Airport X Managua Hotel in Managua

Room was clean with A/C, thats why I gave it 2 stars. That said, internet was not working in the room, TV had no working channels either. When I inquired about internet connection, answer was "bad signal because of the rain". It was not raining, and just at the doorstep of my room internet was working perfectly well. I could have used the lobby where connection was super fast, except that it was too hot, and I was devoured by mosquitoes in the evening and flies the next morning. For the money theyre charging and its value in the country, it can be much better.

Very nice for the price, definitely worth a stay to determine if it’s for you. For me it was perfect. Ac, tv, cantina for food and drinks, clean running water. If you require more there are other locations available nearby for more than double the price.

The room was clean and comfy but it wasnt pleasant experience with their service. Free breakfast was horrible.

This was a good place for us to stay. The other hotels in the area were closed or full but this place had rooms. Great price for what you get. The staff was super helpful and the ac was really nice! Food took a very long time to get but understandable because the make everything when you order and they dont have a lot of staff. Overall our experience was just fine.

Worst customer service when it comes to ordering ur breakfast. Try not ordering ur breakfast from a short lady with curly hair. Other than that the stay was pretty good

We stayed here one night, as we had been in SJDS and our flight was early the next morning. The hotel was clean and tidy, and had A/C. It is within a gated area so it feels safe. Theres a 24hr "cafe" in the hotel with a surprisingly large menu (not huge, just more than I was expecting, especially for something called a cafe). The servings were generous and the food was good. All the staff are very friendly and patient with people whose Spanish isnt so great. They also have cheap taxis to the airport which is very convenient.

Pros: good price, rooms have independent entrances (no need to have the awkward interactions with people every time you come in), theres transportation at reasonable prices, the workers are polite and helpful, its not far from the airport, free breakfast, independent AC, fritangas just down the street.Cons: there were no towels (!Not sure if I was supposed to ask, there was no hot water in the evening but it came back in the morning (my guess is that they turn it off in the afternoon because Managuas water is naturally warm), theres no way to get out of the hotel unless you ask the desk to call a taxi or youre willing to walk a mile in the Managua heat.

Clean, neat, great shuttle service from the airport. Make sure you save some pancakes from breakfast, the monkeys love them

The hotel is located near the airport and bus station. It offers 24 hour reception. Rates are good, rooms are clean, staff is helpful. There is a small restaurant in the hotel but there are no other choices for near by for restaurants or shopping.

Hotel is very convenient if you need to catch a flight. For a small fee, they provide transportation. They also provided transportation to the market and local restaurant. Staff are polite. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Nice outdoor sitting areas outside room. Even two monkeys to entertain you. Full breakfast provided. Good value.

It’s an excellent hotel with a twenty-four hour bar/restaurant. What really comes in handy though, is that they pick guests up from the airport at all hours. They will be waiting with signs and shirts bearing the hotel’s name and logo, impossible to miss, even in the middle of the night, making flying into Managua easy and straight forward.

Ladies up front are super nice... also .. one of the guy that work there his exeptional his also from.Jinotega very hard workers left everything behind to go to Managua and go to school.there this guy has such an amazing story .. he works morning for now .. Too bad I did not had cash with me.and had to catch my flight quick .. otherwise I would have give him.some cash .. If you have time to chat with a local this guy is your guy.

Firstly the price was rightThe service was great thanks to Jelata who made my stay very comfortable and her customer service is the best I have seen in the hospitality field so far in Managua. The building surrounding were clean, rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was good and dont forget very cold beersThe hotel is very near the airport and with the taxi service to the hotel was encouraging,I am looking forward to be there in 2020 and will recommended the hotels to my friends.One comment for improvement there should be a direct line to a taxi service for when you want to go out, I walk out to the main street each morning to get a taxi, I did mind it but if it rains you are stuck.

Positives:- Friendly staff (had a pleasant conversation with one of them)- Decent menu that doesnt break the bank- Free breakfast (basic eggs, pinto gallo, pancakes, ect.)- CleanNegatives:- Can be a little tricky to find, especially if you arent aware that there are zero addresses in Nicaragua- Mosquitoes will eat you alive at night without pants or bug spray since the restaurant is open air.Overall my experience was great, the price point was in my wheelhouse and I slept like a baby. Exactly what a hotel should do.

Clean very well located place for a night or two when you are finishing or begging your trip in Nicaragua. Better internet recepción at the lobby area not so for rooms located away from it

Best place to stay if you’re coming in and out of the airport. Wonderful staff and rooms, even if it’s a bit hard to find.

The lady on her phone and ignoring you that works the front desk is the exact opposite of what you would ever want or expect at your hotel front desk. She is very inconvenienced by your presence and will scoff and roll your eyes when you politely ask new batteries for your air conditioning controller. Ive been coming here for 2 years continuously and watched the rates escalate for the same exact room from $25 a night to now $50. I enjoy the cleanliness of the hotel and the proximity to the airport. Ive recommended this place to many of my friends and guests and next to never write undesirable reviews, but the lady needs an attitude adjustment as well as the new 100% increase on pricing.I know the owner or a representative will have a more or less sour response about my experiences. But this isnt up for debate. Its an honest review and its for my fellow hotel guests to know what theyre getting into before they book. Sincerely, Josh Hutchison

The location to the airport was close. It has a twenty-four hour restaurant which could stand to have a few local dishes. The showers were hot and the AC cold. The rooms were clean. The gift shop was also open 24 hours. All in all, a welcome rest stop before heading out on a 4 hour flight.

I stayed here one night prior to an early morning departure from the airport. The hotel is way back in a residential neighborhood so youre not going exploring once you arrive. They have a bar and snacks as well as a gift shop. The rooms are sparse but clean and comfortable. No hot water the night I was there but the cold wasnt too cold so I survived. I think it was $40US for a triple room and $3US for the ride to the airport in the morning. Air conditioning was great. I didnt use the free breakfast but my traveling companions said it was OK.

Great affordable option compared to the Best Western. In a gated community that has a small restaurant and a few small stores.Rooms was modern and very clean. The beds were very comfy and the shower was great.Breakfast had good selection of basic options.Wifi is greatThey are currently adding more and bigger rooms.

This is a budget friendly, clean and overall very nice looking place to stay at, it is conveniently located very close to the airport which makes it hassle free for late night travelers, it is a safe zone, and on top of that, theres a very economic shuttle that picks you up at the airport for a very reasonable price.The only thing that could be improved is your customer service, I would expect at least a "Good afternoon" or "Good evening" from the staff, Im not saying they were rude to me, but they could at least look at you while theyre assisting you, not only that but it almost feels like youre begging for assistance sometimes, for instance, I asked the lady at the front desk to print my boarding pass for my upcoming returning flight, I asked her what e-mail I should send it to, I had started the conversation in Spanish, being Hispanic, its only normal to speak Spanish to other native speakers, the old lady with glasses that was next to her who also works at the front desk responded to me in English in a very sarcastic way, to tell you the truth, I think it is very rude to speak to someone in a different language when they clearly speak the same language as you and youre not sure if that person speaks the other language in question, well, I continued the conversation in English, when I e-mailed her my boarding pass, she said: "Okay, Ill call you when its printed".I waited at the restaurant while eating for about half an hour, then I went back to the desk and asked her if she had printed the boarding pass, to which she responded: "Oh, I havent checked", I was under the impression she was having technical issues and was even willing to help, but she just forgot... I mean, I would be understanding if she was loaded with work, but she didnt seem to be that busy, anyway, I went back to the table and waited for another 10 minutes and still, she hadnt even opened up the e-mail... Seriously Paul, Im not asking for much here, just a tidbit of responsiveness.Your restaurant staff is very polite and willing to help, especially a very young kid that works at night whose name I cant remember but his hair is braided, that is the only reference I have.The other gentleman that works at the front desk at night is very polite as well, again, cant tell what his name was either.The meals are good in general, especially your Pasta, but there should be more options at breakfast time, Gallo Pinto, cereal, pancakes and scrambled eggs were the only options, I would have liked fruits but thats no big deal.I noticed how your front desk staff was unnecessarily scolding and exposing the restaurant staff, who happen to be the ones that were nicer to me, I believe there are more correct ways to discipline your employees, not talking to them like theyre 5 years old. Yes, it was the same old lady with the glasses from before.Very nice and clean place, the rooms are nice and cozy, some of the staff is not very polite.Regards,Julio.

We stayed 10 minutes. The girl at the front desk did not even looked at us when we were waiting to register. She had the attitude of someone who hate foreigners. The room was super clean and ok but with no window it feels like a clean- prison . My husband felt claustrophobique about it and we decided to leave at the moment. We had to fight with the same girl to get our money back because she said that we had been inside the room...Also, my husband who speaks spanish heard employees talking bad about gringos... Very bad experience

A nice simple hotel for travelers going to and from Managua. The breakfast is excellent and the coffee amazing. Clean rooms and good AC. Its not a 4 star hotel but, all the more better for a great cultural experience.

Nice rooms and area. 3 minutes from the airport. They will provide 24 hr shuttle for a small fee. Breakfast included. Hard to find without GPS if you are driving.

Should be cheaper when compared to similar places in Nica but nothing to complain about the service though (maybe except the nosy cleaners). Offered a good rest after the flight to kill the jet lag in a cosy room (they even have an usb socketswhich pretty much was the point there.

Only been for one night before my departure flight. Beds and pillows are very comfortable, free breakfast and free Wi-Fi, but couldnt get the signal from my room. Nice place to stay but nothing really interesting to do in Managua.

The room is very clean, and beds are comfortable. This is a good deal for the price. Very close to the airport. The negative is that the surrounding area is in poor repair and the hotel is of the beaten track far from amenities.

Nice, clean and modern rooms with AC and hot showers. Open 24h, breakfast starts at 4AM, airport dropoff in 5 minutes for 3$. Cant expect better for the price. Highly recommended if you pass through Managua airport and need to sleep nearby.

Not very friendly, overpriced, newer, construction noisy and blowing sand. Open restaurant so mosquitoes have you. Beer is more than twice a block away. Ive traveled a lot and never been charged in advance for lodging. Strange paperwork process for meals makes employee and customer uneasy. Nice decor but not warm shower and fixtures all loosely attached.

Friendly staff, nice clean room, comfy bed, and great location a short taxi ride away from the airport for late night arrivals or early departures.

This is a great little hotel. Its a little difficult to find with out help. It is just a clean simple place to stay close to the airport at half the price of the other hotels nearby. They start breakfast at 6am for people with early flights. Last time we stayed we booked online through a 3rd party site and the concierge gave us a sale price when we got there. Great service!

Close to the airport and better rooms than the Best Western across the street from the airport. I stayed overnight while making a border run. Friendly staff. Downside: its in a neighborhood with nothing else to see around.

Airport X is a nice, moderately priced hotel close to the airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable which include a/c and warm shower. The beds are so soft! They have a restaurant that is open 24 hours which is so convenient for any late night flights. They have plenty of food options as well. Your stay includes breakfast--eggs (scrambled or boiledrice and beans, pancakes, cereals, ham, juices and coffee. The wait staff is courteous and helpful. They offer free wifi but it didnt work well in our room. We had no trouble in the restaurant/lobby area. Bottom line--it is clean, affordable, convenient place to stay

Uncomfortable because we needed to get on WiFi to keep up with things but the wifi in our room was broken so we had to hang out in the open, hot and fly-infested lobby.Rooms are small but clean. Bed was uncomfortable.

It was sufficient for its purpose - a place to sleep before an early AM flight. The rooms were clean. I disliked the paper thin walls and sporadic-to-useless wi-fi (even though I was directly across from the reception area). Bed - not comfortable. I felt like I was camping with a roof over my head. This is more like a hostel, not a hotel. There are "snacks" for purchase but its junk food - chips, candy bars, and such. There is a small cafe type place where you can order food, and while the ladies are nice, the food isnt good. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich which was basically Wonder Bread and a slice of melted "cheese". I suppose some travelers dont care, and this "hotel" would appeal to that crowd. There arent many alternatives in the area, except those that cost twice as much, and I didnt stay there so I cant compare this to the others. When I come back to Nicaragua, I will avoid this place!

The rooms are spotless. The food is delicious. The staff is super helpful and friendly.When I made the reservation I thought I was making a huge mistake due to the LOW price. Everyone was reassuring me it is the perfect place when you need sleep. CLEAN, SAFE ANS SECURE!!

This hotel is a great value especially considering the price of the rooms. This hotel is very modern and has all the amenities that one misses while staying in hostels for 2 months. That being said, the customer service and staff as a whole have a snail up their garden. The hotel is very clean and has 24 hour service including a small restaurant serving EDIBLE food at anytime. Other then the poor response and attitudes of the staff I would highly recommend this place especially when using the Managua Airport.

The rooms are small and simple but very clean! Staff was very very helpful. Hotel is beautiful and very enjoyable if you are looking to get away from your standard chain hotels. Dont be afraid when your taxi turns down a tiny dirt road towards nowhere because you are heading to a hidden gem .

I really like the rooms. They are spacious and comfortable. TV, internet, air-conditioning, breakfast, nice lobby, close to the airport. The staff speak English and are very helpful, I definitely recommend this hotel. If you are arriving at the airport, arrange to have them pick you up or take a taxi, because I think it would be difficult to find if you dont know where it is.

Perfect. We arrived late on a spirit flight and were stressed about finding a place. We booked online, they picked us up from the airport, and the place is spotless...they helped us with currency exchange and spoke English. It made the usual most stressful day of international travel easy and pleasant.
