كنا ساكنين فيه قبل يومين.. الغرف بعضها مساحتها جيدة وبعضها صغيرة جدا جدا لاتكفي حتى الى الشنط.. ورائحة الطين والغبار تخرج من المكيفات سبب لنا اختناق لان نعاني من الحساسية ااضطرينا ننام بدون تكييف.. الاكل هذا العام متحسن طعمه لذيذ افضل من السنوات السابقة

Keep away from this inhospitable place! They do not understand the word “ hospitality”. Check out time at all hotels in Najaf is 12 pm. Aghnar hotel has a small sign you might miss at the reception area that says checkout is 9 am!After spending the night at the shrine, we came back to the hotel at 5 am to catch a few hours of sleep thinking we had until 11 am to checkout. They started calling the room at 8 am to remind us to pack up and leave by 9 am. Then the manager started knocking on the door telling us to leave in 5 min. They had a guy posted outside the door demanding our suitcases. It was the most unpleasant experience!. I do not know of any hotel that has a checkout time of 9 am!The only good thing about this place is the chef and the serving staff downstairs . The chef was kind to us and made us desi food. Thank you chef!

Pathetic room condition. Room was smaller than the bathroom at my house. Room was dusty, bathroom had a layer of dust over the floor, towels given were stained, floor in the room was dirty not swept clean, bathroom slippers given had been used previously had dirt marks on them. Room service was awful, telephone did not work in the first room, had to change room. Only difference in the second room was that it was bigger in size, the filth remained the same, shower head did not work, had to use the hand shower. Bottles of shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner which were provided by the hotel were covered in dirt, and surely being used over and over again. Definitely not a 5 star and not worth 50$ per night per person. I’d rather live on the road than this false 5 star hotel. It’s a 2 star at the max. I’d suggest not staying here at all.

Good rooms

Staff was very helpful. Chef made an extra effort to make authentic masala tea for us for breakfast. Only issue is that we have to inform reception to do housekeeping every morning

The worse hotel possibly in the world. The manager is horrible and lies to favor him only. Although we had a booking for 3 nights, he simply decided to cancel our last night without any warning and refused to pay us back. Then when we demanded our money back, he went to his office ignoring us. Rooms are also dusty with dust coming out of vents . Water smells weird as well. Honestly avoid this place if possible.

It deserves 2 stars only. Poor room service and slow laundry service as well .it’s been 2 days since I asked for sugar and laundry service but no service was done ❌❌❌

The hotel is okay standard. Hot water was taking forever to run through the pipes, and in the winter you get tired of just waiting, wasting water for it to turn hot. Food tasted okay but was never hot even if it was freshly refilled. The staff were kind enough to offer to heat up our plates, but its inconvenient to wait while your plate goes into the oven every time you have a helping

The place is good to stay only check the rooms if they have windows and good bathrooms

Hotel has a good location near haram. Night manager refused to give us some takeaway breakfast despite us having paid for breakfast. I will not stay here again

The behaviour of reception is very bad, thay told me that price is for 1 night per room but in the checkout thay told me that the price is for each person.I never back to this hotel again.The food quality is poor and very expensive.Thay have no close parking.

Great experience. The staff maintain good level of hospitality and maintenance. No language problem as most of the staff understands English and Hindi. We had breakfast complementary with the room. There is a great variety of dishes but there is no change of menu everyday. Overall a good experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Well, I haven’t been in Iraq in years, this hotel is everything I imagined ! Love there decor, their staff are so helpful and professional, there food is good with lots of variety, it is a bit far from Imam Ali shrine but I don’t really mind, the cleanliness and quality of it deserve it 👍🏼♥️ Thank you Aghnar team ☺️

Excellent Hotel in Najaf, great location, friendly staff and excellent breakfast with lots of food varieties, I would rather rate it as 4* instead of 5*, with a bit of touch for furniture and facilities would be easily upgraded to 5*.I would highly recommend it when visiting Najav!
