Aida - cukrarna in Brno

Its one of the best place for sweet tooth people in Brno.They add perfect amount of sugar in icecream and pastries. Its very important to have perfect balance of sugar and flavours which I think they have. Ice cream flavours are really good.

Good place in the center where you can take a rest, meet someone while your can enjoy in the kids corner or watch a film. The service is fairly good

Went twice for breakfast and both times the eggs were cold.

While the ice cream part of the place looks almost like a gelateria in In italy, what you get is far from it. The ice cream we ate seemed to be syrup based, even though you could occasionally find some real deal in them (e.g. a nut in nut ice cream). Children might like them because of their excessive sweetness but in general those look better than they taste.Edit: I double checked the photos and this is definitely the place. I corrected peanuts to nuts (mistake on my side). Consulted the gf and she had hazelnut ice cream.

Stood a good few minutes by the cash register and even though we were noticed by staff, no one came to take our order. Untill some other worker reminded ice-cream lady that she has customers. She didnt understand a simple order in English. Ice-cream were fine. Melon turned out to be a strawberry and Ferrero just plain chocolate.Wouldnt recommend or come back.

Nice cafeteria with big variety of ice cream, prices are logical

1. "Veternik" cake has amazing egg cream but the other cream and dough were too sweet.2. Stracatella cube was delicious and fluffy, but my stomach felt quite heavy after it. 😓3. The coffee latte was quite bad.Great location, but average cakes.🤷‍♂️

The service is painfully slow, the menus are sticky, the place is cramped and prices are high. The food itself is good, if you manage to get it.

Terrible service, never again

Stopped by today but really disgusted within a few minutes. I understand chairs and tables are so close to each other to make some profit. Plus point for ventilators with water mist at the entrance. Minus points: ashtrays on the tables (hello - children in patisseries?and those disgusting menus. We touched two of them and both were sticky with previous ice creams and cocktails. One of them had even a gum in it. Yuck! Left without an order... And never coming back.

I waited for 15 minutes at the counter, while being completely ignored by the staff, Ive never felt so invisible in my life. Finally just left.

The desserts and coffee are good, but the wait time is absolutely outrageous

I got an empty pancake (no nutela inside!), nutela was next to pancake 😤🤯😲 dirty cups, and toilet is just awful! Also they do not open botles in front of a guest...

We have waited for 15 minutes until we could order. Then we went to order deserts inside, but the lady sent us to sit. After order came, we got totally different cakes we wanted - the cakes themselves are nothing special 3/5.

Everything packed in plastic and Im not talking about take away. We couldnt even fit all the packaging on the table when we had a breakfast. Thousand ugly leaflets instead of a proper menu. Tea was diy - again packed in a plastic bag. It wasnt cheap either considering the lack of effort.

15 minutes waiting at the terrasse and nobody came to take our order. No sign that we should have ordered inside.

I visited some Aida cafés in Vienna. This one in Brno is not comparable. The design is unoriginal, desserts are of an average quality. But there is a place for children to play, which is a small plus. Also the location is great, Aida is situated in the heart of Brno. Which is also a disadvantage, because there are many great and original business around.

Wonderful place, and their pancakes is awesome !!And the service is beautiful, there is one working in there “Eva” that is very helpful and make sure to give you a smile with your order :)I recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Brno

We went for pancakes and they were good. The service was good too. The terrace is a little bit overcrowded with too many tables.

I rate 1* for service. I had to wait about 45 munites for a very small cup of cofffe that tasted aweful, a sweet cake and a latte. The attitude of these waiter and waitres were impolite, I asked for 2 times with the answers "nevím" that mean I dont know. So who knows? The picture show a cup of coffee that they prepared for 45 munites.

Not the best in town, toilets really dirty ! Cake are good but not awesome. Nothing exceptional service... Still nice place to enjoyenjy sweets in Brno

Nice outdoor seating on a bustling street corner with lots of people watching to do. Ice cream and pancakes are excellent, service is ok.

Very good coffee, home made sweets, very good ice cream. In the summer nice terrace from which you can observe the passing by crowd.

Super espresso i dezerty...

On our night walk across the Brno we have bumped into this place, they had still opened even it should had been closed according to BH. We bought ice-cream for just 40CZK per the huge honey cone / approx 250g of ice-cream. Ice-cream was delicious and service was marvelous. I think we will visit it soon.

Over-rated with awful service. Cakes look great but lack taste as theyre rapidly unfrozen. Coffee sucks. Faded glory of 1990s Brno when Soviet service was standard. Much better options meters away.

Crowded place but food and beverages are good.Pity that kids corner was broken when we were there.

Got a sweet tooth? This is a great place to head to if you want a dessert. Great selection of ice-creams and other classic desserts. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating in a small square shared with a few other cafes/pubs. Great place!

Really good deserts but staff is big negative part of this café. But you can solve it that Ill take desserts home
