Aioli in Port-of-Spain

it was disappointing. ordered the pork polpette. huge bowl.of cavatelli pasta with five tiny, tasteless pork meatballs. yes those tiny dots on the pasta are supposed to be meatballs. not the best meal there

High quality food for a high price... if you can fork out $90.00 a lb for high quality food then be my guest

Good food but a bit too expensive to be a go to meal. Grab and go meals range from $60-75

Had a very pleasant experience dining in the restaurant upstairs with our 3 year old. The pizza came quickly and was delicious and well worth every penny. Our son wanted something specific and the waiter wasted no time running downstairs to find it and bring it up for him.

I love how they’ve set themselves apart.Definitely a MUST visit.. ❤️

As usual premium fare. Well presented and wonderfully clean surfaces. No bad odours ever.Staff are quick, fluent in responses and extremely helpful. The service is simply superb. I hope management appreciates them and shows it.Great selection of fare: fresh, hot, cold, frozen, entrée, side, desert, salad , you name it.They observe all covid precautions, while streamlining their customer throughput. Service is really fast !.Obviously for this level of offering, the price point is high yes, BUT it is not premium pricing for premium fare. You get premium fare for a lower price.They also have some every day type pre packaged meals at a lower price point.Treat/reward yourself or people you care about every once in a while. Alternatively if you are entertaining this makes it a no brained!

Bought corn dogs, chicken nuggets and pork crackling to share between a few people. Each of the items failed to impress.

I booked a reservation for my fiancées birthday on May 17th, 2022 for 7:00pm. After booking the reservation, I called the restaurant on three separate occasions to confirm my booking. My fiancée and I arrived at the restaurant at 7:23pm and we were told that our table was given to someone else, because of the time.I have worked in the hospitality industry for several years and Trinidad and Tobago hospitality industry is the worst. The restaurant could have called to confirm my reservation, before just giving away our table. Customer service would have said "let me just give a quick call to the customer to see if they are on their way." However, customer service does not exist in this country.Unfortunately, this is the second time that I had such an experience at Aioli. A few years ago, I made a reservation and it was confirmed. On the day of the reservation, I called to confirm and I was told by the restaurant that they were closed for that day, as they had a private function.To make matters worst, the staff at the restaurant wasnt at all apologetic and didnt even care.Poor, poor poor.....I expected better from an "upscale" restaurant. Maybe staff training is required.

Clean, tastefully decorated restaurant. High end rich ingredients used for dishes. Definitely reccomend.

Expensive and the standard has gone down way before the onset of high food prices. Ingredients were cut in alot of their food like the noodle bowls, deserts are smaller but costs more. Customer service is 5 stars though, cashiers and servers are a joy to deal with.

Some of the best Italian food Ive ever eaten in my life. I love the chicken parmesan, the sauce is perfect and the chicken is amazing. I also like their sushi tempura its huge. The pizza is also delectable.

The food is freshly made throughout the day and they have a good selection of both hot and cold. The staff are always so polite and cheerful.

Aioli never disappoints. Had the Kale tabbouleh with Asian Pork ribs. Perfection! My daughter had the vodka infused penne with crusted salmon.

Lovely place. Lots of choices. Food taste really good. A go to place to find things you wont normally find. Expensive though.

The food is always delicious, service is exceptional. The market place always has some tasty bites be sure to try out the pizzas and fried chicken sandwich. The truffle pasta salad is the half eaten pasta as pictured it is really yummy but the price has raised lately. The mushroom pizza is always nice and there are frozen versions you can buy to reheat at home.

It took me 5 visits to rate Aioli just because I didnt want to say anything either positive or negative before I tasted the various dishes served here.Outstanding!!

I wanted healthy food and I heard they were supposed to be a place that serves tasty, healthy food. I am not sure if when they first started they were great, but I had my first experience there and wont be going back.To begin, customer service was bad. I initially wanted to order my own food, but the girl at the counter insisted that this was such a herculean task for my puny brain (I paraphrase of course), that it would be better for me to purchase a grab and go. When the time came to cash everyone was busy and I appreciated that, so I waited. Workers looked at me and scowled without saying anything. So, I realised something was wrong and I asked if this is where you stand to cash. Apparently I was standing before the wrong machine and for some reason, no one was willing to direct me unless asked.Then I got home and tried the food: Parmesan encrusted chicken breast with broccoli and scalloped sweet potato. The broccoli was burnt. Of the 4 huge chunks, there was only 1 that was edible. The chicken breast gave the illusion of being sizeable but it was mostly coating. There was an accompanying sauce that was absolutely horrid: an attempt at sweet and spicy. The best thing were the sweet potatoes..... all for $68.Thank you Aioli for reaffirming my commitment to cook at home.

There food is just out of this world! Everything I have purchased so far has tasted amazing. I recently ordered from food drop and one of my meals I placed my order for sold out so I was contacted and asked if Ill like ribs as a substitute and the ribs were just as amazing! Also, customer service is always good and I like that they are serious about covid protocols.

I did not experience what was told to me. Bad illumination on the inside.Pork belly nicely cooked: crispy outside and nice flavour and tender inside. However, the "vinaigrette" in the plate tasted pure white vinegar and it ruined the flavour.I understand the reasons of plating an acid element on a greasy dish (to clean the palateand the green apple was perfect and enough for this purpose.Overall, the food is pricey for the quality and the service was the only thing that prevented it from being a completely bad experience.

Premium gourmet food that is easily accessible for the wider public. The variety of food here is head and shoulders above most marketplaces and restaurants. This makes it an ideal choice for vegetarians, health conscious food lovers or anyone who has a very open palate. If you are tired on what is presented normally Aioli is a great option for something new. I have always been impressed by the taste and the quality of the food presented. Go for singular portions if you want to splurge and the wide prepackaged selections for more affordable options- (it can all add up if youre not careful but its worth it)

Since this Covid 19 pandemic their quality and taste has dropped significantly.WHERE IS THE PIZZA SAUCE? Where is the cheese? Where is the salt in the pasta? Is it because they are trying to cut cost? Just eww. Why do I have to re-cook their pasta to make it taste good? Im making better food than this place and Im not a chef. DO BETTER!!!

Great gourmet shop. Nice selection of gourmet salads and supper items. Good selection of wine. The beef tenderloin was very tender and delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you want to splurge on some fantastically prepared food.

Upscale fare. Well presented. Expensive and different. Imaginative offerings in addition to standard. Freshly prepared.Efficient service whenever personal service was allowed, however with covid no touch policies everything is packaged and ready. The set up fosters quick selection and rapid customer flow. Numbers controlled.Treat yourself often ! You deserve it.

Absolutely enjoyed my experience. Staff is very helpful. Thou the prices may be on the high side, the food are well prepared and tasty. The presentation captures the eye. I forsee the opening of a much spacious outlet. Thanks.

Everything tastes great. Friendly staff. A bit pricey for the food by the pound but it really does taste great. Loved the forward thinking of not just limiting themselves to restaurant service long before the pandemic.

One of my favorite go to places the food is of a very high standard. I appreciate all of the handcrafted touches. Keep up the excellent work.

I went to Aioli to grab some birthday dinner for my aunt. There were a few people in store but what stood out to me was that there was one very friendly girl who advised me of the special on some wings. That was perhaps the highlight of my visit. The rest of staff was aloof. The cashier for the evening was familiar with the customers who were in front of me to cash. She spent the greater part of 10 minutes cashing them out while carrying on personal conversations. When I got to the register she was very cold (presumably because she read the displeasure on my face for having to wait 10 minutes to cash out). Service aside, the food (which is usually above market pricewas priced as if I were purchasing to dine in (exorbitant). The quality was just ok. I have actually had better food from Aioli while dining in. All in all I would say that I wont be visiting again soon. I dont mind paying a high price for a quality meal but neither the customer service nor the actual quality of the food proved to be worthwhile on this occasion.

Great overall experience of the Valentines menu. Servers could be more knowledgeable of the various cuts of meat. Textures, flavors and combined taste of the food was excellent.
