I called to book a table for a group of 5, but the women who answered asked me if we were a mixed group!? I told her that I have guests and We wanted to have dinner and she said only mixed groups or couple are allowed! This is so absurd! If we were a group of gentlemen were not allowed in this restaurant?? And she hang up the phone !

Beautiful place with very nice decor and design with an outdoor area. However the food is not good. Tried the brunch and it was filling but not yummy at all.

Ordered the veggie roll on Talabat. Clean and near packaging, simple garnishes and visually appealing.Taste was solid, not overly exciting but the roll was creative and well crafted. I would likely order from them again and try other dishes.

Me and my wife had visited here for their valentines offer. We really enjoyed the whole experience. Food, vibes, music, service, quality were all excellent. I particularly enjoyed the juicy steak.

The lamb chops are amazing, the sushi is wow. The mojitos where below average

Very professional staff especially the manager Naveen. big thanks to him as he managed to save the night yesterday. we had a problem with Talabat which they didnt do anything about it but Naveen came him self and delivered the food. everything was amazing , i highly recommend to all.

Best flavored lamb chops Ive had in a while. Great ambiance, daily specials. Went for birthday/date dinner. We both were amazed.

Dined at Akaya a few days ago.First the positives: nice place and the food was very good. Tried the Crispy Chicken Bao, Braised Beef Short Ribs and Maple Soy Glazed Salmon and all were done well. Minor issue with the salmon was a little heavy handed with the salt.Negatives: the music was extremely loud so conversation was impossible and you had to shout to place an order. Red LED lights indoors meant having to use a light to actually see your lovely food. Ordered a specific drink but as they didnt have it, the bartender gave another brand without informing the waiter (or meand thought I wouldnt know the difference!

Sensational place! Wonderful service. The sushi is outstanding. Highly recommend the ruby red cocktail. Such a wide variety of drinks/cocktails.Perfect for date night or even a night out. The music was super vibey and the overall atmosphere was great. Can see this place becoming my new hangout!

Classy joint with a talented resident DJ Sam. I have not tried the food but as a lounge it is always fun. My only qualm is when it gets busy the bar service is lacking. Great outdoor venue for when the weather is good.

Was perfect. Indoor and outdoor. However, I think it was amazing because of the birthday event as birthday boy got 4 DJs so yes perfect but am not sure if it was the place or the event

So the food here is really good, but the service not so great. I’ve been here twice and had not so great endings both times.The first time, we were asked to leave because there was another reservation.. we were a group of 10, ordering food and drinks. How can you ask paying customers to leave?The second time everything was going great till we left and came back because we forgot our to go bag.. the short bouncer started a fight with my husband and friends, and wouldn’t let them in. He caused such a scene and treated them horribly as if they were begging for money or something. Work on your people skills because you guys really need it. Ruined a perfectly lovely evening.

A great restaurant with a great vibe. The decor is on point, and we couldnt fault anything we had on the menu on our last visit. The cocktail selection and quality are also outstanding.

If you need a place to chill after a bizarre day at work, Akaya is just the right place to stop by.Their menu will leave you drooling for just more ,while their decor will set your vibes right!!

A great dining experience, highly recommended. This really is a breath of fresh air for the Bahrain restaurant scene. Some really unique dishes and cocktails! The wasabi hummus is a must :)
