Airrow Boat Tours in Sanford

While in Florida, visiting family, we decided to contact Sean from Airrow Boat Tours. Sean was able to provide us with a memorable experience for all of that will last a lifetime. We had a wonderful time and he was so informative during the tour. We will certainly reach to him again if we visit Florida. Highly recommend.

Captain Shawn knows the area by the back of his hand. He took us to see the gators, birds and other wildlife. The airboat was a blast. Highly recommend if looking for a tour like this.

My husband and I recently visited Florida, and we decided to take an air boat ride. We have been on a few over the years but, I have to say this was the best one we have ever been on . It was just the 2 of us and of course the driver. We visited places we had never been. Saw and heard a bald eagles nest. Learned some history of the area. I just cant say enough it was a beautiful way to spend an afternoon.

Great trip! Captain Shawn was great. He was very knowledgeable about the area and he was adamant on finding a gator for us to see. He really went above and beyond. Lake Monroe is beautiful . I will definitely take this tour again!

We had a great time I took my son and grandson for the airboat ride. Its a smaller a boat it only takes 6 people including the guide. The big air boats dont get to go into the small areas or have as thrilling a ride. My grandson absolutely loved it what a fantastic hour.

Sean was an incredible host and has tremendous knowledge of the area. We saw a lot of wildlife and learned a lot about the area. I would recommend this company to anyone interested in an airboat tour of Lake Monroe! We will go out with Sean again the next time we are in the area.

This was actually my 3rd time taking this exact boat tour. Its incredible! The captain is very knowledgeable and makes it so fun!! I highly recommend this!! You see tons of gators, so many different birds and the best were the cows! In the water! So cool!

A way nicer different look to Lake Monroe. Passing the highway and living around sanford I never noticed how beautiful and full of life the lake is but thanks to Shawn we had an amazing experience. Wife was a bit nerveous but that died down quick and we both enjoyed the whole experience saw lots of gators and lots of areas that showed how huge and magnificent this lake is. Nice guy and a very easy going, definately recommend!

Captain Shawn is very kind and an amazing guy. We were a family of 4 and we absolutely loved it! We got to see a variety of different plants and animals and learned a lot of new things during the tour! I definitely recommend anyone to go on this tour, its definitely worth it! We had a lot of fun and we will definitely ride it again!

Shawn was awesome! This was our first airboat ride and he was determined to make sure we saw a gator even though it was a bad time of the year for sightings. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. Shawn was also really nice and friendly. It wasnt like a commercial boat tour, he made it feel like your buddy was taking you out for a boat ride. I would highly recommend him. Shawn was awesome and just so nice! The tour of Lake Monroe was beautiful. We go to see a variety of birds, cows, plants and flowers and some alligators. My family from out of state absolutely loved it. We even had a toddler with us and Shawn was always checking in to make sure she was okay. She did very well, even fell asleep for the last bit of the ride!! Definitely worth it, the price and the length of the ride is unbeatable in central Florida. Would highly recommend him and would definitely go on another tour again.

My family and I had such a wonderful time on Captain Shawns Airboat Ride this morning! The weather was lovely. My favorite thing was all the birds from Great Grey Herons to "Swamp Chickens" (forgot their name). We must have seen 100 birds. We saw some smaller alligators and a group of Manatees. Sanford is such a lovely area and I was so impressed by the natural beauty. Captain Shawn felt like a friend and made us feel so comfortable. We plan on bringing more family on another adventure soon. BTW-He is also priced much lower than other airboat tours in this area and I can guarantee you-Airrow Airboats wont disappoint!

This was by far the best alligator tour I’ve been on. We have done the Everglades and this tour was a 100 times better!!! GO!! Definitely one of the highlights of our girls trip. We did this tour yesterday morning before we caught our flight home and even though it was a cloudy day, Shawn still managed to find lots of gators for us to see. He’s very knowledgeable, not just about gators but all the wildlife in the area. You can tell he loves his work and is passionate about educating his customers. Shawn was a great Captain. He took his time showing us the area and made sure we saw a lot of wildlife (gators). He was in no hurry to end our tour. We highly recommend his tour.

We had an amazing time on this trip!! Shawn is very knowledgeable and really enjoys what he does! We loved how excited he gets to see his customers having a great time. He goes above and beyond to make sure you see all there is to see out on the river. We have some incredible pictures and really great memories to cherish from that ride. If staying near Sanford, this adventure is a must!

Perfect experience with lots of information. We went for an hour trip with our kids 2 and 4 and Captain Shawn made it a perfect ride. He was making sure everyone felt good and could enjoy the trip. Ultimately both kids fell asleep just before we got back to the harbor. Lol

Not many services on The World Wide Web get 5 stars but Shawn does. Fantastic service.... so informative. One man band... paid for 30 mins was out for 50 ....the guy is brilliant and a genuinely nice guy. I won’t name other well known Airboat services... but he’s cheaper and far superior. We took a tour with Shawn April 2018 and it was amazing. Today is 6-2-19 and we took another tour with Shawn while on vacation again here in Florida.Shawn is an amazing guy and very knowledgeable.He takes time to show you the wildlife while never compromising safety.I can not recommend Shawn enough to people who I know talk about coming to Florida for vacation..Every trip he also gives you arrowheads...We kept our from last year and we will add today’s arrowheads to the collection.THANK YOU SHAWN 🤘🏼

Called and made an appointment for 10 am and shawn was spot on from explaining everything that we might see to the trip itself slowing down letting us take pictures finding little alligators right up to 7 footers. What a great time my family had. I will definitely go again in the future.Thank you

We must have seen 50 alligators , not to mention all the other wildlife, on the Lake Monroe Conservation Preserve during our one hour tour with Shawn.He does a great job. This is a very family friendly outing.

We originally set an appointment for 2:30 however we got in an accident prior to the appointment and it caused us to be late, we called and Captian Shawn was very understanding and still gave us a great ride we saw a 7ft mama gator and about a 8 foot male hop into the water as we were passing by. We had such a great time with Capt. Shawn, who is is very knowledgeable about the local wildlife and environment. He took us on a beautiful tour and the airboat was very smooth. We saw alligators big (over 10feetand small, and numerous types of birds, and Capt. Shawn made sure that we saw our fill of wildlife before heading back.

Captain Shawn did a great job taking us into the swap in search of flora and fauna and gators!Travelling at an average of 28mph (sometimes much more), the airboat covered great distances in no time.Despite it being early August with warm, deep water, we managed to see one big gator and several small ones.Highly recommended A*****

Great adventure. Shawn was pleasant and safe during the ride. Saw alligators from babies to very large ones. Lots of other wild life too. You cant go wrong with this tour. Hope to do a night ride in the future.

This is our second airboat ride in Florida. Shawn, our guide, was a lot of fun and knew exactly where the wildlife was. He was very knowledgeable and we had a great time! If you want a great experience, no need to look any further, this is the place! Very reasonably priced.

Captain Shawn was right on time. Exciting ride, but always felt safe. Shawn was very knowledgeable of local wildlife. Made sure we picked a time and day that wasnt too cold. Even took time to explain his engine to us after the ride. Definitely would recommend.

This was one of the most incredible experiences Ive had with my family. We came for Disney World and after three days of the six year old fighting with the twelve year old on things to do and see we finally found something they both liked doing! Our Captian was awesome! We were running late due to traffic and he was very understanding when we were nearly 30 minutes late getting there. The price was one of the best rates we found for an hour long tour and not only were the rates great he kept us out on the water an extra 15 minutes.The wildlife was amazing. So many species of birds I cant count. Super enormous turtles. And of course lots of alligators. The babies were so cute and our captain was so knowledge as he had grown up on thus lake. I cant say enough great things about our time spent on the air boat. Would definitely return when in Florida next. Amazing experience that I would highly recommend!!!
