Agora Beach - Greek Kouzina & Beach Bar in Polygyros

We were attending a wedding and had the best time. Food both at lunch & dinner were outstanding. Service was excellent. You will not regret to spend some quality time in this place.

No minimum spend on food but it was €25 for a pair in the front row. Had the grilled prawns which were delicious total spend of €40If driving park in the field at the top by the archway and walk down the steps to the beach barBeach itself is a bit stony and the waves here were a bit higher than in other beaches along this coast but the water is still clear and easy to swim in

Very good and clean sand and water. Quite a high price for the umbrellas without exchange for consumption. Tavern serves nice meals.

Agora`s kitchen is fabulous! Expensive, but fine dining! The view is spectacular and the tables are very nice positioned, the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is SUPER!

Perfect beach , delicious food & idyllic landscape!!Expensive experience! 25€ for an umbrella, I think its a little bit expensive! But there are many options for everybody in Halkidiki! Hope next year it will be free of charge!!😂4 stars for Agora!!

The serving was done very quick.The food was delicious especially the mussels and the Farmer’s Sausage.A bonus would be also the spacious beach and the slow but steady descend in the water.On the contrary the Fried meatballs were served full of cooking oil and the french fries were old and mushy( see the photo below). I don’t recommend this meal.

Very kind staff, best fried squid (you must try it), the water is extremely clean. I liked the fact that you can book your sunbed online, the only beach club with this option.

Unfortunately they have a really bad service for the food. The food is good and the view is really nice...but we waited around 1h for the food and more than this all ordered items were brought gradually... first we got the french fries....then the tzatziki...25min later the octopus... And in the end the cheese that should have been the appetizer... Crazy serving, they can get so much better at the way they pull out the plates :)

We had an incredible dinner. We had a plethora of appetizers that were all amazing. The risotto was phenomenal and so was the seafood pasta. I would definitely recommend this place for dinner. The view is beautiful.

The only good in the beach is the colour of the water. Too many stones,its irritating, 20€ per sunbed (so minimum 40€without consumation we were told as we r European for greecs may be different price. In my coutry beaches r better,will not come back. This year crazy full of 🦟 just crazy

Agora Beach was recommended to us and was very disappointing. Mediocre tasting starters came at first. However, the French Fries and the smoked mackerel were good.For main courses, we had ordered the beefsteak 2 times. It came two times huge pieces of greasy meat interspersed with tendons, completely tasteless and inedible. We all unanimously returned the meat after 2 bites and ordered some fish instead. Of course, we knew that we could not expect filet quality, but the meat that we were served would not even have been allowed to put in front of a dog. Absolute no go.When the bill came, came also the big surprise since both pieces of meat unbelievably also still with 42.00 Eur on the bill. The waiter was very eager to help, but could not correct the bill. I suggested to pay gladly one portion, but certainly not both. After a long exhausting discussion, there was nothing left to do but pay the bill in full, as no responsible manager could be reached either.So, please do yourselves a favor: avoid the Agora Beach. There are many beach bars and restaurants nearby with better cuisine and where you are not completely screwed as a guest. The whole evening was ruined by this event. Great caution against the Agora Beach. Absolute NO GO!

The location of the restaurant is amazing, but the food is average. The glasses were dirty. Prices are high compared to other restaurants in the region

Could have chosen better for sure! The better dishes are very expensive. The cheaper ones are average. The location is great though, right on Agora beach.

€20 just for a umbrella and sunbeds. Consumption is extra.So its expensive for the place and service.They made a wedding so you must to go away from the bar.

Its a very nice and quiet beach. There is bar here, you can eat too. The water is clear and you dont have to go 50m to get deep water.

Great beach, good infrastructure, but not a nice service to say the least… I don’t know if there was a problem or not with the staff, but they were super unfriendly, very late in their orders and all of them in a bad mood (what you don’t need during your vacation). The food was quite good.

We can not say anything regarding the views and location about this place. Was just amazing. The service was good and staff friendly.The food was presented beautifully but the prices as you expected for that location they were expensive.The quality of the food against the prices didn’t much at all.The beer was warm and we asked to be replaced. They took the half bottle back and rather to be replaced they returned after ten minutes. They had placed the half bottle in the the freezer for that period.At the end of of our meal they offered dessert which was looked like left overs from another table. Possible was a mistake because next to us was a table of two and a kid and they had set up and glasses desserts for four and for the four of us we had a set up for two .Note: The desert was offered and not included on the final bill, but you always as a customer you remember the last bad taste before you leave the table.Otherwise the Agora was a nice place to visit.

Amazing sea food and beautiful sea ! We really enjoyed Agora ! You should try Pasta with Shrimps 💙 You can also bring your own food and seabeds there.

Beautiful summer days spent at this little paradise, located just steps away from crystal clear waters and a white sandy beach. Loved the super comfortable sunbeds with options of bean bags and sling chairs too (which is essential when you spend 8+ hours lounging there 😊).Staff is super friendly and attentive both at the beach and the restaurant upstairs. We enjoyed several refreshing cocktails by the sea, followed by a mouth-watering sunset meal overlooking endless ocean views. Went for an all-seafood variety including mussels, shrimps, calamari, grilled octopus, fresh fish (depends on availability that day), with a few appetizers and salads, paired with a delightful local wine recommended by staff. One of the best meals we’ve had in Halkidiki!One thing we also loved there is the diversity of music, they even have a live DJ playing there on Sundays; nothing too noisy or loud, perfect tunes from different parts of the world in a family-friendly atmosphere.Though I’ve read some varying reviews about Agora’s accessibility from the main road, I’m happy to say we had no difficulty getting there as it is located on the same beachfront of the hotel we were staying at, Alexander the Great. So, for us, it was a pleasant 2-minute walk by the beach to get there.Cannot recommend this place enough! Definitely on our list for the next trip to Greece.

Nice bech, but the entrance road from the car park is very bad. You have to walk down very hard and climb up like a mountain at back way. Not for old or ill people.The sea is great, food is nice.They charge for sunbeds, which is not good for me.First row 25 in weekend, 20 in weekday, second and others 20 in weekend and 15 in weekday ( for 2 person + 1 cushion if you are 3 people). There are bigger places with 3 or 4 sunbeds, they cost 50€

Clearly delusional. Trying to make the best of the fact that werent lazy as the others and painted in white and bought some modern furniture.The way down is absurd - about 50-100 m downhill on edgy stairs after you park in some dusty field. An umbrella and chairs 20 euro. You are offered a few umbrellas for 15 euros but they are kicked out aside as for second class people.They say that you pay only that fee which is arrogant - no other place to buy anything around. The neighbouring place is the same prices with a bar very far away.Besides the arrogancy, the beach is nice as every other beach on Kassandra. Nothing special.

Theres no words to describe the fillings and joy of this beautiful place, its unice ! You should definitely come and visit, you wont regret, Jeton suggestion.

Beautiful location, Sandy beach suitable for kids with , clear water , nice sunbeds, shadow trees nearby,friendly staff, very good greek stilish restaurant on high-end position , calm atmosphere with ambiental music. Parking on unprepared terrain, go down to the beach and back will be a work-out session .Pro. Water, sand, beach bar, team, sunbeds and distance between ,restaurant ,Cons : toillets clean but need small adjustments( see psili ammos beach bar on thassos, beach shower , parking, acces to location ( down on stairs and up)

This venue looks like it’s received a lot of investment recently. By far the best loungers and parasols I have come across, and while potentially slightly pricier than other beach clubs, it’s well worth the extra euros. The service is great. Location unbeatable and food is good

Delicious greek dishes modernly presented including local captured fresh fish of the day toghther with the amazing views of the turquoise sea will definetly make your day.Cleopatra will greet you with a smile and a great table service so there is no reason not to put a big smile on you re face while enjoying a great day by the Aegean coast.

Cannot say anything nice about the restaurant and staff. You pay for the sun beds 10 to 25 euro without getting anything. Its not clean around the beds either.You are forbidden to eat anithing if it is not from their overpriced bar. Beer 5eur, frape 5eur club sandwich is 13eur :O. Staff also is not polite. I think they are hired from the antitourist devision... It is not ok to pay for both sunbeds and to mandate everything to be ordered only from you. Not a very good business model. You have to draw the line how gready you want to get in a way that you dont leave your customers feel you want to charge them for the air they inhale..We went to find gyros as they dont offer this and it is something we like very much We were not allowed to eat them!!! Please note that all drinks we ordered are from them. So at the end we payed 22eur for 2 sunbeds 2 frapes , water and to feel unwelcomed. Dont get me wrong beach is beautiful. It has cristal clear water and nice small grain sand with minimal amount of rocks. Would have rated 5stars if I was ratring the beach itself.

This place has beautiful views over the Aegean Sea. Dish is nicely served and tasty.

A very nice location, good sandy beach and clear water, amazing food at the restaurant, fun drinks and snacks on the beach, super friendly staff, very good music, at normal volume, comfortable sun beds, and an overall great experience at the beach! Highly recomended! 🤘🏻

Very good food with amazing view over thr sea. Octopus with peppers was very good, and so was the seafood orzo. I liked the cocktails but were not the very best Ive had in Halkidiki. -1 star for wearing masks on the chin rather than on the nose. 😷

Very nice beach under a small pine forest. Access only by stairs from the parking. Good restaurant and a lot of traditional dishes with medium prices. Every day serving fresh fish. 2 Sunbeds and umbrella 15euro. For weekends make reservation from time. Good service on the beach, buchet of ice for every drink. Sand ok. Overall nice experience.

Really great spot. The sea is warm and clean. No rocks whatsoever. The sunbeds are overpriced 10-25€. Coffee is overpriced as well. Apart from that great place and service.

One of the best beaches in Halkidiki with great bar and restaurant. Will definitely visit again.

Visited both the beach bar and the restaurant after friends suggestions. Overall overpriced both of them! To begin with, you have to go down (and then of course up again!more than 200 meters of stairs to the restaurant and the beach. The beach is beautiful and kids friendly but they charge 10€ per set (umbrella and 2 sunbedsall of them of bad quality/ condition!). There is really nothing deserving such a charge (the beach amenities are basic, just one functional shower!). The restaurant has nice views over the sea and the dishes are tasteful but expensive. The staff is kind but missed half the order we gave so we had to deal with tired and hungry child! To summarise, not worth a visit by a family! There are easier-accessible and more value-for-money places to visit!

The place is great, beautiful sea. I am giving 4 stars as paying one day 10 euro for sunbeds and the next day 15 euro for the same sunbeds feels like a bit of a ripoff.

Amazing food in the view of one of the best beaches in Halkidiki. You have to try their signature dish, the shrimps with chickpeas and tarama (fish eggsor the shrimp linguine. You can also order your food and enjoy it while relaxing on the sun-bed.

Great beach bar - restaurant. The service is good, the food is good and the beach is amazing. Prices are moderate to high and theres an extra charge for the umbrella and the chairs at the beach.

Cute beach bar. Great service. Staff lovely, discounted sun lounges as it was later in the day that we arrived. They also offered us a card for discount if we were to return.Beach was awesome and very clean water.Only down side sun sets behind you so you lose sun around 6pm.loved the signs leading down to the beach
