experience.

Good food and rooms. Service needs to be improved though. No cold water was available in this scorching heat but only bottles at room temperature. Air conditioning would go off every few hours in the room. To top it all when the feedback was shared at check out, there was no acknowledgement from the staff at all. Travel date 14 May 2022

This was my second stay and a third coming up soon. Im very happy with the hotel so far, especially housekeeping.They kept a laptop cleaning kit, folded away clothes nicely and put a decor of flowers.Breakfast was superb with the menu (but not that delicious, in room dining was better than expected but takes 40 minutes +There is a nice lounge space below where guests can sit and order drinks. Ideal place to have guests over and chat with them.

World traveler and I’ve been to many JW’s over the years, but this one is really special. Polite is an understatement and they will do everything possible to make sure your stay is memorial. Depending on when you go, you may get to see a wedding going on; lots of festivities.The staff are all so polite and outgoing. The food is fresh and delicious, and the Decor is lovely. If you’ve ever stayed in a JW property, you already what to expect from the rooms, and they do not disappoint.Great hotel.
