Lovely walks ,nice cave
Aggtelek Karst and Slovak Karst Caves are a UNESCO World Heritage site consisting of a total of 712 caves along the borders of Hungary and Slovakia.A must see place.Witness the epic harmony of stalactites and stalagmites...
MoreAwesome caves - unlike any weve ever seen.
Historical WW2 train tunnel wort a visit
We did the cave tour that started at the Aggtelek Red Lake Visitor Center, which was a 2-hour tour. The tour was beautiful, although it’s only offered in Hungarian.Tip: Bring a sweater or jacket. It’s very cold down there and after 2 hours it’s uncomfortably cold.Covid-Travels: The group we were with was not good about social distancing and properly wearing their masks. Nobody else seemed concerned… We were able to stay far back from the group. Since we don’t speak Hungarian, we didn’t mind not being able to hear the presentation.
MoreA must visit place in north Hungary, just on the border with Slovakia.
Cool things. The tour is good, however nothing has changed in the last 20 years.
The Domica Cave knows how to ride on the Slovak side on the Slovak side and on the Hungarian side under the name of Baradels files. Cestou ces les asi asi 2 km and steaks there. On our website there are no restaurants or bars on the Hungarian website, there are a lot of bars, buffets, souvenirs and a lot of shops for detainees.
MoreKms and kms of hiking trails through the hills and meadows, its nice.
Beautiful magic place. Unreal nature.
Magical cave with huge stalagmites/stalagtites. There is a concert hall in the cave
MoreJosvafo, Aggtelek, must see this cave system! The guided tour is about 1,5 hour long but you cannot even notice it because of the spectacular views.😊
MoreVery nice karst place and directly in Aggtelek is a very wondreful cave.
Amazing place! Audio guide in english would be much appreciated. Concrete pathways are build all through the cave. Accessible for people of all ages.
MoreImpressive cave in a beautiful nature reserve! We booked the long cave tour, recomended!

MoreImpressive caves, good tour but no English guide
Such a beautiful cave! Must visit at least once!
Great caving experience. The guys at the national park did a terrific job in preparing those caves for the people. The caves are not to be missed! Enjoy!
MoreWe arrived in a very busy time. The guide was rushing and the back end of the group could not really gather what he was talking about.
MoreOne of my favorite places. I visit the park every year. Dont forget to visit the caves and dont leave garbage after yourself in forest!
MoreOne of my favorite National Parks in Hungary. Beautiful vistas, amazing caves, small villages that take you back in time centuries. Definitely a must!

Untouched, clean, beautiful
Beautiful place once in a lifetime uniqe experience
Fantastic place and great outdoors activity as well as the cave tour
The forest and the county is a very nice place special for hiking. This Mountains are full with natural caves But you can not visit them just with leader and acceptable equipments!
MoreGreat site but please stop using the canned music and cheap sound system.
The park offers some great cave tours and hiking trails in various locations. The castle Szádvár is a nice historic place with great panorama. There is also a ruined medieval pauline monastery in the forest near the village of Martonyi. You can do water sports on the Rakaca water reserve or the river Bódva. Theres also a possibility of riding a hucul pony at Jósvafő or see the Worlds Largest Book in Szinpetri.
MoreFounded in 1985, the Aggtelek National Park home of more then 200 caves, including one of the largest in Europe, the Baradla. A cool UNESCO World Heritage site.
MoreHere you can find the biggest and also the most beautiful stalactite cave.
Awesome sights inside the mid length cave. Route over 2 kms. Starts at red lake entrance. Brings back the bus. All is included in ticket price. Music sounds like nowhere else in the concert hall of that cave.
MoreBig cave, interesting tour but the guide speaks only Hungarian. We got a little piece of paper with Polish tranlation. Really difficult to get there.
MoreIn my opinion the most beautiful park of Hungary. Beautiful views and a great place to hike.
MoreStunning, beautiful place!
One of the best maintained national parks in the country. The UNESCO listed caves are amazing.
MoreA real beauty, everyone should visit. Good for asthma and allergies. Definitely coming back.
MoreSome caves are hard to find and you have to consider the weather as well. If its raining, some of them are closed for visitors. If all goes well, its a fantastic experience in these gorgeous natural caves. The staff is kind and warm. Worth every money and time.
MoreMind blowing. An experience not to be forgotten
The cave and the cliff is amazing, nice park, tourist paths, free spacy toilets, huge parking area. If tourists coming the weekends the place crowdy, otherwise peaceful almost abandoned. There is a camping area with bungalows and cheap buffets.
MoreGood if you enjoy caves and hiking.
Every time I have been here I had a very good guide. The cave is a must to see you wont regret this event
MoreImpressive. If you have an hour the concert hall cave is a must-see. But you can spend a day or two here. There is a lot of interesting things to see.
